I can’t even describe how many times I’ve caught my self talking so loud. I don’t even mean to. It just happens. That and a lot of my co-workers tell me that I talk very loudly. I’m beginning to really watch my volume.
Is it true that people with adhd tend to talk loud without noticing?
Yeah, we often struggle with volume control, as do people with Autism.
Usually it’s because we’re focused just on what we’re saying, whereas other people are thinking about their words, their volume, tone, and phrasing. We tend to blurt things out without properly thinking them through.
adhd is: gather supplies to do something, forgets what i planned to do, has to stand there piecing together my intentions from the supplies i have in front of me
