Joel Smallishbeans genuinely horrifies me. He plays Minecraft so much. He plays Minecraft maybe too much. In the latest castle video he made a whole ass kingdom and a masterpiece and got SURPRISED when everyone else present started going "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU???" He has an addiction. A problem. If he doesn't make megabuilds and show everyone how cool his building skills are he'll die. I a hundred percent agree, instead of milking PJO for all its worth, he should focus on his other story’s, Magnus Chase, Kane Chronicles, or better yet, Daughter of the deep, or he could make an entirely new book series about other mythology, or dabble in other genres, like horror, mystery, etc, PJO fans are loyal they’ll at least start to read his books, he could add Percy in the background if he really needed to. I haven’t read the “main” books after the sun and the star cause it felt like fanfiction. I hope after whatever the collage thing is (which I think is a lowkey stupid idea, why do you need the gods permission to go to collage, why’s it only Percy and not also Annabeth?) he decides to let Percy and Annabeth rest, maybe we could get a book on Grover, or the huntresses or any other characters.

Rick needs to stop with the pjo series. He needs to stop adding books to a complete storyline. Yes, we love Percy and his story and universe, but Rick is running out of ideas. His new books are either blatant show advertising, or a pr move to cover up something he wrote or did. Also they just suck. The writing in the new books straight up sucks.

Rick bases all his work off of existing stuff (Greek mythology, Norse mythology, Egyptian mythology, etc.), and that’s not an inherently bad thing, but since he can’t come up with anything completely new, he’s doing his best to milk pjo for every last drop it can produce. Scraping the bottom of the barrel won’t get the cream of the crop, it’ll get you sludge. Rick should genuinely let Percy rest and not run the wheels off of pjo. If he came out with a completely new series, it’d still be guaranteed to succeed. Rick is famous enough with a loyal enough audience/following to where anything he writes is gonna be popular, regardless of whether or not it’s actually even good.

The pjo/hoo/toa storyline is complete. I know Rick is probably gonna continue writing pjo until it doesn’t make him any money, but a boy can dream, y’know? Personally, I consider anything written past the point of toa being finished/published to be non-canon and just published fanfic because it saves the last chunks of my sanity left.

Concept: Jason and Leo are the ones to fall into Tartarus.

To storm or fire they both will fall.

Jason’s trying so hard, fighting against the pull of Tartarus to fly them to the ship. But Jason’s already tired and Tartarus is so much stronger then him.

Leo’s terrified but smiles anyway and tells Jason it’s okay. Jason releases his power and goes limp in his arms.

He tells Percy to keep an eye on everyone as they both plummet.

Leo using his fire to light a way and keeping them both warm. He makes a makeshift shelter and is relieved when his tool belt has some first aid supplies.

His jokes become more and more flat the longer they’re down there.

But Jason laughs every time.

Jason falls back on what he learned in the Wolf House. He patrols the area and his sword is covered with dust. He doesn’t let go of his sword even when there’s no monsters around.

There’s a tiredness that hangs over him but Jason can’t sleep. Leo wants to say something but he can’t either. Sometimes he thinks he’s weighing Jason down.

And then Jason wraps his arms around him and in a heartbreaking whisper says I’m glad I have you.

Leo goes to the Phlegethon to heal them both. It does the job but has the unintended effect of bringing back Jason’s memories. It’s a relief but there’s a new kind of pain that comes with the Romans betrayal.

Leo tries to apologise for that but Jason won’t let him.

It also erases the false memories Hera gave them both. And they resolve to make new ones when they get out.

“You know I’d kill for one of your tacos right now.”

“Yeah? Let me sleep for a millennia and I’ll make you one.”

Also the rest of the seven are trying to figure out how to fly the ship and do all the things they need.

And realising huh maybe we shouldn’t have given Leo so much shit.

DUDE, I don’t mean to rant, but me and my friend were talking about chuuya’s view on skk(I’ll talk about that latter), and it made me in the mood for chuuya angst. So as any person would, I look at the chuuya angst tag, right? GUESS WHAT! ITS **ALL** CHUUYA X READER! Not actually all I saw maybe five posts that weren’t, I’m frustrated with the amount of x reader. Me personally I DESPISE, x reader. And I wanted Chuuya specific angst, if it was related to dazai I’d take it cause people only think dazai leaving the port saddens chuuya (it doesn’t, poor boy has been through so much). But it’s mostly toleratable. but NOOO, only the reader can make chuuya sad 🥺🥺 (/mocking). And I don’t mean to be rude but it frustrates me.

and am I being petty by putting this in the chuuya x reader tag (yes) yes I am. But womp womp

if you enjoy reading chuuya x reader angst, it doesn’t matter to me, it’s specifically the AMOUNT of chuuya x reader that makes me mad (it’s also like midnight so I’m more emotional 😐) and I don’t want to block ppl who haven’t done anything wrong, I wish there was a like don’t recommend button. And no hate to the writers, I’m sure there super well written it’s just not my cup of tea.
