find God and ask forgiveness for your sins.
i found god and her name is mother nature. she gives me air to live and take cares of me with her herbs. she doesn’t ask to be worshipped because she doesn’t have an ego, and that’s why she will have my respect no matter what. she won’t send me to a dark place for eternity because i am not like she wants. if there’s no nature there’s no life. she comforts me when im sad and she protects me. and she’s not a creation of men who’s greed was consuming their soul. so.
Becoming a shifter and seeing all the signs in hindsight is like Rapunzel returning from Corona and seeing she's subconsciously painted the kingdom's sun hundreds of times over in the negative space on her walls her entire life
On the surface yes, maybe the 118 does look like a found family unit. And most of them have a good family bond with one another. But not with Buck. (Long rant below the cut)
Buck has the biggest heart out of anyone on the show. He is constantly going out of his way to help people. This is particularly prominent with Eddie, but he does this for so many characters.
He lets Hen, Eddie and Chim stay with him during the lockdown, never asks them to help pay rent, and then later lets Albert stay with him with no complaint.
He is constantly babysitting Chris and later Jee while their respective parents go do other things, and while he clearly loves spending time with them this is definitely a massive favor on his part because babysitting kids is hard work.
He is always there to support them when they need it.
He’s the one that prompts them to check on Bobby in season 1.
He is there for Chim as best he can when Maddie leaves.
When Maddie shows up at his apartment in Season 2 he doesn’t get angry with her for essentially breaking into his home and helping herself to a bottle of wine. And instead helps her settle down with a safe new job and becomes her shoulder to cry on during this period.
He drops everything when Eddie asks for his help, when Eddie mentions issues with childcare and paperwork for Chris Buck introduces him to Carla.
When Eddie has to bring Chris to the station Buck calls ahead so Bobby can get permission.
When Eddie gets shot Buck takes over Chris’s care without prompting.
When Eddie has issues with parenting Chris he calls Buck for help and Buck helps.
When Eddie has a meltdown and takes a bat to the wall, not only does Buck drop everything and run to help him, he also goes further by taking eddie to see the kid they saved the day he was shot.
Whenever Eddie needed anything Buck was there.
When Eddie desperately needed a sub letter so that he could move Buck went and took over the lease.
When he found out Eddie was moving he went and did what he could to help him despite being devastated.
Whenever anyone needed anything, Buck was there. And Buck was always happy to do it.
But when Buck was feeling abandoned after the embolism no one reached out, instead Eddie dumped Chris on him under the pretense of getting him out and about and stop moping for the day.
When Maddie left, no one thought to ask Buck how he was doing. Instead they focused entirely on Chim. And when Chim punched Buck no one at any point stood up for Buck, instead going on about how Chim is under a lot of distress right now as though Buck isn’t also feeling the loss and worry of his Sister up and leaving.
When Buck filed the lawsuit they almost all immediately went and put all the blame on Buck. Hen was the only one to point out that they were all Buck had, that he had no other family outside the 118. Despite that they still punished him, Eddie taking his anger out on Buck because the lawsuit meant Buck couldn’t bail him out and he couldn’t spend time with Chris and never once saying he missed Buck too. He was pissed because Buck couldn’t drop everything and help him. He was accused of being reckless and impulsive and using their own issues for his own gain and for being selfish and stupid and exhausting despite the fact that he was being treated unfairly. He was hurt, and alone and just needed a hug.
When Buck found out about Daniel and distanced himself from Maddie, Chimney started borderline harassing Buck trying to get him to talk to her, despite a) Buck having had a major bombshell dropped on him, getting his entire life put into a new perspective based on this information, and finding out why his parents treated him the way they did and so needing to process, and B) Buck repeatedly setting boundaries and saying he needed space to process and he’d talk to Maddie when he was ready. Chimney completely ignores Buck’s boundaries as though what Buck needs or wants doesn’t matter because Maddie is upset and wants to talk to him, and only her desires and emotional well being have any level of importance and despite asking for space she literally ambushes him at work to force a conversation he is not ready for. And no one else tries telling Chim to leave Buck alone, and then Eddie only has a half assed conversation with Buck despite being his so called best friend, where he basically dismisses Buck’s feelings and tells him he’s over reacting.
When Eddie was leaving and Buck was upset he was repeatedly accused of making it about himself, being selfish, unreasonable, unsupportive and a jerk when he literally just found out from nowhere that Eddie made a down payment just overheard his best friend basically dismiss their friendship (“I have no ties here, everything that matters is in Texas”) he gets judged and berated for being upset, as though he’s not allowed to have feelings, and when he tries to apologize for his snarkiness gets once again berated and when he finally tells Eddie that he took over the lease and thus he can move, aka the ultimate supportive action, not once does Eddie apologize.
When Buck breaks up with Tommy no one bothers to really check in with him on a deeper level, instead they dismiss his wants by stealing his phone so that he can’t call him and then no one brings it up again despite him clearly still being devastated for every following episode.
When Buck gets SA’d by the therapist he is immediately getting made fun of, and accused of being a manwhore and essentially blamed for being assaulted. No one ever, not once, bothers to wonder if he’s doing alright.
