This tale sweeps you up and drops you back 3500 years into the past, straight onto the banks of the Nile, at the dawn of the Egyptian New Kingdom. The Empire has only been liberated from a hundred year old occupation. The scars left by the war are still healing and yet, threats loom on the horizon again. Some powerful artifacts have been stolen and the king entrusts you with their recovery. Suddenly finding yourself out of your depth and all out of options, you have no choice but to agree to the dangerous mission. You don't know what awaits you on this journey but you know one thing for sure: if you don't catch the enemies of the empire, you will risk more than your own life.
Take your fate into your own hands, solve mysteries, meet new friends, fall in love, learn about magic, monsters, spirits, gods, and have fun in the ancient Egyptian Kingdom in this historical fantasy novel.

In the suffocating darkness of your cell, time has no meaning. The days stretch on endlessly, their passage forgotten as your mind struggles to grasp at fragments of what once was. Every moment feels indistinguishable from the next, and the bars of your prison seem less like a cage and more like an eternal part of your existence.
Then, one night, as you finally surrender to sleep, something shifts. A presence stirs in the darkness, strange and unknowable, an entity who speaks not with words but with a deep, resounding power that reaches into the very marrow of your bones.
You are gifted with a power — an ancient and volatile force that could change the course of the world. It is the flame that can set the world ablaze, but whether it will burn it to the ground or forge something new depends entirely on you.
Customize YOUR own MC! Play as female, male, non-binary; straight, biseuxal, panseuxal, gay; asexual, and even, touch-averse! What beliefs shape your (semi-set) personality, how do you see the world?
Shape the environment around you! Discover how powerful you really are, and how deep your bloodline falls into ancient lineage.
Build and train the bond you have with your dragon companion! Even customize their appearance! Certain colors and traits affect their power and battle techniques.
Enrich yourself in a story filled with a whole ton of flavor text (not shown in the demo)
Find love in a cast of three characters! Have your actions affect their personality in a super in-depth platonic and romantic tracker where these characters have their own set traits, beliefs, and hobbies!
A BUNCH MORE!!
You see them nearly every day, one would assume he/she was your own personal guard. You don't know how it happened, how Vidalias/Vidalia came to fruition in front of your cell, but, you grew up together - albite on two different sides of wall. Whether it was out of your own violation, and rules that kept him/her quiet, conversation was kept to a minimum. You were left to study his/her bronze armor suit, olive skin with matching brown eyes scarred and torn with countless training methods. You've seen his/her hair only once, and it was cropped short and black to the nape of his/her neck - you maybe even caught the sight of ink trailing down his/her ear.
A girl/boy who ran across yourself mid-adventure with her/his twin sister, Shavani. She/He was kind, welcoming, the sun that cast a shine across the darkening world. Solara/Sundra has white hair cascading down her/his back, kept tightly in a neat braid with bangs and layers crossing her/his face. Her/His heterochromatic eyes caught your attention first, after the blade, of course. They opened up their arms to you rather quickly, regardless of if you wanted them to or not.
The last of who you've come across, when you were stuck in a sticky situation with the last of your honesty fading out. They have more secrets than hobbies, and there's not much you can describe about Alaric/Asura without mentioning the way they move - it's fluid yet dangerous, and his/her green eyes pierce deeply into the hearts of everyone surrounding him/her. You think it's almost funny, how hypocritical he/she can be - but don't let him/her hear you say that.
I shouldn’t have to say this, but apparently, some of y’all need a wake-up call:
STOP HARASSING AUTHORS. Stop badgering them, stop guilt-tripping them, and for the love of god, stop sexually harassing them.
Authors in this community are putting blood, sweat, and soul into writing free games and stories — for you. They don’t owe you updates. They don’t owe you romance routes. They don’t owe you your weird little fantasies. They are not your personal writing service.
Some of you are not just entitled — you’re predatory. If you're sending inappropriate messages to authors, making creepy comments about characters or romance options, or trying to blur boundaries for your own gratification? That’s not “flirting.” That’s not “engaging with the story.” That’s harassment.
If someone tells you a boundary — respect it. If they don’t update for a while — that’s their right. If they don’t write your favorite RO the way you want — tough. They are not here to cater to your every whim. They are here because they love stories. Don’t make them regret sharing them.
This behavior isn’t just “annoying.” It’s driving talented, kind, and brilliant creators out of the community. So if you’ve been part of the problem, take a step back and ask yourself what kind of fan you actually want to be — because right now, some of you are acting like the exact reason creators lock their inboxes, go on hiatus, or quit entirely.
Writers are not your therapists, your kink dispensers, or your emotional punching bags. They’re people. Treat them like it.
And if that’s too hard? Get out. We won’t miss you.

