🎬 Onward was the most memorable, in early 2020. Oh, and Little Women. I saw them both twice! There was a period of a few weeks when the cinemas re-opened and I went to see everything I possibly could during that period, even if they were all rubbish!
📈Lots of arts and crafts with the children I nanny, writing more letters, writing fanfiction...
📖 Circe by Madeline Miller. Interesting to hear a mythological tale from a strong female perspective, beautiful writing and just a great read!
🎼 Not really!
📆 April, with the birth of my nephew, or June/July, when I found out my brother had got engaged! August was good too, as it was my month off work and I had a month at my parents’, watching TV, eating home-cooked meals, swimming and walking.
☀️ My nephew being born in April, brother’s engagement in June/July!
❤️ favourite meal out of 2020: going out to celebrate my brother’s engagement with my parents, brother and future sister-in-law in August!
📝 that magpies steal eggs from other birds’ nests!
💥that I miss seeing people sometimes, even though I am really good at and enjoy being on my own. Also that I need to go to the cinema a lot!
🌈 my brother’s wedding, if it goes ahead, and a proper family Christmas!

Happy birthday 🎂 🎈🎁 to me! According to the updates I get via e-mail, I have been on here just over a year.
To celebrate, I would like to answer or fulfil any asks/questions/fic or drawing ideas or requests people have for Criminal Minds… Anything to mark the occasion, really!
The disclosure episode for Rollins and Carisi was amazing. Both their fears/viewpoints were valid, and they are both invested in the relationship and clearly love each other a lot. It was cool to have them have the conversations in the same place, and I love that Amanda puts her hand on his chest before kissing him, mirroring their first kiss. Yay! Squee! I love them together, Your Honour!
Her calling him Counsellor is already becoming a thing, it’s sooooo cute!
Jesse was adorable, asking him if he’s Billie’s daddy. Maybe she was asking a little bit for herself too, as we know that Declan has had no contact with her since before she was born, so Carisi is her main male father figure, as he is for Billie.
When they go undercover as a married couple, I wanted so much more of that, they were so cute!
Very weird to hear Mia calling Carisi Uncle Dom and not Uncle Sonny. Her “Finally!” when Amanda came for dinner at the Carisi household was lovely, and Amanda’s jubilation that Mrs Carisi likes her ( obviously she does, she makes her beloved son extremely happy and is awesome) was so sweet.
I’d have loved to have seen Dominick Carisi Sr, but I think what we hear from Carisi’s phone call with him is that he is a pretty great guy/dad as he tells his son he loves him as Carisi says “I love you too” at the end of their chat, is patient when Carisi has to field another call, goes to fix stuff that isn’t working at his daughter’s place, and he raised Carisi to be a great guy.
Is it just me or does the actor playing Velasco look wildly different, maybe even unrecognisable from episode to episode? Sometimes he’s clean shaven, the next he has a beard, then he has stubble. That might just be because episodes are filmed out of order. He’s not bad, but I am not very invested in him as a character.
It was nice to get a bonus episode, which was the crossover with OC where Eli steals his grandmother’s medication and runs away to Jersey. It was great to finally be able to watch it in English. It’s definitely an emotional one!
The trial for Richard Wheatley was so tense! I am sure I saw Eli there at first, but he was absent by the time his dad took the stand. Eli looked very uncomfortable, covering his ears and looking down, so maybe he went home after a bit, when he realised he couldn’t cope with it emotionally.
It was great to see Carisi in action, I thought he did a fantastic job .
I was prepared to hate the new judge/chief legal person but then realised she wasn’t all bad, and she’s really helped Carisi come into his own.
The episodes are pretty good, I am enjoying them a lot.
The one with Burton Lowe was incredible! I could tell from the Season 1 episode ( Wanderlust) that she’d been groomed ( and I thought her retelling of the relationship didn’t mesh with what we knew about her character so far). When Liv realises that he is a serial groomer and she was one of his victims, then left his hotel room, I cheered. I loved seeing all the flashbacks with Elliot, that was so nostalgic. It was a really powerful episode. It was also an interesting choice to have Nick Amaro come back, he was 100% correct in what he said to Olivia, it shows just how much he cares about her.
