This is absolutely true. I'm in a marching band, and I'm one of the best trumpet players in the band. But, before I even started, I never even played a trumpet before. When I started, I had to ask my instructor to lower my notes, because I couldn't play the higher ones. I even remember thinking I could never reach notes on top of the staff and beyond. But now I can. All it took was practice and patience.

If you are starting to be an artist, a writer, or even to learn how to play an instrument for the first time, know that no matter how much you really are into it at first, you're going to fail. Many, many times. But with practice, patience, and a little bit of elbow grease, you can do so many great things.

Allow yourself to be a beginner. No one starts off being excellent.

So when my sister and I were little, we would look at videos from YouTube, and this one caught me and my sister's eye. It's called harmonic dream, and we loved it. There is another one called pipe dream, but we loved this one better. This is one of the things that made me into the person I am today.

Okay, so my latest chapter has been uploaded on the 15th, according to my documents. And for chapter 6? I am working on it, and might post it sometime early December. And I’m sorry to everyone that I can’t get these stories done quicker, due to Marching Band, High School, and church activities. But I will try to get them done, hopefully without another month between chapters.

Sometimes I forget how old my sister is. I try to do mental math, but her birth year isn’t a multiple of 5, so trying to figure out how old she is, especially if it’s a year that also isn’t a multiple of 5, like 2013, is hard.

Sister: whens your birthday? Is it the 13th or the 14th?