And when Buck is still waiting for Abby to come back rather than being supportive or anything like that he gets laughed at for living in his girlfriend’s apartment and being dumb enough to think she’ll come back.
When Eddie gets a new friend he immediately starts spending all his free time with that friend and never inviting Buck, even if they were planning something Buck would enjoy, instead asking if Buck can babysit (his kid is 14/15 at this point and just because he has CP I still think he can spend a couple of hours home alone. He’s not bedridden or anything.) and basically ignoring his supposed best friend in favor of his shiny new friend.
Whenever Buck needed anything he was laughed at, belittled and dismissed. They constantly take advantage of his kindness. Buck gives and gives and gives to them and gets nothing back. He is only wanted when he can be useful and when they need him. They take and take and take and the second Buck needs even a small amount of empathy or help he gets accused of being selfish, needy, exhausting, of making everything about him, of overreacting. He is essentially told, over and over that he is not allowed to have feelings or boundaries. He is not allowed to need help he can only give help. He is only valued when he can do something for someone else and godforbid he ever ask for the same consideration because otherwise he’s being needy. He makes everyone else his priority and never is he anyone’s priority in return.
Until Tommy anyway, he finally had someone who would take care of him, who acknowledged his feelings and showed him they were valid, who clearly adored all of Buck and never asked him for anything and indulged in his quirks and who was happy to be there for him, who complimented him and who overall clearly adored Buck. Even before they were dating when Tommy saw that Buck clearly was feeling left out he went over to his place to apologize, despite not actually doing anything wrong himself.
I seriously think that if Tommy saw how they all treated Buck he’d lose the delusion that they are basically a family really fast and promptly get pissed on Buck’s behalf. He’d also do everything in his power to help Buck realize that he matters as a person.
the marauders aren’t even in this one. it’s about healthcare
back to the masterlist hello. i'm emma. i shifted to my marauders dr. hogsmeade is a sleigh, the walls gossip, and i’m dating a pureblood politician's son with very sharp teeth. but that’s not what this is about.
this is about the other stuff. the little things no one ever asks. the bits outside the castle. i wrote some answers. you’re welcome.
magic & wands .
❛❛ what are the wands like? do wizards have a ride or die relationship with their wands? are they basically just tools for your magic to not go crazy? and does the magic change when you use a wand that is not yours?
yes. they’re basically like magically bonded usb ports but also like if your favourite pair of jeans could betray you out of jealousy. technically, yes, it’s a conduit. but spiritually, she’s your girl. your antenna. your familiar. she gets moody. when you use someone else’s wand it’s like trying to dance in someone else’s shoes and also they’re cursed. the magic goes weird, splutters, backfires, smells like burnt toast. your wand wants you. it wants to be useful. it gets sad when you cheat on it.
❛❛ when you first woke up what was your first thought?
okay picture this. shift. blink. pretty walls. candlelight. this weird smell that’s like fireplace smoke and dusty old velvet. and i just went: “oh my god it worked.” but like in that deadpan, stunned way you say “oh” when you realise you left the stove on. not even happy at first. just … alert. a cat who’s been transported via microwave. then like thirty seconds later i was skipping through the corridor yelling in my head that i was a literal god.
❛❛ how was getting your wand like & what's in it?
ollivander was giving cryptic little weirdo as usual. he didn’t say i was special but he kept staring like i was about to explode. mine’s cedar, unicorn hair, 9¾ inches, slight bend, like a fencing foil but sluttier. it hummed when i touched it. like actually. felt like getting picked by a really judgemental ghost. she chose me. i said thank you. we are co-stars now.
❛❛ have you done wandless magic/apparition/etc?
yes but wandless magic is like texting with gloves on. clunky. emotionally draining. very "i could do it but why would i.” apparition though, that’s more like getting drop-kicked by god through a bendy straw. and i love it. the first time i tried i left half an eyebrow behind but it was worth it. so dramatic. so theatre.
❛❛ is there any magic you can do that’s connected to the moon? or outer space in general? like do the planets have their own magic?
YES. YES. this is my roman empire. it’s called astromancy and it’s basically like if astrology did drugs and became real. the moon messes with potion potency. mercury literally causes misfires (retrograde is so real here it’s funny). and saturn magic is like the emo version. heavy. binding. i swear i cast a charm once during a lunar eclipse and it made me sob uncontrollably for six minutes.
❛❛ how was the first time using magic after you shifted, what spell did you use, how did it feel??
first spell was lumos becase i panicked (but that was only when i was back in hogwarts so literally 2 months later but ugh it was so worth it). i was in some weird side corridor with bad lighting and no idea where the fuck i was. the wand lit up and i almost cried. not because of the light. because of the power. like being plugged in for the first time. like caffeine and adrenaline and finding the right key to a lock you didn’t know was on your ribs.
❛❛ have you ever used floo powder? what does that feel like?
yes. a lot of times. i don't...like it. imagine getting sucked through a kaleidoscope by your ankles while people yell your destination like you're luggage. ash in your mouth. weird green smoke. feels like choking on a glitter bomb. it’s not transportation it’s punishment.
