PJO TV EP 5 SPOILERS
Can we talk for a sec about how SMART GROVER IS??? Like it’s so cool we get scenes that weren’t in the book because percy couldn’t narrate it in his POV!! But Grover is literally a little evil genius and so much smarter than some people reduce him to!!
just a reminder that if pjo gets all five books adapted we might get…
percy having a picture of annabeth in his binder
grover in a wedding dress
annabeth being a lil stalker
TYSON
thalia’s return
clarisse and her undead ship
blackjack
thalia, grover, percy, and annie going to retrieve nico and bianca
“If Annabeth’s mother is Athena, the goddess of wisdom, then why did didn’t Annabeth know better than to fall off a cliff” -Nico
Artemis and Zoe
the dam joke
“I can see the stars, m’lady”
percy and annie holding up the sky
RACHEL and her hair brush
paul blofis
annabeth’s first quest (her own)
the kiss before percy went to calypso’s island
silena and beckendorf :(
“don’t i get a kiss? it’s kind of a tradition” -percy (teehee)

percy and his achilles’s spot/annabeth intercepting the blade
percabeth (my kids fr)
UNDERWATER KISS
“for once i didn’t look back”
It's 2:10 am and here I am with salt water dripping down my eyes :')
I really love how they are focusing on Annabeth’s view of transactional love, because it also strengthens her relationship with Percy. They don’t love each other yet, they don’t even consider each other friends yet, but Percy is willing to protect her in ways her mother- a literal goddess- does.
Not only this, they become friends, and later develop romantic feelings with each other, because Percy legitimately cares about Annabeth, not because she had to earn it. Because Percy is one of the few people, except for Grover, and MAYBE some of the seven, who loves her no matter what.
The reason Spy x family is famous is cuz everyone needed some silly goofy comfort. Also everyone is bisexual
Exactly, EXACTLY. I was so shocked
ok maybe im a bit dumb but as a non american i had never heard of the gateway arch and never bothered to google it,, so while reading the books i was picturing the arc de triomphe in france?? which isnt nearly as high so when watching the show i was like OH I GET IT ITS A BIT DEAL
Maybe i'm wrong, but does anyone else think the breeding of demi gods in PJO is not just a "Oh those gods, so horny they cannot stop themselves from impregnating mortals" thing but also a very fucked up type of survival strategy? Like, a god's strenght often depends on how many people worship them (idk if it's like that in pjo but feel free to correct me), they left their homeland to go to the new heart of western civilization, however they're very much not the main gods worshiped there, so what do they do now? They breed themselves a bunch of half humans that are pretty much obligated to be their believers. It also does nothing to help me put my tinfoil hat down the fact that the gods also canonly use their demi kids as problem solvers
People of Tumblr, please, give me a good romance book rec. I need a stand alone. Reverse grumpy x sunshine, optional. Ooh, or or or. I want to try dark romance, also optional. Pleaseeeeeee
Also accepting toothrotting fluff
Prompt #3
Okay so we all know this:
Hero: I'll save the world even if I have to sacrifice myself.
Villain: I'll burn this world down for you.
But what about this:
Hero 1: I'll save the world even if I have to sacrifice myself.
Hero 2: I'll burn this world down if it meant you're by my side as long as I breathe.
I'm crying like obviously we know Percy's powerful but this show has held back in the fight scenes so him threatening Ares is. SO funny. baby you've got nothing to back that up. you're just a yappy little baby chihuahua right now.
I love that the show is giving Grover so much more screen time and is really diving deeper into his character. Particularly his reaction to his uncle’s death.
In the books, he was a little shocked when he first saw his statue at Medusa’s place but he quickly moved on.
In the show, he was visibly grieving and the first thing he said to Augustus was that his uncle died and he doesn’t know how to talk about it with his friends. Or rather, he doesn’t think they’d understand.
There’s just this clear divide between his perception of the world and Percy and Annabeth’s perception.
