Where. Where. Where. Where.
more Dalyrrim stuff, this time rough art! (The scale and crystal were inspired by Dygra, scrybe of the unknown by @blacklyte (vaguely)
cards: her cards are made by predictions that come true, and manifest as something symbolic of the event (jester for a stupid scenario, etc). the queen of sparrows is a rare card that symbolizes a corrupt leader taking power. (Leshy or P03, take your pick)
scale: as you would expect, but teeth are reskinned as marbles.
book: rulebook, still as you would expect.
meter to the right of the board: tension. each card can be played for free, but will add x amount of tension to the board's meter. if the total tension of all cards exceeds the max of the meter (4), all of your cards take the excess damage upon bell ring. example: you play two four tension cards, because the first four completely fill the meter you are four over. upon bell ring, all cards will take the four excess damage individually.
floating diamond: your lives. you have eight but must use them both for survival and as currency. marbles only get you so far. this one has a singular space greyed out, as it was used to purchase something.
Hi, I made a HTTYD quiz to see which dragon you would ride if you were a trainer!
Don't get mad at me for being right!
TAKE THE QUIZ AND TELL ME WHAT YOU GOT, YOU COWARDS!
Are you gonna pay me?
imagine a fully open world, liminal space crafting survival game. like you can travel the world, build, and craft but you have to get all the resources from an endless loop of this nonsense:
i just think that would be neat.
3/20/22: Adjust
Just one moment
I'll let you adjust
to the place you find yourself in
and me in front of you
You need time
to start to adjust
to the new rules of the game
and the way you play
But what if you already know
what if you adjusted
I don't need to explain this
to someone who already knows me
I'll give some time
for you to adjust
to me letting you adjust
Idea: request from @kyoshi-with-a-gun: "players slowly becoming more mechanics oriented as they get used to the aesthetics; you can play chess forever but a book changes after the first read."
#if this ends up being uncommon knowledge like the dyslexia font I’m gonna flip
Fellow epileptics, I have some fantastic news for you. There’s an add-on that makes the internet safer for us. It’s called Epilepsy Blocker. The creator had me test it out, give feedback, he made adjustments, and it works great. It may even help those with migraine disorders that are triggered by the same thing that messes with those of use with photosensitive epilepsy (mine is a case of being absurdly sensitive).
This is the only add-on I’ve encountered made specifically for those of us with epilepsy. It’s not a well known add-on, but I hope to see that change.
3/29/22: Learning through Suffering
Narrator: Magnificus
You: None
One learns with pain
so they must hurt
Torture the students
do they can know
The more pain one feels
the more they know
the more time they spend
without comfort
The smartest one at all
is me, from when
I was created with suffering
already in me
I went through it all
from before I was made
The pain is a part of me
even though it never happened
So they must suffer
as I never did
maybe they can be smarter
like I never could
Idea: Magnificus's treatment of his students.
