Yeah thats kinda the post, if i ever write Monsterous or Eldritch Percy I dont think I'd make him a full on monster nor would I have Annabeth break up with him (in a hypothetical post tartarus type thing) for wanting to explore his powers. She'd be scared of course but not of him more of for him. She'd probably more want to safely encourage it with restraints rather than just let him do whatever ngl.
Also thinking about a possible Monsterous/Eldritch Percy to just be a camp hopper which might happen with my (kinda) god swap AU. As I think Percy's 2nd godly parent if i ever give him one would be Dionysus or Hephaestus and they both give off like creepy type traits.
Dionysus with the god of madness thing and Hephaestus more so with his kids in Greek mythology.
He'd definitely be more creepy and ancient but maybe not like Mycenaean type I'm thinking. He's just a silly little guy at first glance and then all of a sudden you look him in the eyes and you can see pure chaos behind them. You can see the burning and flooding of cities in his eyes and you don't even realize it and it just unnerves you.
Also throwing around the idea of him just being a camp hopper. Maybe after an incident he went to camp fish blood after his more monsterous side started showing and eventually ended up at camp jupiter and then at camp half blood (but i do feel like his journey would have to start way eariler to fit all that ngl).
I'm also debating if I want to do a mix of PJO and HOO in terms of plot because like realistically I don't think I'd be committed enough to write all that. Maybe like Kronos is rising with the help of Gaea but maybe Gaea betrays Kronos in favor of her giant children?? I've been thinking about it lol and I'm not sure. Maybe Gaea has a disdain to Kronos because he hasn't really changed. He's still keeping people trapped and still trying to break the cycle of succession, he's trying to regress but she cant have that, she has to build new successors, she has to make children and naturally go through the cycle of succession.
So she intervenes in demigods lives. She's been slowly getting gods on her side, using them to make perfect soldiers (one of these being Percy Jackson??).
I can't think of a more in depth motivation for her ngl. The story would start maybe a year before the final battle of the prophecy. (Thinking of having to prophecy play out for them when Percy turns 18 and not 16 just so I can do more, maybe 16 they had what they thought was the climatic battle and it wasn't, I dunno).
Because I really like the idea of Gaea being a villain but the execution in HOO was kinda horrible not gonna lie.
So yeah, a buncha yap lol
My brain can’t stop thinking of AUs lol (Pt. 1)
An AU where Luke just has a feral group of Demigod kids when he’s found by Grover.
Thalia, Jason, Leo, and Annabeth are just chilling with Luke.
Luke being lets just say extremely most hesitant to join Kronos because he still has three insane kids to take care of.
But ultimately he does betray camp and it’s probably right around S.o.M when they find out it was Luke who poisoned Thalia’s tree.
Luke possibly trying to recruit them + Percy who has unofficially joined Luke’s band of kids (Jason joining??)
The titans curse with both Luke and Percy trying to get their hands on the Di Angelo kids (both of them getting one in the end? Luke getting Bianca and Percy getting Nico)
Bianca like, not dying lol.
Battle of the Labyrinth, Annabeth finally getting a quest, chasing a mysterious demigod through the labyrinth and in the end, the explosion of Mt. Helens, the demigod army invading camp, Jason becoming the host for Kronos, possibly trying to revive some other titans in the same way as well with Luke and Bianca preparing to become hosts for other titans. Bianca not feeling right about joining Luke anymore and leaving after seeing her brother nearly killed by Kronos and his army.
The Last Olympian with Percy having to fight Jason, one of his first friends at camp, a reminder of innocence and how easily Percy could’ve been Jason after his mother died.
Leo finally stepping up from the sidelines with newfound courage to fight Kronos, especially after the death of Beckendorf.
Luke and Annabeth finally coming face to face properly. Annabeth facing the Titan that’s inhabiting Luke’s body, and Luke’s death (which I imagine be very similar to canon especially because he’s not Kronos host).
