Okay. Just a fun fact. During a little research about christianity in Japan i found out something curious.
Anime representation of Atsushi's orphan flashbacks is kinda accurate in some sense
And what exactly i mean
This is his flashback
Ans this is Miyazu Catholic Church
nothing in my mind except neil josten doing those gimmicky interviews
lie detector interview? he lies flawlessly. they ask him what team he’s on to test it and he says the trojans. the needle doesn’t move. no one knows what to do
answering the internet’s most googled question? neil doesn’t give away shit. (“what is neil jostens favorite hobby?” “lying to cops”) every question is answered with some version of your mother or an anecdote about something illegal
hot wings but neil and kevin do it versus each other. it quickly devolves into psychological warfare. neil adds hot sauce to kevin’s wing when he’s not looking
neil takes a buzzfeed which exy player are you the most like and when he gets riko he just walks out
literally any gimmicky pr stunt just dissolves into chaos
Has this been done before?
What's wrong with the last name Seo?
in honor of that post going around about andrew becoming a lawyer once he retires
i raise you, once neil motherfucking josten is allowed to retire from exy and his dues are paid: he becomes a math professor
just imagine that
him receiving a letter one day, when he's in his mid forties, from ichirou, saying that he's paid his debt, that he's free to do what he wants
and neil, bless his heart, instead of allowing himself some much needed and deserved rest, thinks, what else could i make a living out because god forbid he does nothing with his days
(cue andrew screaming into a pillow somewhere)
and like that he goes back to university, gets a degree in teaching maths however that's called, and suddenly they're professor in maths husband with lawyer husband
(honestly that's so hot of them)
like imagine, you're an accountant student, getting ready for your calculus class (or some other difficult physics or math class), your classmate turns to you
"hey did you hear mr. thompson retired? it was about time not gonna lie, but i heard from some girls that he was some messed up looking guy, these people have lost their minds hiring thugs now"
and you nod bc what else are you supposed to do
and you sit there waiting, until five minutes from the start of the class, he walks in in all his auburn scarred glory, your exy idol, the guy who you followed until he retired and dropped off the face in the earth, and you think what the fuck is neil josten doing here
and then
"hello everyone, my name is neil josten, im your new [advanced mathematics] professor, today we're just gonna check the syllabus"
iconic
Andrew and Neil as cats or Andrew and and Neil’s cats?
hi! i love your neil(s) so much! i saw someone mention the neil universe and now im thinking uhhh trojan!neil !!?
trojan! neil descends upon us ... (deeply cursed)

In SFH fandom, we have often asked question about this topic; why is Seo Moon Jo a Dentist ? Why teeth ?
This is just my guess, but I think it was intentionally done to pay tribute to the story High Window and to the author Raymond Chandler. Please bear with me …..
From what I’ve seen, Director Lee Chang Hee and Screenwriter Jung Yi Do, both are very intentional in everything they do in storytelling. In the original webtoon, there is no mention of Dentistry and Moon Jo isn’t really there. Yeongsam or 203 is more …. A mix of Yoo Ki Hyuk and Seo Moon Jo( more Ki Hyuk if you ask me) . Seo Moon Jo is a character that was introduced by Screenwriter and was developed by the director for the series. Hence the webtoon and series have lots of similarities, and yet lots of differences. So I wouldn’t be too surprised if they made Seo Moon Jo a Dentist, to pay tribute or to convey a message.
The High Window is a murder mystery that revolves around a missing antique gold coin called The Brasser Dabloon and Dentist and Dentistry techniques to make things play a BIG role in the story. I am so tempted to put some excerpts but that will give away major spoilers about High Window. The fact that not only Moon Jo’s a Dentist but he also makes jewelry through dentistry techniques…. I think that was included as an ode to Chandler’s High Window and also as a vessel to deliver macabre horror in SFH.
Maybe Director and/or screenwriter are big fan of Chandler and they paid tribute to the author by mentioning it at the rooftop scene and through Moon Jo’s profession and passion.
High window is an absolute amazing story and Raymond Chandler is every bit of masterful crime thriller author. I can see why it’s Jung Woo’s favorite
if tfc was set in 2025, Neil josten would've pointed at riko, went "kill yourself" on live television and been canceled on twitter
neil josten I would have defended you. I hope u know bby
