If I'm hypersexual from trauma
Can I still feel a lack of attraction/be asexual?
Yeah, you can definitely be asexual and hypersexual at the same time. Asexual doesn't mean not sexual at all/never engages in any sexual behaviour. Similarly you don't have to experience sexual attraction (or experience it to the same extent as allosexual people do) to be hypersexual, especially since it's often a trauma response.
If you feel like you're not experiencing that full range of sexuality, such as not experiencing sexual attraction (or experiencing it weakly/rarely/etc.) than you can ID as asexual. Simple as that.
gotta be honest with you, i'm not too sure about this thing ppl say of "conservatives" being irrationally opposed to "trans people just existing" or whatever. i guess controversial take but no they actually have very concrete reasons to oppose bodily autonomy and the destabilization of sexual roles we represent considering their views on sex/gender and social reproduction overall actually. obviously we must oppose those views as they are 1. wrong and 2. oppressive but like. it's not like they just chose a random minority to hate. i mean otherwise why do you think it's specifically us.
Your first pride story was touching and all but you still married a man.
Yeah, bisexuals do that sometimes.
Day 11642 of my silly aroace brain not fathoming how "friendzoning" is supposed to be bad
"I never thought he'd take us back to 1929," sobs woman who thought she was only voting for someone who'd take us back to 1950
The fact that jkr doesnt seem to realise that the freedom to remove and decenter sex from your lifestyles and relationships, to not be told that sexual experience gives you measurable value, or to simply not be forced to be sexual when you dont want to be is such a massive part of women's liberation just cements what I already suspected: that shes never been a feminist at all, just a racist old creep with no life outside of her hatred
