Some Bad News…

Elsie, my cat that you have only just recently seen a little bit of, has liver cancer. We found out today, and it has progressed to a state where we need to euthanize her. She isn’t in any pain as of right now. However, if we don’t do this she will proceed to starve, hurt, and die within the next few days. I don’t know how long she has struggled with this, and it breaks my heart to see her go, as she has been with me most of my life.

She is my best friend, a close family member, and the light of my life. Elsie is sixteen, and she has had a long and happy life. Everyday she has been loved and has loved back. She has been there for me in my best and worst times, and I have and will always be there for her in her’s. I will miss her very, very much. Words cannot describe the love and grief that fills my heart. Words cannot describe how truly amazing and lovely Elsie is.

In this time, I would like to ask that I have the support of my family and friends, and any sort of support from you all too would mean the world to me.

That being said, I will still continue this blog, and I will continue to post about her from time to time, as I still have plenty more to share about my darling sweetheart. I just ask that I have some time to step away and heal before returning.

I love you Elsie, and I will be with you always, as you have been for me.

Update on Dale --

Dale is doing great. He decided to take up art as a hobby. Here are his first two pieces. He calls the first one "House Strapped Onto A Potato" and he calls his self portrait "Dale The Doodle Pumpkin".

This is Dale. I’ve had him since late October, and he’s always suprised or embarrassed. I can’t tell.

Consistent art style who? In the vein of updating my blog, I now have a new banner! It's another Snatcher, who would've guessed?