Bianca and Ethan coming face to face (who probably have a very interesting history). Ethan’s revenge and Bianca just wanting to save her brother.
Having a way more deadly and bloody battle of manhattan than in canon.
The death(??) of Jason and the getting together of Percy and Annabeth after the final battle finally allowed them to push through their final obstacle in the way: themselves and their grief.
The Lost Hero when Percy goes missing after all they’ve been through and Annabeth doesn’t have anybody left except Leo (and Nico to an extent). When these mysterious demigods shows up and nobody knows why.
The Son of Neptune when Percy has been wandering for months only remembering a set of blonde hair. When he gets issued on a quest with nothing except two random demigods and his instinct.
Mark of Athena when the seven has finally formed (thinking Nico, Frank, Percy, Annabeth, Leo, and two other demigods). When wisdoms daughter finally has a prophecy on her shoulders when she walks to her death.
House of Hades when Percy falls alone because he doesn’t want Annabeth to die down there in the horrors of Tartarus because enough people have died already.
Blood of Olympus when Percy deals with the aftermath of his journey, when Gaea’s secret weapons: Hazel and Piper are finally revealed, when Gaea is hoping to get the true seventh wheel, the strongest demigod of the era on her side. When Percy takes on the prophecy himself because the Battle of Manhattan can’t happen again (he still has nightmares about everyone who died).
lol I dunno just a thought, those two other characters would probably be ocs because
1. Hazel probably would never be found by Nico because of when Bianca dies and how old Nico would be and how he understands.
2. Piper doesn’t have a reason to be loyal to the demigod world if/when she’s found. There’s no Leo or Jason for her. She’s alone and as far as she’s concerned she’s always been alone. Why not join Gaea and bring out the system that had a part in her staying alone.
As for the plot of HoO itself I wanna change it a little cuz ngl it’s kind of basic lol. One of the major problems is that Gaea doesn’t have a reason for her actions that really makes you think like Luke’s did imo. Could have her embrace the “mother” part of Mother Earth lol.
Maybe she’s mad because the children of the earth, her children have been disrespected and abused for too long, pawns of the gods, maybe on this timeline when Kronos tried to recruit her (which I think he did?? Not sure) she wasn’t able to reform fast enough and her actions are driven by the guilt of the grieving mother who wasn’t able to protect her children in time idk just SOMETHING to make her not one dimensional and boring lol.
I probably wouldn’t write this but it would be cool if someone did.
so fast I know lol, I was on a role yesterday and today

The adults of New Rome are so lucky that Rick didn’t write Percy, Reyna, and Jason in Heroes of Olympus with the same care and effort he previously put into his PJO characterizations, because otherwise the combination of Reyna Avila-My-childhood-got-ruined-because-of-the-effects-war -PTSD-can-have-on-a-person- Ramirez-Arellano, Jason-I-have-been-part-of-the-military-since-my-early-childhood-Grace and Percy-pay-your-child-support- Jackson, would have immediately caused a revolution and shamed every grown ass adult, who hides behind a child army to death.
Uh so I made or may not have started another AU. It’s not gonna be a multi chapter as of rn it’s just one big one shot but ngl I’m lowkey invested in it. But yeah that’s the next thing I’ll be posting on my ao3 account.
I'm used to making lots mostly for myself, but seeing the lack of PJO content available, I felt obliged to share one of my creations.
Based off text descriptions from the books and images from the graphic novels, I aimed to be as accurate as possible to the source material (this means Cabin One is mostly empty inside, except for Zeus' statue, the bird sculptures, and Thalia's stuff that she left behind at the end of the saga)
Download from Google Drive https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pJ_7XRZqQ0bjKw9rj42rGR049Uz3E5MO/view?usp=sharing Soon to be available at The Sims Resources. Feel free to use and modify! ~ by Sol
"Zeus's Cabin is described as looking like a white marble box, with heavy, white columns in the front. This cabin is the biggest and bulkiest of all the cabins. It has polished bronze doors that shimmer like a hologram, and have lightning bolts streaked down them. The dome-shaped ceiling is decorated with moving mosaics of a cloudy sky and thunderbolts. It also thunders all the time. The cabin has no furniture inside at all, described as looking like a bank. It only has alcoves with golden eagle statues and one intimidating statue of Zeus in the middle."