❛❛ what was the process to become an animagus like?
it felt like unzipping myself. like i’d always had this creature inside me. mine’s a fox, by the way. obviously.
❛❛ how did your magic first manifest?
i was five. got so mad at a cousin (cough, JAMES) i burst every lightbulb in the house. it was like a lightning storm inside my chest. dramatic bitchery at its finest. my mom clapped.
❛❛ how do magical families approach pre-hogwarts?
depends. some go full prep school, private tutors, etiquette, wand safety, don’t hex the cat, etc. others are like “eh, they’ll figure it out.” mine was chill. accidental magic was normal. the rule was just “don’t do anything stupid.” (spoiler: i always did.)
diagon alley .
❛❛ could you talk about diagon alley? are there any secret places, pubs run by secret societies? things never mentioned in the books that you were kinda “what the fuck is this” the first time someone said that to you?
diagon alley is like if soho and a renaissance fair had a baby and then cursed it. it’s alive. you blink and the cobblestones have rearranged themselves. secret places, yeppy!!!! yes. so many. there’s a bookshop that eats people . . . well, not really, but you have to be eaten to get in. there’s a pub that only appears during full moons. someone tried to sell me a haunted mirror that screamed. literally screamed. also there’s an underground goblin gambling ring. not saying i went. not saying i didn’t.
❛❛ what is it like shopping in diagon alley?
exhausting. euphoric. capitalism but make it goth. everything smells like parchment and fireworks and cinnamon. there’s always someone shouting. the robes are dramatic. the animals are judgmental. sometimes the owls bite. it’s very “back-to-school haul” meets eldritch horror. i love it.
the culture .
❛❛ what do you do after you finish hogwarts? like what do you work with?
depends if you’re a nepotism baby, a freak, or someone with enough NEWTs to shiv the system. people go into ministry work (boring), spell development (chaotic), curse-breaking (sexy), creature care (delusional), or open shops (delusional and sexy). there’s also magical academia, which is full of the worst people ever. some just disappear into the alps and become unspeakables. no one asks questions.
❛❛ how the other jobs in the wizarding world like fashion designer, painter, etcetera would work? and other jobs which aren’t the usually talked about, ones like being teachers at hogwarts, aurors.
fashion people charm textiles. paint moves. it’s less about realism and more about intention, emotionally-volatile brushwork is legit magic. actors do theatre, obviously. moving portraits require a magical baseline, so not everyone can be painted. writers enchant quills to transcribe dreams. it's very surrealist revolution but with way more trauma and owls.
❛❛ how do squibs happen? is it just a coincidence with no real reason behind it?
no one agrees. some say recessive genes. some say emotional block. dumbledore says "magic is mysterious" which is the intellectual equivalent of shrugging. basically, yes, kind of a coincidence. like an accidental off-switch. sad to see it in-real, though.
❛❛ did you learn anything about the war between dumbledore and grindelward?
yes. everyone acts like it was a chess game between two old gays with boundary issues. they teach it in history but water it down. lots of weird silences when you ask about what actually happened in godric’s hollow. trust no official source.
❛❛ can you get tattoos that move or change?
yes. pain-enhanced enchantments. they shimmer, snarl, sometimes scream. very popular with underground types and band groupies. some sync with moon phases. you can also bind a memory to one, so it loops like a memory echo. the ministry hates it.
❛❛ can you get friendship bracelets that do anything special? like communicate when you’re not with eachother?
yes. charm it with a “minor tether,” sends pulses, feelings, sometimes fragments of thoughts. they sell them in hogsmeade but they’re tourist-level weak. proper versions are usually custom, or made during sleepovers with illegally borrowed wandcraft guides. don't ask . . . me and coryo have one. it's very cute.
❛❛ is there a jewellery shop in hogsmede? is there a bigger wizard shopping area? like a hidden mall in london or something?
there’s “selwyn’s charms & curios” in hogsmeade. mostly dainty curses disguised as lockets. london has a sub-level below knockturn called glare. you don’t go there unless you know what you’re asking for and can afford it. it’s like if selfridges was run by the black family.
❛❛ are there wizard superheroes and comic books?
yes. but it’s weird. they’re more like magical folk-heroes with tragic backstories and extremely convoluted moral arcs. think: ovid + marvel + victorian ghost stories. they move on the page, they argue with you, they’re terrifying and sexy.
❛❛ how do fashion trends work? do muggles influence them in any way ( maybe with halfbloods/muggleborns ) or there are any wizardry luxury brands who do their own thing? and who is the trend setter? for example we have celebrities, does this works like this in the wizarding world too?
hybrids. halfbloods and muggleborns start it. purebloods pretend to hate it, then wear it six months later. there’s wizard brands, like aeromantique (paris) or morgana’s heirs (very elitist). trendsetters exist, they just don’t call themselves celebrities. they’re “known.” it’s very if you know you know.
