The same dead eyes....
What I got from the latest chapter of bsd :
ADA's plan is to kill bram so they need some incredible plans
What I mean from that is maybe they'll have the plan for breaking dazai out of the prison
Because dazai can nullify the ability and he'll make good use of it
About fyodor, I still can't connect the dots
And I'm starting to like jouno
Don't take this seriously. My thoughts are not that accurate after all. Basically this is just my babbling.

He already wanted to die even before he met Mori and when they met, Mori use that as an opportunity to use Dazai, to make him a witness.
Here, I think that he just went along with what Mori want. And again, he looked really relaxed on that table as if that was a school table. The table, the situation, the wires, and that thing around his body (Idk), it doesn't fazed him at all. Like when Mori killed the boss. This gives more proof that Dazai did have dark life and background way before he met the underground doctor.
Make us more eager to know Dazai's past 😌
Dazai : sweet but psycho. psycho but sweet
Joking. He's not a psycho. He's the sweetest boy ever
Is this real??? I'M SCREAMING AAAAAAAA 😭😭😭😭
i have read some people saying that canon!dazai must know where the book is because of what happens in beast, but i don't think he does. (or if he does know, it's not because of beast).
at the end of the beast light novel, beast!dazai explains that he was able of knowing the truth about that world because he had canon!dazai's memories. this was possible because of no longer human, since it nullifies any ability (and we know the book is an unknown user's ability), and when the alternative world was created, with all the alters in it, beast!dazai ended up being different because of course he had different experiences, but he still had the same knowledge as canon!dazai: there is a book which can change reality, and there are people after it. it's like beast!dazai has a different life inside his head.
this however, does not mean that canon!dazai knows about beast!dazai, because he cannot exist in the outside, real world, unless someone in the real world finds the book and writes about a world where oda didn't die etc., only at that point canon!dazai would have beast!dazai's memories.
let's take what is happening in the manga as an example: doa wrote on the book's page that the ada members are murderers. this means that the universe in the book where the ada members really are murderers became real in the world outside the book, so everyone believes it, and the ada members have conflicting memories since they know they didn't do it yet they also have the memory of doing it (since they actually did it in the world inside the book).
in conclusion: beast!dazai has the knowledge of the real dazai outside, because the book/ability doesn't affect him (so he isn't really a different person, he basically shares everything with canon!dazai but has different experiences, which change his personality) but canon!dazai isn't even aware of his existence yet.
another terrifying thing is that every dazai in the book will know about every dazai in every world and he will always know his life is not the original (unless there's a world where dazai is not an ability user or has a different ability, then the book would affect him like everyone).
26.10
To the only person who understand Dazai, brought him to the light, gave him the little meaning of life, changed him. Who took in five orphans, a mafia who didn't had any rank and a mafia's dog yet had an extremely powerful ability that was flawless
"A mafia member who doesn't kill"
Happy Birthday Oda Sakunosuke aka Odasaku
So true
Just some thoughts on the new chapter!!
I, personally, have been a fan of the vampire outbreak — it’s just fun and bizarre, which caused my love of BSD in the first place. The last few chapters of the prison break with Dazai v Fyodor and Aya and Bram have been very exciting to follow, and I love the step up we have now.
Chuuya being the intruder was unexpected (at least for me— I just assumed it was Gogol) and to make matters worse, he’s a vampire! Him becoming a vampire isn’t really a “plot hole” for me because, even though he’s strong, he still has vulnerabilities (like diving head first into Ranpos trap during cannibalism). To me, all it would take for Chuuya to be bitten is someone he trusts, like Akutagawa, getting close enough :/
I’m super excited for these teams. Dazai and Sigma has such a fun dynamic (hoping Sigma sticks around for more?!) and I think this sets up Sigma as perhaps a more central character going forward. Admittedly, it took a while for me to warm up to him, but I’m v attached now :)
Next, Chuuya and Fyodor will be a force to recon with. To me, vampire Chuuya and Fyodor represent a harsher version of the alliance between Chuuya and Dazai. I will probably elaborate more in a separate post, but the dynamic has the same undertones of a weapon used by a mastermind.
Chuuya VS Dazai will be so interesting. I am not an SKK shipper at all (I’m in the camp that believes they actually don’t like each other much), but their relationship is well done. I think this fight will provide some good material for analysis :D
And always Aya is so cute!!
It’s been 9 years since the series start serializing. Wishing Asagiri, Harukawa, other manga artists, and staff involved congrats for reaching success thus far & keeping the story going.
