It's hilarious. like immovable object vs unstoppable force levels of ridiculousness in ship dynamics they balance each other so well I wish we got more canon content of them Kotori's passion helps push Umi to try things that she otherwise would have been hesitant to do Umi's realistic thinking keeps Kotori in check when she starts going “off the rails” I need to finish my KotoUmi fics... they'll be on my ao3 when done
