They were so cute when they were little!

August 21, 2000. Fifteen years ago, the Harry Potter movie cast was announced to the world.

Has anyone else come across the fan theory that the Chamber of Secrets was actually Salazar Slytherin’s safe room for all the students in case the school was attacked? And that this would make the basilisk a protector? But the legend was twisted over time after Slytherin’s falling out with the other Hogwarts founders, and so the chamber was misused by bigots like Tom Riddle.

….Because I really like that idea.
