Being in fandom spaces is so surreal-

Bc once your age hits a 'serious' number, you start to think - "damn, I should probably stop geeking and get more serious." But then you scroll and see a 34y/o woman writing fics after driving her kids to school, a 40y/o dude making fanart of his fav super heroes and you realize - "nah, I'm actually good"

me yesterday: omg i'm so excited for jibcon this weekend. i know misha is just chomping at the bit to Say Something™

ponyboy’s first christmas (when he’s 5 months) soda sends santa a letter asking if he can give pony back in exchange for a real pony

Cas watching The Princess Bride and suffering a catharsis with Buttercup and Westley romance and all the ‘as you wish’ 'why didn't you wait for me' and ‘because... you had died’, and secretly desiring, yearning for that amount of love and devotion not realizing he already has it

So we all know by now that Dean canonically makes Cas watch cowboy movies with him.

Now consider that because Dean is so out of touch with pop culture and stuff that one day they’re looking for a new movie together and they see Brokeback Mountain and Dean is like “oh yeah didn’t Claire compare our Halloween costumes last year to that movie? Maybe we should watch it”

So they watch it and they both just sort of like stiffen up in their chairs and death stare the tv. And then when the movies over they just sit in silence not looking at each other for like twenty minutes before they both get up to leave at the same time and bump into each other and they do that weird little fancy thing you do when you run into someone and then they each retreat into their rooms and don’t talk or make eye contact for the next three days

if i cant kill myself i guess i just have to make art and cook good meals and listen to music and dress up pretty and hope it will be all worth it to be doing something to distract myself forever

my expression might look neutral and emotionless but fear not ! inside my brain i'm actually imagining my 2 favorite little fictional guys in angsty romantic situations and then yoinkin doinks in richly vivid 4K detail complete with in home theater surround sound

a teaser being released today would've been perfect what a missed opportunity 😭😭