❛❛ by extension . . . right now in your dr, what are the current fashion it things?
faux-muggle athletic wear with glamour enchantments. sleeved cloaks that vanish when you spin. iridescent tights. magical piercings. people are obsessed with spiral patterns and invisibility gradients right now. and knee-high boots that echo your footsteps like a gothic poem.
❛❛ is music important like the muggle world? are there any ‘posers’ or people who judge you because of your music taste?
yes and worse. there’s genre wars. people who think the weird sisters sold out. purists who only listen to banshee jazz. music hexes exist. a boy got cursed to sing his feelings for three weeks straight. record shops are full of weirdos and cultural warfare.
❛❛ are there any wizardry it girls? ( in a jane birkin style, someone people look up to and basically a muse. )
yes. there’s this half-veela model called celestine vaine who’s like if twiggy and marilyn monroe had a daughter and she hated you. she’s on every magazine. she wore an invisibility cloak as a dress at a fundraiser and everyone cried. i love her & have met her. air-headed but probably means well.
❛❛ are there any wizardry royal families? maybe in the past? or maybe, just families so powerful ( politicians, etc., ) that are basically considered royalty?
not officially. but families like @kerryshifts, snows, blacks, malfoys, my family are old money, old power. they control departments, influence policy, host masked balls. think french aristocracy but with thestrals and emotional constipation.
❛❛ are actress/actors a thing? models and magazines covers?
yes. wizard drama is high camp. lots of theatre. magical films are niche but exist, moving paintings as screens. models exist. there’s a magazine called scry! and another called witch weekly but only one’s considered cool and it’s not the one your aunt reads.
❛❛ which non-school books are famous in the wizarding world?
maledicta (banned). the veela’s breath (erotic poetry with bite). the blood atlas (part travel guide, part memoir, part death wish). wandering with wyrms (nature writing but unhinged). ghostlogic (philosophy of haunting). stuff that could kill you, basically.
the politics .
❛❛ are there any strange laws? and do you know how azkaban works?
yes. you can be fined for "wand brandishing in a non-combative context." there are laws about time travel etiquette. azkaban isn’t just a prison. it’s a punishment. the dementors feed, and they don’t stop. there’s no trial if it’s dark magic. they just... send you.
❛❛ how does the justice system work? if someone steals something, or just does something not worthy of a dementor sucking your soul, is still going to azkaban? what about teenagers who commit crimes?
there’s the wizengamot (basically a wizard senate) and aurors who do field work. for small crimes, reprimands, fines, magical probation. for bigger crimes, memory probes, house arrest, or soul removal. it’s wildly inconsistent. teenagers get off easier if they have good connections.
outside of the uk .
❛❛ do you know what kind of magic other countries and cultures use?
yes. it’s different everywhere. east asian magic uses calligraphy as spellcasting. in nigeria they mix potions with rhythm, music. south america has forest-binding rites. americans are embarrassing and loud about their magic, obviously. very new money vibes. most cultures have their own schools, rules, rituals. the british act like theirs is the only one. they’re wrong.
❛❛ do they believe in jesus or do they have their own wizard beliefs?
depends who you ask. wizard culture is secular but haunted. magic’s tied to death and memory and blood and time, so religion shows up in weird ways. old families worship fate. some do ancestral rites. jesus exists but no one talks about it. wizard beliefs are more like... philosophy with spells. they believe in prophecy. and that history repeats itself, like a curse.
q & a .
❛❛ do you know anything about the scamanders? heard anything about newt and theseus?
okay so. newt’s basically the wizarding attenborough but feral and probably not house-trained. people know about him mostly through fantastic beasts (yes, that’s a real book here. textbook. dense. suspiciously poetic). he’s that guy in herbology circles. the hagrid girlies eat him up. theseus is more of a ministry name, auror poster boy, war hero vibes, hot hot hot, but if you say “bloodsucker for the bureaucracy” loud enough in diagon alley someone will nod. they’re not tabloid famous but they’re definitely respected. the kind of names that make old men nod sagely and teens go “ew, okay boomer.”
❛❛ is witchcraft as we know in this reality still a thing with muggles, or are they just labelled as muggleborn / the government tracks some irregularities and just wipes their memory?
no one’s calling themselves a “green witch” and making moon water out here. muggles who accidentally start levitating spoons get obliviated so fast it’s almost ritualistic. the ministry’s got a whole department for accidental magic and it’s honestly dystopian, little kids throwing tantrums that melt clocks and then bam, memory wipe, move along. muggleborns get tracked like parcels. you spark weird once and suddenly a dude in a cloak’s at your front door saying “hello your child is a wand hazard.” it’s giving panopticon. it’s giving orwell. it’s also very inefficient but terrifying in a bureaucratic way.
❛❛ do you ever miss your phone in your drs without technology?
lol yes. yes like a victorian child misses bread. there is nothing to scroll. no tiktoks, no groupchats, not even a calculator. i cried once trying to divide 234 by 7 on parchment. sometimes i catch myself reaching for a charger that doesn’t exist. owl post is cute until you’re waiting three business days for a “k.” books help. gossip helps more. but yeah, i’d kill for spotify. or like, a notes app to spiral in. i miss being deranged in private. started going through withdrawals in the first 2 days.
