helpful guidelines for twitter users who are new to tumblr (but like for real)

there is no algorithm, every single post on your dash (feed) is either from one of the people you follow or based on posts that YOU interacted with, if you see something you don't like there's no one to blame but yourself

both the person you reblog from and the OP of the post can see any tags you leave on said post

only the celebrities that stay in their lane (like neil gaiman) get to stick around. if they don't pass the vibe check, we can and will chase them off of tumblr

tumblr has a very, very long memory. if you fuck up bigtime and wind up hurting people, your url will be passed around for decades to come and you will always be remembered for said fuck up(s)

it's pretty safe to assume that the prettier and more aesthetically pleasing someone's blog is, the more vicious and vindictive they will be towards you if you piss them off

you can block anon hate but you'll still see a copy of whatever anons you received in your notifications

I find it very hard to study in libraries because most of them don't provide a play pen for clowns!! Honk honk needs to be distracted while i work, and i can't leave him home alone because he fills my entire room with balloons when i'm gone and then runs around in his unicycle without anyone to look after him. I need more clown safe spaces!