I like that the show is moving with the times, regarding technology and the jobs involved with that.
Sage green/stars/paperback ( ideally my Kindle!)/piercings just one hole in each ear, no tattoos/ both, but with a preference for drawing/Saturn/Ancient Greece/ both sound awesome, haven’t been to either/light academia/indie aesthetic/stargazing/strawberries/ necklaces/ introvert/dragons/ ocean/ like both, but favourite is rose gold or copper/ dawn/ early bird/ both, with a preference for baking/ dagger

if you are an active criminal minds blog please reblog this!! i’ve been finding so many blogs i’ve recognized from my dash and i realized i haven’t been following and i feel so bad???? but yes!! please rb if you’re nice and chill, im tryna find some more mutuals to scream into a void with :)
Bernie, Randall & Elliot all being at the hospital before Eli is great, even though he does have a good reason.
And another Grandson for Elliot but as yet unnamed. There's a little jeopardy with the baby being premature and Elliot mentioning that it's not ideal.
But we can't have nice things on this show and just as we have this nice moment of the family coming together and enjoying the new addition, we have Bernie mistaking Elliot for his Dad and the pain of that hitting Elliot.
Give this guy a break, please!
1) angel 😇: my creativity and empathy
2) doll: pretty wrap dress with a long cardigan and leggings in one of the print colours, if it’s patterned, a scarf ( either plain if the dress is patterned and patterned if the dress is plain), a bag and hair accessories in a matching colour. Think Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds or Bernadette from The Big Bang Theory!
3) pumpkin 🎃: either a fairly warm spring day (20 C and sunny) or a crisp winter day ( clear skies, sunny and about 10 C).
4) baby 👶🏼: a really bubbly bubble bath 🛀, my favourite foods, a good book, film or TV show to get into, writing a letter, doing something creative. Either really happy or sad music to dance around to or have a healing cry!
5) sugarpie: a chocolate eclair, or a chocolate and meringue dessert. Mont Blanc: vanilla and/or chocolate ice-cream, meringue pieces and sweet chestnut purée, sometimes topped with whipped cream! Yes, I have a sweet tooth!
6) kitten: cat 🐈 person in theory, but dog 🐕 person in practice, as I am very allergic to cats!
7) princess 👸: the 60′s and 70′s for the music, otherwise some time in the future!
8) peach 🍑: I like cosy, comfortable places and clothes.
9) darling: a lovely note detailing how wonderful/special/talented I am, or someone cooking for me.
10) button: oh yes! Tall, dark-haired, slim build, blue eyes, funny, well-read, generous and preferably rich! 11)sweet pea: I love sunflowers 🌻 and deep red roses that are so dark they almost look black
12) petal: no sense of smell so N/A
13) sunshine ☀️: That I’m a magician ( as a nanny), that I am very empathetic and that I am the best ever at drawing, according to the girl I nanny!
14) baby girl 👧: I like to cuddle up to someone and tuck my head under the person’s chin as they hug me. 15)lover: by flirting extremely badly, oops! In friendship: little ( or big!) gifts ( even better if they are themed!) for birthdays or no reason, just because I thought they would like it, or something we’ve talked about that they’d shown interest in.
16) buttercup: lover of the arts, food and travel. 17) boo 👻: a drink at a coffee shop where we would talk about films, books and art! 18) take-out meal, a favourite film, TV series or book, my favourite snacks, shopping for clothes/makeup or presents for other people.
19) wild thing: that I will stand up and fight fiercely for those that I love! 20) bubba: my sister drinking a sip of wine at a party as she thought it was blackcurrant juice, oops! 21) honey 🍯: hot chocolate with caramel syrup, marshmallows, whipped cream and a chocolate flake.
22) love bug: something funny and/or romantic, preferably from a musical!
23) cutie: Donkey Skin, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast
24) dumpling 🥟:The 3rd film of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before was super cute, and I adore the most recent version of Little Women, it was perfect!
25) my love 😍: somewhere comfy and cosy with a kitchen with all the appliances, two ovens, plenty of bedrooms, a lovely dining room for entertaining, some great views, in the countryside but close to town, beach and forest. en-suite bathrooms with baths and showers and walk in wardrobes for each bedroom.