❛❛ do you notice that youre in the like 1970s or is everything so different that you forget?
yes, and no. like yes, the wallpaper is offensively brown. the shoes are cursed. the cultural references are non-existent. but also no, because wizard fashion has been stuck in a medieval loop since before the plague. it’s like victorian drag with a little bit of 1940s war wife. so the 70s thing kind of melts in. occasionally you hear something so time-stamped, like someone praising thatcher, and then you remember the decade and get chills. but mostly? it’s vibes over era. timeless with poor lighting.
❛❛ how does the wizarding world treat periods? any medicinals to help? there’s any spells for shaving or just treatments for the skin, hair?
there are potions. like actual mood stabilising, cramp-killing elixirs. some of them taste like garbage but work like benzos for your uterus. pads and tampons exist but they’re charmed, self-cleaning, self-sticking, self-vanishing. it’s both genius and vaguely cursed. as for grooming, yes to shaving spells, but you must have a steady hand or you’ll end up waxing yourself bald. there are glamours too. for hair, skin, the occasional zit-massacre. but it’s all very housewife-core. 50s beauty salon meets victorian witchcraft.
❛❛ do they have stuff for teething?
there are teething biscuits. baby charms to numb gums. lullaby spells. some parents just rub powdered moonstone on the gums and call it a day. most kids survive. some of them bark for a week. no one talks about it.
❛❛ is there any higher education? i always thought that hogwarts was more of an high school… any university? how do teachers get their education?
no unis. not like muggle ones. you graduate at 17 and then . . apprenticeship, ministry internship, trauma. you just do your job and if you die, you die. teachers either studied obsessively on their own or got certified by some ancient council of academic gatekeepers. there’s no system, just vibes and recommendations. flitwick probably killed a man to get tenure. mcgonagall is the system. it’s terrifyingly unregulated. kind of hot though.
❛❛ what is magical healing like? do the potions feel funny as they fix you? do the spells give you tingles?
yes!!! potions feel like fizzy heat climbing your throat and curling around your ribs. like drinking a hug but also maybe acid. some make you drowsy, others hyper. spells can tingle, sting, even sing. like an inner chime that says “your arm’s not broken anymore, congrats.” it’s sensual and freaky and weirdly holistic. healing is fast, messy, and occasionally dramatic. you can watch a nose reattach in real time.
what is setting intention?
setting intention is telling yourself you will do something. essentially making a plan to carry out a specific action. for example, maybe before class i want to buy a coffee. so when i go to bed the day before, i say to myself "oh tommorow i'll buy a coffee before my class". and the next day before class, i have that reminder in the back of my head — to get coffee, and so i carry it out, and get coffee before class.
to put it another way: let's say youre invited to a party. the party is a few days away, but throughout the days leading up to the party — you buy a gift for the party host, you pick out an outfit to wear, you do your makeup the day of the party, etc etc. by doint all of that; you're setting the intention to attend the party for days leading up to it.
setting intention isn't complicated, we do it 24/7 without realizing. when you say you're going to do something, even something as simple as brushing ur teeth or showering — and then you do it, you're setting intention and carrying it out.
so, how do you set the intention to reality shift?
surely if you could just walk into your dr the same way you can walk into your bathroom and brush your teeth, you would do it right? well... you literally can, a lot of you have just been taught otherwise.
in the beginning of your shifting journey, im sure you heard about the raven method or something similar. im sure creators have told you "you must lay in starfish position and count to 100 or else it won't work". and while methods within themselves aren't necessarily bad or holding you back — the way you complete the method and view it, is.
i think a lot of you go into methods, thinking that completing the steps will make you shift, when really — it's the intention of the method outcome that gets you what you want.
put it this way: when you count to 100, say ur affirmations, etc. are you doing it with the intention to shift once the task is completed? or are you doing it thinking that counting will push you into your dr?
setting intention = something you plan to do. not something you might do, not a possible outcome, something you have a set plan to complete/achieve. saying affirmations or counting with the HOPE of it MAKING you shift, sounds pretty useless — because you're not actually planning to do it. you're not being stubborn enough. youre not persistent, you're simply hoping that when you say 100 you'll shift. but you need to KNOW it will. (if that's the method ur using.. this is just an example)
once again, put it this way: when i say "im going to get coffee after class". would it make sense for me to sit there and hope i go and get a coffee? girl what? no, of course not. im the one who has to make the decision, to get up and go and get the coffee. you're the one who has to make the decision you will shift and persist in it no matter what. intention has to be there no matter what.
to put it into a loa perspective for those manifesting they shift with ease, when you manifest something — you also intend. you think of a desire you want, you intend to manifest it, and then you carry out that intention by persisting in the belief that it is yours. see how simple the concept is?
so, how do you practice setting intention? how do you know you're actually intending?
now, this next part sounds like a process, and it usually is. most people spread reprogramming your mind out between a couple days, maybe even a week. but do not attack me for this.. you guys always complain you've been trying to shift for years! you constantly ask me for challenges or tips on how to shift/reprogram ur brain. so if a few days of this seems like too much work, don't do it. i'm not saying you have to. but remember youve spent so many years *hoping* you'll shift. what's a few more days reprogramming ur mind to work in your favour and in the end, *know* you will shift?
