• He would have books lying around EVERY corner of his bedroom. On the bed. On the dressing table. In front of the door. Infront of the window. EVERYWHERE.

• He's also a messy af cook.

• Meaning, that he's an absolute disaster when it comes to baking stuff. With flour in his hair and on his cheek. Accidentally getting baking soda in his eyes. Whipping cream on the counter table. He's just a disaster who doesn't know what clean even means.

MEANWHILE.

• Sirius is the opposite. (HEAR ME OUT)

• He grew up in the noble and most miserable house of black for God's sake. Of course he's a freakishly clean freak. They traumatized him into that.

• And sure. Say whatever you want, that he's rebellious so he'll make a mess. To annoy them or whatever. You're RIGHT. He would. But that would HAUNT him.

• He's been taught to keep everything in order and not a hair out of place. His clothes would be lined up color wise. His books aswell (yes he reads book. You can read books AND be punk rock).

• He would try extremely hard not to get irritated when the other marauders make a mess around him and slowly clean up after them when they're not looking.

• This is one of the things that he carried from grimmauld place.

• the curls?? james potter’s hair is famously wild and uncontrollable, and you’re telling me juhi chawla in the ‘90s with her soft bouncy curls isn’t his mother??? please.

• she’s got that sweet but don’t test me energy. the kind of mum who’ll give you mithai and a flying kiss, then hex your eyebrows off if you insult her son. we have seen it in her roles.

• her eyes are always full of mischief. euphemia isn’t stern—she’s all cleverness and “i know what you’re up to, james.”

and you know she would adopt sirius on sight.

“you look thin, baba. come, eat something. this is your home now.”

She has the perfect blend of mischief, cleverness, fierceness and love.

• he invented potion hair products. you think srk doesn’t have the flair and dramatic chaos for that??

• he def wore flamboyant robes, giving james ridiculous advice like:

“life is like a cauldron, beta. messy, but magical. also, never trust anyone who doesn’t love chole bhathure”

• he is james grown up: flirty, cocky, deeply loyal, endlessly dramatic.

• he’d brag non-stop about james, and secretly cry at every milestone.

and he absolutely welcomes sirius like a second son.

teaching him broom tricks and saying, “we only do mildly insane here, okay?”

You can see it in the picture can’t you? he can be charming and mischievous with his family and stern, respected man but kind for the world.
