Actually, it is the entirety of the team that wonders when Aaron will finally pop the question, their love and affection for the other so clear, it seems like a crime she hasn’t got a ring yet. 

hotch: so, i sat down with emily and jack around dinner yesterday

rossi: ah, what kind of interesting conversations did the kids have?

hotch: … well, emily asked jack if friday was his favorite day

hotch: to which my son responds “i don’t know. i don’t know a lot of things, i’m confused all the time”

hotch: and it was in that moment i knew he was my son, and raised by emily

it's like mulder yelling for scully this entire episode
