lately i've been having to remind myself that it's okay i'm not making as much academic progress as quick as i'm used to. i have a pet and a full time career that i'm juggling in addition to trying to be an adult. it's alright to let yourself be and rest after a hard day's work, even if that work wasn't academic.
"what did students do before chatgpt?" well one time i forgot i had a history essay due at my 10am class the morning of so over the course of my 30 minute bus ride to school i awkwardly used by backpack as a desk, sped wrote the essay, and got an A on it.
six months later i re-read the essay prior to the final exam, went 'ohhhh yeah i remember this', got a question on that topic, and aced it.
point being that actually doing the work is how you learn the material and internalize it. ChatGPT can give you a short cut but you won't build you the the muscles.
I'm back
Iβve been so busy in these days that I hadn't even got time for myself.
I've tried Histology again and again, but nothing seems to work. Honestly I'm tired and frustrated, because I have studied A LOT. I guess its a matter of luck π₯²π
Here there are few photos from the past days, lessons and study sessions were intense (thereβs my cat trying to give me some moral support).
Good study to everyone! πβ¨π
... is kind of driving me insane tbh, but i really want to finish this manuscript before i go on my trip, so i'm giving it all my energy π€ i can do it for at least another week before i really lose it officially π

28.04.2024 // starting my morning off in this gorgeous coffee shop (where I feel like Iβve already become a regular)
you ask a student in april how they're doing and they'll say "oh i'm fine" but in reality they are treating themselves in such a way that violates the geneva convention on treatment of prisoners
all i want is qty 1! a dimly lit cafe/bookstore with good coffee and comfortable seating. that's it.
sincerely,
a full time worker and college student who is tired of starbucks and libraries with fluorescent lighting