i can't lie or sugar coat it, a lot of you are still in this 2020 shifting mindset where everything is over complicated. but you need to remember these circumstances don't matter, your mind, life, beliefs, etc can always be altered to benefit you. and that's what my goal with telling you this is, to help you take those steps into actually believing.
practice intention by focusing on your everyday actions before carrying them out. for example, before you shower — affirm "im going to shower" a few minutes before you actually do. just like how your subconscious manifests things by accepting repeated thoughts, beliefs, and assumptions as true. When you consistently repeat basic intentions like “I’m going to shower,” you’re training your subconscious to respond automatically to your commands. this builds trust between your conscious and subconscious mind, making it easier for your subconscious to accept things you've been taught to view as hard or unrealistic (such as reality shifting). This practice strengthens your ability to shift because it reinforces the idea that what you say or assume will happen naturally.
another strong intention i would recommend practicing to train your mind (and convince yourself you actually have the power to do these things) is intending to wake up at a certain time. for example, before u go to bed, and/or throughout the day : affirm "i will wake up at 5am tomorrow" or similar affirmations.
now, once you feel confident in your understanding of intention — simply use it the same way you did everything else. when you're ready to shift, set the intention. affirm: i will wake up in my dr, i will shift, or similar affirmations that align with YOUR intention. decide that you WILL shift, domt hope dont wish dont "try". KNOW you WILL do it no ifs ands or buts.
what do i do if i don't actually shift after setting the intention tho?
i know this question will be asked so im answering it before u have the chance to say it 🤣 but all i'll say is going back to the coffee analogy; if i wake up and set the intention to get coffee, but i go and they're all sold out. should i decide im never going to go to that coffee shop ever again? should i think the café is never ever gonna sell coffee again? no... that would be silly. so why would anyone do the same for shifting? sure it might be frustrating that they don't have the coffee since you decided you were going to get it. but once you go the next day, or maybe 2 days later, and they're no longer sold out. you get the coffee — and your frustration has passed. you don't erase the concept of coffee, you simply go again.
p.s. im writing this very quick in the car, so i apologize if there's spelling mistakes! please correct me if necessary
You're not "going" anywhere you're becoming aware of the fact you're already there.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:
Your awareness shifts and your senses follow, so stop letting your senses dictate your awareness.
You are already in your DR. It's a real reality that you have lived, breathed and cried in. It already exists and you already exist within it.
You are shifting your awareness to a life that you're already living. I know that you feel in your heart that it exists inside of you.
You are not just a physical body you are the potential of everything that ever was or ever could be. You're still holding onto the belief that in some way you're tethered to this reality but the truth is nothing can hold you.
I know you can shift because it already belongs to you. You already exist in that reality. It's already yours. The ONLY thing you have to do is become AWARE that its yours.
You know the truth. You belong in that reality and some piece of you, however much your fears deny it, is already there. The second you declare it as yours it is.
Once you accept that it is yours nothing can take it away from you. It has to happen.
There is no "trying" you do not try to exist you just do. You live there, that reality is natural to you. Just become aware.

How To Finally Shift If You’ve Been Trying For 2+ Years
⚠️ Little warning before we begin: don’t get scared off! I might sound a little negative at first, but that’s not the point of this post. My goal is for you to reach the end of this and think “Oh, I’m definitely going to shift to my DR now!”
Having said that:
If you’ve been on your shifting journey for two or more years, doing methods, reprogramming your mind, consuming advice, maintaining a mental diet, manifesting, forcing assumptions, trying to create assumptions, etc, etc⏤and you still haven’t shifted your awareness to your DR, maybe it’s time to stop trying to make yourself shift.
Stop trying to shift.
Stop trying to trigger a shift.
Maybe the thing you need at this point in your journey is to stop trying to make yourself shift.
And I’ll explain why by asking you a question:
In these two, three, four, however many years of effort, don’t you think you would have shifted by now?
Think about it. You’ve oversaturated your mind with the intention to shift. You do all your methods correctly. You try to convince yourself that you're already in your DR. You feel symptoms. Sometimes you even "mini shift." And yet… you're still here. Doing the same things. Searching for advice that leads you right back to doing the same thing:
Trying to shift. Trying to trigger a shift. Trying to shift your awareness.
Trying.
Trying confidently.
Trying hopelessly.
Trying angrily.
…Trying.
If you were going to shift by inducing a shift, triggering a shift, or successfully shifting with a method, it would have happened by now.
“But Clover, I still have a lot of soul-searching and work to do! I just need to put in more effort!”
Awesome! Then click away, because this advice isn’t for you. I’m not talking to you.
I’m talking to the person who is tired. Who is drained. Who, despite applying all the sage advice on the internet, is just burnt out from the process of shifting.
And if that sounds like you, let me repeat: Maybe you need to stop actively trying to shift.
Your work is done. And that’s a good thing.
