AAAAAAAAA THEY'RE FINALLY DONE!! MY BOYSSS

It's been so long since I felted and this felt so good. Like I already mentioned, I used wool from gay rams for them (so poetic!!). Not exclusively, since the colours didn't 100% match. But all the dark parts and most of Mello's blond coat is made with RainbowWool and I can't thank them enough for sending me some of their wool!! 🧡🧡🧡

On this New Years, I really want to thank every non-Jewish ally who has stood up for us ever since October 7.

Every non-Jew who has posted in support of Jews on your blog, a comment in the replies of our posts, or even just a like. Every tiny gesture matters, because even the tiniest shows of support for us can get you a lot of backlash, and I know it has. You’ve gone out of your way to help us when you don’t have to, during a time when it’s costing you the most and when the whole world is vilifying you for it.

We will never forget who abandoned and betrayed us since October 7. But we will never forget who stepped up for us either; who protected us, who argued on our behalf when we were too traumatized and exhausted to do it ourselves.

Years from now when everyone will claim that they totally stood in solidarity with the Jews when it wasn’t cool, you’ll know that you actually did. And so will I.

This is Ruth, a 16 years old teenager with physical and intellectual disability. Like many in her age, she liked to dance and meet new friends. Her dad, Arik, took her to parties and raves.

They were at the Nova festival during the Black Saturday of 07/10.

When the shooting started, Arik took Ruth in his arms, leaving behind her wheelchair, and ran for their lives. He refused to leave her behind.

The wheelchair was found burnt about a week ago, but there was no sign of Ruth and Arik.

We prayed for good news. For them to be found - wounded, kidnapped, but alive.

I got the news last night.

Their bodies were identified yesterday. They were buried today.

And I'm asking - you say it was done for freedom.

Yes, I remember the last time people with disabilities died for "freedom"