So I'm just up thinking and honestly I'm thinking about HOO and like, what if the conflict between the Greek and Roman camps was bigger than what it was.
Like, thinking about a way to integrate the Ottomans and Franks (I wanted to put Byzantine but they didn't have a religion pre Christianity and I'm sure not sure how that would be integrated, maybe in a way similar to Egyptian magicians??)
Because the Greeks have a long history outside of Romans and basically struggled for true independence for a very long time.
Could possibly develop an issue that goes deeper than the Athena Parthenos, grudges of the ancestors still being carried by modern demigods, just because they were told to hate these people.
Have the Seven be a mixture of all of these (could get a magnus chase crossover with the Franks since their religion was essentially of Norse origin I think lol.)
We have characters learning to overcome their prejudice and going through conflicts. Having one character (probably Percy) being the one to truly bring everyone together. The Uniter of [insert some cool title here] and bringing everyone together.
Them trying not to fall apart in the inevitable Tartarus fall and them pulling themselves back together on their way to the house of hades and the doors of death and becoming found family.
(I still think Percy should've killed Gaea imo and he was written off too quickly as not an option, especially when he was talking about killing Gaea w his bare hands or something like that so.) And finally at the end the camps (or whatever they'd consider themselves to be) finally uniting with the "death?" of Percy and his honorable sacrifice, the beginning of a new future, ambassadors being set up, facilities being built. All of the camps would unite maybe under an alliance, one more step to the actual safety of demigods (now that they're being claimed).
I dunno it sounds sort of cool since Greece and their history is really crazy, so bringing it all together against one of the strongest primordial beings, fixing what's broken, bringing hope for new generation of demigods is just wow.
As I'm writing this, I honestly could do something for the Byzantine Empire as far as including them, I'd just make them more like the Egyptian Magicians compared to demigods.
As for how they'd meet for the first time, that's a little complicated, especially because having five leaders or people from five separate camps seems a little too much.
Maybe the quest would go as normal but like at the beginning it's just Jason, Percy, Hazel, and Annabeth (maybe not "officially" being apart of the Seven but instead just being there for the Mark of Athena? I just feel like Hazel would only really work as apart of the Greco-Roman pantheon just because of her backstory directly relating to Gaea like it does so I wouldn't be able to revamp her character and drop her in another pantheon) traveling to pick up the rest of Seven.
Anyways I've been writing this for twenty minutes so I think I'll stop lol.
My brain needs to STOP giving me ideas cuz bro.
I’ve been watching Arcane and I have a few more episodes left and tell me why all of a sudden I’m starting to write a fantasy esk AU help.
Anyways, the Spiderman AU is going to get a new chapter soon. I just have to get the energy to get on my computer to post it.
Unfortunately none of the AUs I write will be short because I don’t think I have that capability within me to do that so.. yeah.
Look forward to that maybe? But just keep in mind my next posts on ao3 will most definitely be straight Spider-Man AU chapters.
So I’m currently trying to come up with a design for my Percy (that’s going to be used for my AU and probably all of my other drawings) and I can’t decide what race I want him to be lol. There’s to many options. At first I was going to make him Afrolatino but then I got the idea of Polynesian Percy and this is making me difficult to design him rn lmao. I’ll get there eventually (hopefully)
I was thinking and I was thinking of what time period I wanted my godswap AU to be in and I’ve been thinking about maybe the ancient or medieval times.
I was really inspired by epic the musical in a way so I want to take some things from that.
I’m leaning towards more of a medieval time period.
I just really want to do a historical AU and I don’t want to do them separately so… what do yall think?
Small post cuz I’m in class rn.