You’ve spent years ingraining the idea of shifting into your subconscious. You’ve impressed the intention to shift so deeply that it’s already there. Congratulations! You did all the mental work. It’s done.
Your DR is already yours. You already have the ability to shift.
So stop trying to trigger it. Stop trying to make yourself shift.
Let go of the “making yourself shift” process.
“Oh my god, she’s going to tell me to take a break.”
LMAO you thought.
Yes, breaks are excellent. They help reset and recharge your mindset. I always encourage taking breaks if you need them. But let’s be honest. Sometimes, even the thought of taking a break feels just as mentally exhausting as staying on your shifting journey.
“Oh no, she’s going to tell me to do nothing at all.”
Once again, you thought.
Instead, you’re going to capitalize on the fact that you’ve already done all this work. The intention to shift is always, always, always in your mind. Your subconscious knows you want to shift. Just like it knows how to shift your awareness.
So, the next time you lay down to do your shifting process...
Instead of trying to shift…
Instead of trying to induce a shift, induce the void, or force an outcome…
Give yourself exactly what you want.
Give yourself the feeling of being in your DR.
Drop the conscious, active intention to shift because your subconscious already has it covered. You don’t need to keep hammering it in. Instead, focus on inducing the emotions you would feel if you were in your DR.
Imagine waking up in your DR. Imagine being there. Imagine spending time with your DR friends, your S/O, whatever makes you happiest. Personally, I lean toward wake-up scenarios. You can listen to music, meditate, visualize, even do a shifting method if you enjoy it—but instead of doing it with the intention to shift, you’re doing it just to give your body and mind the feeling of being there. The happiness, the calm, the excitement, whatever it is for you.
This does not mean you’re lying there thinking, “Okay, this is going to make me shift.”
No. No, no, no, no, no.
Drop the idea of shifting entirely. That process is done.
And I’ll say it one more time:
If you were going to shift by inducing a shift, making yourself shift, or triggering a shift, it would have happened already.
So let it go. Drop it.
Induce the emotions of being in your DR, and then let go. Once you do that, go to sleep. Or go about your day. That’s it.
Because feeling is the language of the subconscious.
Think about it: The moments in your life that shaped you the most weren’t just things you thought. They were things you felt deeply. Joy, fear, excitement, grief. Emotions imprint on the subconscious. That’s why certain smells, songs, or places instantly bring back vivid memories. Because your subconscious records experiences based on emotions, not logic.
So when you stop trying to shift and instead just focus on feeling like you’re in your DR, your subconscious responds by aligning your awareness to match that emotional state.
Because to the subconscious, there’s no difference between imagination and reality. When you visualize something vividly enough, your brain fires the same neurons as if you were actually experiencing it. Athletes use this trick to enhance performance. Musicians use it to refine their skills. And guess what? It works for shifting too.
When you let go of the effort and just immerse yourself in the emotions of already being there, you bypass the resistance that trying creates.
And that’s when the shift happens.
It happens because you stopped forcing it.
It happens because your subconscious already knows how to shift, you just needed to get out of its way.
So, again, drop the struggle. Drop the effort. Stop trying to shift.
The more precise or perfect you want the shift to be, the more pressure you put on yourself. Your brain rebels against that because rigid control drains energy.
Remember this:
When you feel something strongly but aren’t clinging to the result, your subconscious has room to act. This is why sometimes, when you care less or focus on something in a passing, emotional way, it manifests easily.
This is why people can give up on shifting entirely and shift. This is why people let go of the need to shift and shift. This is why you shift without meaning to.
You: “No, I can’t do this! I need to keep trying to shift or else my subconscious will think I don’t want to shift anymore!”
Me:
*As always, take what resonates, discard what doesn’t, because we’re all different people who need to hear different things :)
reality shifting isn’t hard. you’ve been told it’s hard because everyone’s too scared to admit it’s not. they cling to their 800-step methods, their must-have crystals, their perfect conditions because they think that if they let go of that control, they’ll fail. but here’s the thing: the more you try to control the process, the more you convince yourself it’s out of your control. and that’s the problem. that’s why so many people feel stuck. shifting isn’t some big, far-fetched thing. it’s just you. it’s always been you.
we’re conditioned to think we’re powerless. think about it—school, work, society, all of it drills this idea into us that everything has to be proven, earned, validated. so, when you hear about shifting, your brain freaks out and says, wait, wait, this is too easy, this can’t be real. and then you spiral. you overcomplicate it. you make yourself think you need the “perfect” script, the “right” subliminal, or that you have to meditate for three hours while the stars align perfectly. like, no… you don’t. all of that? it’s fluff. it’s noise.
at its core, shifting is belief. just belief. no, really, let that sink in. you don’t need to “do” belief perfectly. it’s not something you master through sheer willpower. it’s something you already have. you’ve believed in things your whole life. you believed in gravity without needing proof. you believe your favorite songs are beautiful without needing to explain why. belief is natural. it’s effortless when you stop overthinking it. that’s the energy you need to bring to shifting—trust. trust that your mind knows what it’s doing, and that if you let it, it will take you there. every single extra thing you pile on? the overthinking, the doubt, the need for guarantees? that’s what’s slowing you down. not the “lack of progress,” not some mythical “block”—it’s you convincing yourself it’s harder than it is.
