Ah yes. I forgot. Two short conversations, one of which was obviously the unclear ravings of a sick, dying man, take precedence over years of clear support for Rhaenyra’s claim. My bad.
What’s astonishing to me is how the things said to any character on team black is taken as “omg there’s so much meaning in what they’re being told, like this is so important to remember because it’ll definitely effect the future” but when a character on team green is told things y’all basically think “it’s not that deep, I don’t see why they’d be affected by it and why it would influence their future decisions and actions”
For example: when Viserys was saying TO ALICENT that he thought he made a mistake naming Rhaenyra heir, then years later just straight up mumbled an out of context prophecy before he died… I don’t understand how y’all act like those scenes have no impact on Alicent…especially after she’s manipulated by her father to think her children are in danger because Rhaenyra is heir.
I suggest at the very least, take a social sciences class, maybe then you’ll learn that when things are said to a person, that person remembers those words and takes those words into consideration whenever anything hinting at their validity happens.
I’m ace-aro, and seeing posts like this is amazing to me, after spending so long feeling like I was neither straight enough nor gay enough, so thank you.
I'm trying to prove something.
Dude, I am also in Switzerland! Crazy coincidence.
Update: I am still in Switzerland but now I’m making my way from Montreux to -> Interlaken
Traveling around Switzerland for break like Agathario endgame depends on it—
Friends, Bix was always a trope.
She was The Hero’s Ex who he Still Had Feelings for, her boyfriend was Conveniently Disposed Of, she was involved in the rebellion just enough to get Captured By The Villain, so that the hero could mount a Daring Rescue.
Why would that have changed in season 2?
it's insane because Mon is going to flee the Empire. we know this. things are going to get fucked enough that it's not safe for her to stay. but how on earth her husband and daughter fit into this we have no idea.
i assume she is going to work with the Chandrilan mob guy.
i mean i feel like, just based on assumptions, Lieda is definitely going to be at least initially into meeting this random cute boy and then after Mon has convinced herself it was just an introduction that's definitely not all it will stay. and i mean.... i imagine in order for her to give the speech she gives in Rebels (which is during season 3 so i think that's actually 3BBY) we'll see how all of that plays out next season on Andor, or more specifically what leads up to that. but i imagine things have to be completely fucked already. she knows she'll have to flee after that speech. so maybe things were already at that point and she had nothing to lose and everything to gain. she went out speaking the truth and becoming a 'traitor.'
I name the Emperor, himself, for ordering the brutal attacks on the people of Ghorman. Their peaceful world is one of countless systems helpless against his oppressive rule. This massacre is proof that our self-appointed Emperor is little more than a lying executioner, imposing his tyranny under the pretense of security. We cannot allow this evil to stand.
and then she doesn't just disappear she gives a speech, from the Ghost, to bring together the Alliance to Restore the Republic
This is Senator Mon Mothma. I have been called a traitor for speaking out against a corrupt Galactic Senate. A Senate manipulated by the sinister tactics of the Emperor. For too long I have watched the heavy hand of the Empire strangle our liberties, stifling our freedoms in the name of ensuring our safety. No longer! Despite Imperial threats, despite the Emperor himself, I have no fear as I take new action. For I am not alone. Beginning today we stand together as allies. I hereby resign from the Senate to fight for you, not from the distant hall of politics but from the front lines. We will not rest until we bring an end to the Empire, until we restore our Republic! Are you with me?
anyway I'm so interested to see how she gets from Andor episode 10 to here.
Kate: There are three ways to do things: the right way, the wrong way, and the Doctor way.
Osgood: Isn’t that just the wrong way?
Kate: Yes, but it’s much faster.
Ghorman > Andor > Erso

On A Train by Bearblue on Ao3, one of my favs
Hi! I really hope someone can help find this fic. The part I remember is there was a photoshoot on a train (?) in a different country, and there was difficulty in communicating. The new 2nd assistant needed something for Miranda and she ended up getting help from Andy who travels and is very protective of her backpack and later helps them translate because she apparently knew the guy and his family so she shames him and says she's gonna tell his mother.
