“ Full disclosure, I did unintentionally make someone…” she trailed off for just a moment trying to find the right word. “Let’s just go with… a little upset… because they tripped and I took advantage of them being vulnerable and eliminated them from laser tag. ” She explained knowing there was a chance someone could misconstrue that as she had tripped that person, but they didn’t have proof that that is what had happened. It was a dark room, anyone can trip in any way, didn’t make it her fault. “ In my defense though, if you can’t handle a competition or… ya know… a winner… friendship or dating wise we would have problems in the future so at least ya know upfront, am I right? ”
Laurel wiped the beads of sweat dripping down her forehead before re-tightening her ponytail. She chugged whatever was left in her refillable water bottle before dropping down beside Eevee. Laurel had always been competitive. Perhaps it was due to always needing to catch up with her older sister, but she also enjoyed the thrill of winning or losing. “You’re speaking my language, hot stuff,” Laurel said, nodding in agreement. “I actually saw you trip that person--needless to say they looked like they were gonna cry home to their parents. I knew I made the right decision in choosing you as my celebrity crush.” She toggled with the green button she had pinned to her t-shirt. \
livvy-and-dead:
“What, so you can have me all scared and cuddled up with you?” Livvy asked, letting out a high-pitched, bubbly giggle. “No way. If we’re doing a scary movie, we have to unpack all of it. I still want to unpack The VVitch. It totally freaks me out, but it’s SO good!”
LJ rolled her eyes at Livvy’s statement before playfully pushing their shoulder. “If I wanted you all cuddled up with me I could find other and more effective ways of convincing.” She leaned over and pressed a soft and supple kiss to their cheek. “I should have known asking this question would have came with consequences. Don’t hate me, but I haven’t seen The VVitch.”
valentinaramosrp:
“You’re a very strange person, you know that right?” Val said with a smile already forming on the edge of her lips. “Ugh! I don’t know. That one, the one you made me watch last week.” She gestured with her hands. “The one about the teddy bears that get wet and go all psycho killer on the town.”
“You mean Gremlins?!” Laurel threw her head back, laughing at her description of the cult classic. “You mean you don’t want one to take home and feed after midnight? It was either that or Poltergeist but I didn’t feel like ruining your life that night.”
‘At first I did not know it was your diary, I thought it was a very sad handwritten book…’

Rory: A FAN. THAT IS GAY. WITH RIBBONS ON IT TO MAKE HIM SMILE
Laurel: There's a certain courtesy protocol when asking someone to put ribbons on them, you know that, right babycakes?

“You think I’ve never tried to catch things in my mouth before? Please, give me a bit of the credit. I can catch it, I used to do it in school and people would place bets. I won so much money.” The French girl smirked, pulling her hair up into a high ponytail, arching her back in the oversized band t-shirt she was wearing with underwear as her pyjamas. Was anything that just came out of her mouth factual? It sure as hell was not but Laurel had no way of knowing that so it was a compelling thing to go along with. Licking her lips she snapped her teeth a couple of times with a wiggle of her eyebrows, playing up to the joke from the other. “I am amazing with my mouth, you have no idea.” With a quick wink she hit her palms against her thighs a couple of times. “Allons-y, I am ready!”
Rory talked so fast Laurel would consistently repeat what she said over and over in her head. She wondered what she was like before her life in Portland, and every day she aimed to learn more about her. “Your life stories sound like fever dreams. One time I fell on the sidewalk and landed above a sewage grate and saw something gleaming in the dark and saw that a diamond ring had fallen inside and I created a contraption with the supplies in my satchel to retrieve it. Pawned it and paid the next three months rent with that cash.” Laurel smirked at Rory’s statement. “Is there a French way of saying ‘That’s what she said’?” She licked her lips, gaze focused on her mouth. Laurel angled her elbow, fingers pinching the popcorn, and released her grip, watching it lob in the air.

It was the perfect Saturday night in Charlie’s mind. Laurel was hanging onto her side which, brought instant comfort. The band was loud, but they two always spoke closely, making sure there was never room between them. Describing what Laurel meant to Charlie was always complicated, yet when they were together it all felt so simple. “Well I of course dressed with you in mind.” Placing the woman’s hand further up her shirt, just so she could feel her bare breasts. No one ever saw these moments. Charlie hid the most intimate gestures, so that only Laurel could see and feel. All of me was dressed with you in mind.” A smirk rose on her lips as she twirled around.
Finally, she faced the girl and placed her lips near Laurel’s ear. “The only person I will be going home with is you.” She then lightly bit the girls ear and kissed the side of her face. “Have I told you yet how much I missed you?”
Laurel licked her lips as her fingers skittered over Charlie’s skin, smirking as she fully palmed her breast. To be desired, to be wanted--was the most sensual sensation she could experience. And no matter where she turned, she knew that Charlie would want her. Perhaps it’s why she allowed herself to stay by her side for so long. To be wanted consistently by one person was a satisfactory substitution to be desired by the right one. “I’d rather you show me than tell me.” She nuzzled her nose deeper into her neck, lips grazing Charlie’s collarbone. She wrapped her arms around her waist fully, letting her body gravitate toward the dance floor. “Dance with me,” she insisted, “Then I’ll let your body do the talking.”

“are you saying it’s scary cause the titanic because it’s true and can happen now?” maybe not so much the sinking, but what did kirby know. cruise ships were not something they’d go on. “i guess it’s scary. i wouldn’t dare go on a cruise. so sure. i stand by that decision too.” they said with a nod. “what other movies did you watch with your family?”
“there are just some scenes in that movie that are so gruesome and there are scenes that you had to just fill in the blanks. sometimes... it’s about what you don’t show.” laurel nodded in agreement with kirby. “cruises are vastly overrated. i’ve been on a couple--my time could have been better delegated.” she picked up the bong off her coffee table before leaning back into her apartment loveseat. “we watched coming to america a lot. at some point we watched the first four harry potter movies. nothing too... memorable.” she sighed then lit the bowl. “what movies did you watch as a kid?”

This may not qualify as a scary movie, but definitely The Purge. That shit ever happens in real life, it would be scary as all hell. What’s yours?
If you ever want an easy way to detect if someone will click with you or not is ask what they’d do on the night of The Purge. I’d raid PetSmart. Einstein’s gotta eat!
Hands down The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - the 1974 original of course. The Hills Have Eyes is a close second. Hm, but maybe even the first Saw. It’s so hard to choose. The only way to give a definitive answer is to have a movie marathon, I’m sure of it.