and let’s talk about social media for a second. oh my god, the shifting community on social media… i get it. it’s comforting to see other people on this journey. but let’s be honest—how much of that content is actually helping you? like, really? 90% of the time, scrolling through shifting advice isn’t inspiring; it’s overwhelming. everyone’s got their own opinions, their own “best methods,” their own rules. one person says scripting is a must, another says it’s a waste of time. one person swears by affirmations, another says visualization is the only way. and before you know it, you’re sitting there questioning everything you thought you knew, wondering if you’ll ever get it “right.” spoiler alert: you already know how to shift. you don’t need a thousand voices telling you what to do. in fact, the more you listen to them, the harder it becomes to hear yourself.
take a break. seriously. log off the apps. give yourself space to breathe and think. ask yourself: why do i want to shift? what’s stopping me? what feels right to me? no tiktok trend, youtube guide, or reddit post can answer those questions for you. only you can. and i know that sounds scary. we’ve been conditioned to think we need external validation for everything, but shifting is a deeply personal thing. you don’t need a step-by-step tutorial. you need to trust your instincts. that’s it.
and let me be clear: i’m not saying methods or subliminals are bad. they’re fine if they help you feel aligned. but they’re not what makes shifting happen. you are. methods are just tools. if you use them, great. if you don’t, that’s great too. because the truth is, shifting isn’t about doing things “right.” it’s about letting go of the idea that you need to.
so let me break it down for you. the only things you really need to shift are:
1. a desire. you have to want to go to your desired reality. no brainer, right?
2. belief. this is the big one. you have to trust it’s possible. no “what ifs,” no “but hows.” just trust.
3. persistence. if it doesn’t happen right away, that’s okay. don’t give up. if you’ve ever learned to ride a bike, you know that falling doesn’t mean you can’t do it—it just means you’re learning. shifting is the same.
that’s it. no fancy rituals, no endless research, no “perfect” conditions. the process is simple because it’s natural. you’ve probably done it before without even realizing it— the only reason it feels hard now is because you’ve convinced yourself it has to be.
stop making it harder than it needs to be. shifting isn’t this unattainable, mystical thing reserved for “chosen ones.” it’s something anyone can do. you can do it. your mom can do it. that anti-shifter lurking in every crevice of shiftblr could do it. you’ve always been capable. but you have to stop getting in your own way. stop doubting yourself. stop relying on others to tell you what’s possible. this is your journey. own it.
and above all, be patient. shifting is not a race. it’s not about how fast you can get there or how perfect your dr is. it’s about trust, intention, and focus. log off, tune into yourself, and let it happen. shifting has always been yours to claim. it’s not something you need permission for. it’s not something you need to earn. it’s just you, your mind, and your belief. always has been, always will be.
Hey alluring souls!
You didn’t find this post by accident. Fate led you here, because you were born to command your reality.
I was watching Tam Kaur, and she shared this brilliant idea:
Imagine you're in a competition, and someone secretly shows you the winners' list—your name is on it. You’ve already won. Would you care if other competitors said, “ There's no way you are winning this, I’m winning this!”? Would you stress when the host dramatically pauses before announcing the winner? Of course not. Most likely you'd be wondering when are they gonna call you to stage to give the winners award right in front of that girl who said you'll never win. You’d sit back, relaxed, knowing the outcome is already decided.
Then it hit me—why not apply this same mindset to manifestations when the 3D shows me the opposite?
What if your future self came to you and said:
“Psst… You and your SP are in a committed relationship now.”
Would it matter if, right now, they were dating someone else? Would it matter if their current girl flaunted how much he’s princess-treating her just to make you jealous? Or if she stormed up to you, declaring, "SP is mine, back off!" Would you stress over what they say or do in the 3D? No—because you already know how the story ends. (Spoiler alert: SP is already yours)
Same with your dream job. Even if 3D throws rejections your way, if your future self tells you, “Hey, I’m working at our dream company, and it’s amazing!”—would you spiral? Of course not! Because the outcome is already set, you know how the chapter ends.
Funnily enough, I unknowingly used this mindset before I even knew about manifestation. During a competition, I told my friend, “Let’s present our idea like we already know we’re the winners.” In the past, I had approached competitions with an “Eh, I’m probably going to lose anyway, so what’s the point?” mindset—and I always did lose. But this time? We won.
This is how you stop letting the 3D shake you. See the final results first, live from that certainty, and watch as everything aligns accordingly. And you'll stop giving a damn about the 3d because you know how the story goes, it's already yours.
I caught myself “trying” to manifest something instead of deciding and assuming it’s done…omg this is NOT ME!!😭
it finally clicked…(after the 465th post i read) i TRULY AM EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE. i’m in my dr right tf now. yall…something SHIFTED. LITERALLY.
Je voyage dans les étoiles. ✨Don't doubt yourself, you're literally made of star dust ✨
