Another pic for @croik somewhat set in the Entangled series universe. I’ve always really loved the King in Yellow as a character fromt eh Lovecraft mythos, but Malevolent, and these fics in particular elevated him to blorbo status.
I don't think any of these have been answered yet and presumably most if not all of these will get answered at some point its just having to wait for the right time in the story to answer them
Didn't add John's deal with Kayne because I feel like that will be answered soonish whereas these feel like they won't be answered for a while (if they get answered)
Okay that's totally not possible at all and stupid but IMAGINE If John's inability to notice stuff is because they actually lost the eyesight in one eye during the sandstorm and John just decided not to tell Arthur about it cuz he feels bad about it.
Like that would be so funny

WHO IS THE WOMAN IN THE PAINTING. WHAT WERE THOSE WHISPERS.
Here's the full King in Yellow sketch page. Shoutout to this guy
I love this sm
Happy spooky season! Have some Wandering Night Gaunt concept art from before making the podcast!
Two houses, both alike in agony
I want every hfthw fan to know that as a malevolent fan I see you as a neighbor.
John like 40% of the time: Death wears a noose shaped crown, we are all just waiting to die on a crimson field where souls are left to perish
John the other 60% of the time: BABYGIRL I AM GONNA NEED YOU TO STOP COMMITTING MURDER
I would like to point out that John's memory issues only started after The Nightmare. You know, after what might be the only time we've seen a supernatural creature affect his mind directly?
Am I the only one who had the thought that Detective Noel could be Roland Cummings' ex-partner?
My initial thought was of Roland himself until Noel said that he'd never been married himself but that he used to have a partner who was married, whose wife died.
I've been wracking my brain trying to find out who exactly Detective Noel might be and I think I have a vague hand wavy idea.
I know people want it to be Parker, Kayne, or even the KIY but I think Arthur would have recognized Parker's voice even if John struggled to recognize him, Kayne was pointed out to have never known about the lighter, and the King seems like a long shot, but not altogether impossible. However!
Way back in season 1 we learned that the book that had once held John was actually addressed to Roland Cummings, a retired private investigator who owned 13 Mosby Avenue (Arthur and Parker's office) and as of now is MIA after the police found the body of his wife in the freezer and the neighbors suspected he fled to Canada (Part Two: The Missing Girl). He's also the father of Amanda Cummings, one of the missing girls who was later killed by the King (because of Arthur, whoops). Now, his office was leased out to Elijah Strong and his partner, Teddy Caine before being taken over by Arthur and Parker. Elijah had committed suicide in prison and we later find out that the Butcher was the one who actually killed him. As of right now we have no definitive answer as to what became of Teddy Caine.
Arthur's engraved lighter came from the desk of their office.
My reach is that Detective Noel is either Roland Cummings or (less so) Teddy Cain. I'm leaning more towards Cummings simply because he had seemed the most knowledgeable about The Horrors™️ and was in fact sort of the catalyst to the entire series being the original receiver for John's book. And it's also possible he and Arthur never really met. It would also make sense as to why he's working under a different name because he would still be under suspicion after what happened with his family near Arkham. Teddy Caine I'm less sure about because all we know is that he worked at the office for a time and had a run-in with the Butcher.
Detective Noel could also literally be none of these people or someone else entirely and I'm just thinking too hard. But ooh the possibilities! They make me [stick figure gore]
Listening to this at 8 am during work was a ✨mistake✨
I'm never going to recover from this
hmmmmm so many possibilities on how to draw the king in yellow...
i tried to do sth with cuttlefish, beard like tentacles, masks, maybe venetian mask stuff, eye imagery... i feel like there's potential on how to make a design that fucks hard but idk if i'm there yet
i really wanna develop this somehow but it's still too messy

Was testing out a quick design for the King in Yellow. For... silly comics reasons...
I kinda like it.
Yes, it has potential. Gonna take this to the lab (the mental folder where I store stupid jokes).
And as it’s pride month, Ace Polly Rights! 🖤🤍💜
[ Art from 2021. ]
I made these OC's based off a dream I had in 2021. In my dream this geologist girl (Jamie) found a strange 'rock' that kept humming. In her attempts to study it she began to see the entity (Peril) that was trapped within it.
TLDR; ooh scary rock has eldritch horror inside ooh they kiss and share a symbiotic/parasitic relationship and they're LESBIANS
i love it when spider people…..

Awwwh I love this Bella design!
First few sketches from Part 33! Very fun episode.
We still don’t have a full picture of Bella but given what we know I like to imagine that she was a young woman who was on the cutting edge of fashion and made some of her own pieces, hence why her ensembles pictured above are a touch more modern than what was commonly seen in the early to mid 20s.
Bonus for Arthur getting called out

Turns out Lost Carcosa had a revolution in the early 20th century, so what you've actually summoned is the Democratically Elected Committee In Yellow
¾ eye characters down, one to go…Also i like to think Cecil is immune to the fears so Jon can’t “know” anything about him and is just constantly confused.
I can’t blame Lady Ethel for enjoying the colors and her look when she has a minute.
Oswald is SO MUCH WORSE.
Terrible as Lady Ethel is, at least when she was young and Botco was starting to get big she realized there was something wrong there (but all that money and power…).
Much as that summer romance could have saved Solomon, I feel like Adam surely could have done better.
At least he knows Adam’s death was his fault. He doesn’t care who he’s killed or hurt though, as long as he can justify it. And he always can.
I can only assume that Solomon forgot he could ask Stitchery Pins to make Percy a new dress. Better that he gave him his own clothes. At least he did one (barely) decent thing for his son.
Irene Mend is not to be trusted. Still better than Solomon, though.
your friends love you, your brain is just mean
Strange folk in these parts
I realised I hadn’t done any lineup for Hallowoods and made it my personal project to correct this ASAP!! And yes, I know some aren’t completely canon-compliant, but sometimes you just get a STRONG first vision when you listen and I’m the type of person who follows my heart! I know Lady Ethel in her more… human…appearance probably wasn’t like…. 3m tall BUT IN SPIRIT!? + a possible post black rain version