As a kalalav (death flower) harvester, you live and work in the holy land of Duutrepia. You've known nothing else since birth. The merciless disease's agonizing grip, your burning rage, and the crimson flowers—all share a grim connection. You don't know what freedom means. Will you ever get the chance to become your own person? But what will happen when the Abyss Forged descend? Cruel, demon-like creatures who have intelligence. This speaks of trouble for you and the other elves. They talk about the rightful gods, who will soon return and rule over the realm of Sar'saris.
The IF will discuss the following topics and a few others that some players may find uncomfortable. Please read at your own risk. ➤ Slavery ➤ Pregnancy ➤ Hunger ➤ Mental, physical, and emotional abuse ➤ Familial issues ➤ Blood ➤ Gore ➤ Anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts ➤ Deaths ➤ Animal deaths ➤ Child deaths ➤ Religious themes ➤ An oppressive atmosphere (especially in the starting chapters) ➤ Lack of freedom and detailed mentions of dominance assertion
You can choose your MC's: ➤ Gender (Female/Male) ➤ Eye colour ➤ Skin colour ➤ Hair colour, hair length, and hair type. ➤ Height ➤ Outfit ➤ Main Path (Rage/Compassion) ➤ Religious Belief (Believer/Disbeliever) ➤ Relationship Path (Shy/Flirty) Note: There are a few hidden stats that don't show in the stats menu, but they will affect the game's plot mildly and majorly.
YLVERAS/YLVERA CAISYS: The famed dragon rider hailing from Duutrepia. Composed and genuine. Though quiet, their eyes speak volumes. They burn with an intensity of untamed fire. What a curious individual. IMRAI/IMRA RORA: The descendant of a long line of oracles. Though when one first sees them, it's quite difficult to believe that fact. Charming and flirtatious. However, their actions don't match their words sometimes. What is their actual goal in life? KATRYK/KATIR GRERA: The leader of the association. They desire nothing more than power, fame, and money. Confident and goal-oriented. However, their expression sometimes tells a different story. They require something else, something different. SYV/SYVI WYNDI: The exiled noble from Hishuy. They observe from the shadows and don't seem too fond of forming relations with others. Haughty and introverted. The scar on their porcelain face tells a painful story.
A few notable side characters are: ELANIL ARAVBI: Your mother and a gifted healer. She's kind, caring, and adores you more than anything and anyone in this world. But your beloved guardian is hiding a secret, one she isn't ready to tell you yet. NALAEA EKRAS: The esteemed alchemist from Neptule. She's playful and incredibly smart. Nalaea dreams big and has many hopes for herself. You wonder just how many of those will come true for her. THEDOMAR ALTRIS: The fearless gunslinger and Nalaea's partner. He's always seen walking around with a self-assured grin and looks like nothing in this world will ever shake him. NUUVIAN NORVAN: The sarcastic yet talented healer. His witty nature and sharp tongue make up for his short height. Nuuvian takes pride in his ability. You can drop the fear of dying when he's there.

writing’s going real fast now. I’m averaging 1000 words a day now. plus the new invincible season gave me some interesting ideas.
Very pretty princess hmm
every day I beg people to learn how to read and analyze the text they're reading. pls the booktok pandemic cannot go over into the IF fandom too. please read and analyze and get excited instead of being annoying and irresponsible. DO NOT BE THE REASON AN AUTHOR LOSES LOVE FOR THEIR PROJECT OR FEELS TOO PRESSURED! especially if you're getting this craft for FREE.
I say this as someone who writes too.
don't tell the authors what to do. if you think you could do better than sit down and write yourself if you've got a stick up your ass like that.
let authors tell the story THEY want to tell, we're all passenger on their ships and you better have RESPECT for their storytelling and their craft. don't tell them to tone something down, don't tell them how to write their characters, don't fuck with their narrative. they have a PLAN and many IF writers already have a whole story outlined.
authors don't owe you answers to all questions, especially if it concerns the future plot developments. create theories but don't push them on authors.
SUPPORT authors, SEND POSITIVE WORDS, COMMENTS, CREATE FAN CONTENT PRAISING THE WORK!!!
be nice, just be fucking nice. many creators of IFs work a DAY JOB!!! they don't write 24/7 and you should respect their time/their life.
send authors support, always. don't rush them, don't trash them, don't be dipshits.
this behavior is something I see extensively in several IFs I read and I don't read a lot tbh. but this has to be said.
edit: someone believed that this post asks for no constructive criticism, but constructive criticism vs being a dipshit are two different things. constructive criticism is helpful, esp when asked. so please proceed to this post additionally to understand that flattery is NOT equal support, and being an asshole and bash authors is NOT constructive criticism. please learn to understand the difference.
Just want to say thank you to people that make interactive fiction games. Never stop
Heya! Just wanted to update you guys that I'm focusing on Chapter 2, Part 2 (I've already started and we're past 10k words), the alternative short story where the MC dies, and the Ko-fi exclusive content (not sure what it will be yet, but I'll come up with something!).
I won't be very active so if you're wondering why I'm not around, it's just because I'll be busy with these projects + irl stuff.
I’m a bit late, but Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Wishing you all the best! <3
It really should be acknowledged, in one way or another, that Amy saved Shadow's life.
Not Sonic. Not Rouge. Their contributions later cannot be understated, but in a pivotal moment where it can be argued it counted most, Amy was the one to save Shadow's life by asking them to give everyone a chance.
By extension, she was asking Shadow to give themselves a chance.
And Shadow took it.
