I've said for a while that I feel the shift to digital articles has 'tabloidified' everything but it is crazy that everything now is just those magazines called something like "wow!" that you see at the hairdressers or dentist waiting room that advertise stories like "My hubby of 20 years ran off with a prostitute because I got pregnant... And now they have quintuplets!!!!" but like about how it's so good and necessary to bring in the "hit poor people with a big comedy wooden mallet hard enough that they're pressed into a perfectly shaped hole in the ground" legislation
