With the success of Ghost, Mystery Ben planned several more videos to continue the story and flesh out the characters. This second video is Freaking Out. I’m sure they could all talk out their problems if they all weren’t constantly bobbing their heads to the music. We had to wait for 2½ years for the next one…

“Weird Al” Yankovic is fed up with your misspelled and misused words. It’s not that hard, people. Even on phones, keyboards like Swype make it easy enough to use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. There’s plenty of red pen in this video, but this is the first time since high school that I’ve seen a sentence diagram. I heard this song at RiffTrax Live’s screening of The Room, a legendary bad movie that commits crimes against words, storytelling, logic, anatomy, and football.

You know Bitcoin? The crypto-currency that’s about as fake as real money? It’s apparently big enough that there was a need for an alternative. Liam Butler likes that doge meme so he created dogecoin. He also liked Cool Runnings so he started a fund, Dogesled, to send the Jamaican bobsled team to the 2014 Sochi Olympics. They raised 27 million dogecoins, or $30,000.
I…I couldn’t make this stuff up.
So meme. But money? Much real. Such surprise. Wow.

These girls should be very dead. If I could survive without heat, air, atmospheric pressure, and radiation protection, then I’d wish I could float around in space too. Maybe they can do it because it’s cool, or maybe they’re robots? pixiv Spotlight posts twice a day in English, and this one’s about girls in space.
In a far off place not yet known to us… the cosmos!! Humans have long before wanted to travel through the universe… a very romantic idea! Ever looked up at the sky and just wondered about the Milky Way? Today’s Spotlight is about the fantastically magical cosmos… with girls! Mysterious and awesome, all at the same time. Check them out.
I wondered how I should reblog a pixiv Spotlight. For now, I'll copy the behavior of pixiv Spotlight's RSS feed, with one image that you can click to get to their full post. I hope this is OK. I mean, technically I should be spelling pixiv with a lowercase p and Nanahime as NaNa_HI_ME.

Since the beginning, I’ve been using this blog to improve my communication skills. I push myself to write clear and concise posts like I read on Reuters, TwistedSifter, Tiny Cartridge, and Daily Overview. I use Hemingway when it’s time to edit my thoughts down to a single paragraph. Hemingway highlights any parts that are hard to read so I can make sure the finished post still makes sense.
Hooray for self-demonstrating articles! My title text doesn't have the one paragraph limit and I don't normally run it through Hemingway. I tried Hemingway on this title text and it's Grade 6 (Good). It doesn't like adverbs like "normally".

So I finally updated the site that’s more important than this one. I wrote the site’s first new post since April 2012 about our switch to Unity 2D, our new Games page that includes Thong Girl and my three Ludum Dare games, and the shiny new Bakamo Studios Facebook page. I even posted to our Twitter!
It’s no big secret that I use this blog as a testing ground for things I want to implement on the Bakamo Studios site. The new post cross-posted to Facebook correctly the first time and all seems to have gone well. If you’re interested in games I develop, please subscribe to Bakamo Studios’s RSS feed or like us on Facebook.
This is closer to what a blog should look like. I need to work on it more.

The Ohio State University football team has a 20 game winning streak and is still somehow only 4th in the polls. One thing’s for sure, though. We have the Best Damn Band in the Land.
One of these days, I’ll have to dig up some videos from my band days at Westerville North. Band was awesome.

GameHut is a YouTube channel run by Jon Burton, founder of Traveller’s Tales and producer of Lego games and movies. His series on Coding Secrets dives deep into the Sega Genesis versions of Sonic 3D Blast and Toy Story to explain how he achieved those great graphics. He really used all the resources to do things the hardware was never meant to do.

We don't often see movies from Ghana, but Rockson Emmanuel blesses us with these outrageous trailers that regularly feature at Anime Hell. He's still working on it. Good for him! Get out there and create weird, cool stuff.
I'm questioning if the move to Tumblr last year was a good idea. My feeds are panicking about stuff getting flagged! Tumblr might suffer the same fate as other services Yahoo bought. It's too much work to write the same post on WordPress and Tumblr, and all the linked text is lost on Facebook and Twitter cross-posts anyway.

Rockman 4 Minus Infinity isn’t just the best romhack ever made. It’s superior to the NES Mega Man games in every way. Puresabe just released v1.00 a few days ago, and what it does to Mega Man 4 is ridiculous. This features redesigned stages, bosses, and weapons, tons of new music, autosaves, 8-way scrolling, difficulty options, a time attack, and multiple boss rush modes, and that’s just the start. JDetan and I call this the real Mega Man 4, and the other one just a beta.
It's a romhack, but I actually own a Famicom cartridge of this. It's only version v0.02, same as the video I linked above, but it has that delightful Engrish language setting. "This amplifies cruelty." "Ouch! Stop beating!" "Drills pierces everything." Sadly, this doesn't work on a Retron 5 or any other Famiclone; only a real Famicom can play it.
