Went here last year after visiting Ghrishneshwar Mahadev.
Oh not this again.
You know that Hanuman in Hanuman chalisa has been called "kapi" which means monkey.
Plus how do you explain Hanuman using his tail to burn Lanka? How do you explain Makardhwaj, half-monkey half-crocodile son of Hanuman?
And okay lets assume vanar were humans, then explain Jatayu? Was he a bird or was he human too?
But ofcourse go ahead and question it.
Imagine a Ramayan adaptation where the Vanars are not monkeys...
How'd the public react lol
In 2006, the United States signed arms transfer agreements with Pakistan in excess of $3.5 billion, ranking Pakistan first among all arms clients of the United States during that calendar year. The key elements in Pakistan's arms purchases from the United States were 36 F-16C/D Block 50/52 fighter aircraft for $1.4 billion; a variety of missiles and bombs to be utilized on the F-16 C/D fighter aircraft for over $640 million; the purchase of Mid-Life Update Modification Kits to upgrade Pakistan's F-16A/B aircraft for $890 million; and 115 M109A5 155mm Self-propelled howitzers for $52 million. The rise of Pakistan to its new status as a major arms purchaser from the United States is particularly noteworthy given the difficulties the United States has had with Pakistan since the 1970s over its successful effort to produce nuclear weapons. The total value of Pakistan's 2006 arms purchases from the United States nearly matches the total value of all Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program purchases by Pakistan from the United States for the entire period from FY1950-FY2001 (more than $3.6 billion in current dollars). For the period from calendar year 2005 through calendar year 2008, Pakistan has placed orders with the United States for defense articles and services through the FMS program valued at $4.5 billion.1
It's outrageous and absolutely infuriating that the U.S. handed over more than $3.5 billion worth of deadly weapons to Pakistan—a country with a well-documented history of breeding terrorism, destabilizing the region, and violating every notion of peace. How can a nation that claims to fight terrorism fund and arm the very state that has time and again used such weapons against its own neighbors? This isn’t just hypocrisy—it’s a slap in the face to every nation that’s been a victim of Pakistan-sponsored violence. Strategic interests don’t justify empowering a reckless, dangerous state with F-16s and missiles. It’s not diplomacy; it’s feeding the fire. And then the world expects us to stay calm, to show restraint? Enough. Peace cannot survive in a region where one side is constantly armed to the teeth while the other is told to turn the other cheek.
@mrityuloknative 's thanks for this.
So, men, you need to evaluate how you view women while claiming you're a Hindu.
How can you call yourself a Hindu while calling women names, while making and laughing at gr*pe jokes, while turning a blind eye to assault?
What are you even doing? You chant "Jai Shri Ram" and use the same vocal cords to hurl a slur at a woman you all have collectively demonized. You comment gr*pe threats under a woman's post like you’re above consequences.
And since I mentioned Shri Ram, let me remind you:
He continued to treat Surpanakha with respect, continued addressing her as "devi", even after she expressed her desire to kill Mata Sita so that she gets to marry Shri Ram. Even after she crossed every line of maryada.
You add sanskrit shlokas in your bio, but your comment history drips with filth. You bow at Mata Durga’s feet during Navratri, then talk about women’s bodies in a degrading manner.
This isn’t Hinduism. This is *misogyny wrapped in saffron*.
You're so desperate to not associate with what Islam or other Abrahmic religions stand for. And yet you're an equal part of the misogyny that they perpetuate on women everywhere in India.
Take out some time and really think about it. Are you a true Hindu or is it just for social media?
Are you really ready to fight adharma? Do you not know that for any fight with Adharma you want to win, you'd need the feminine energy on your side, by your side, and at times have them lead you. Our ancient texts, our folklore, our puranas are evidence for it.
Indians who are sympathising rn with the people of Pakistan after India suspended the Indus water treaty are just plain naive. Have you ever questioned Pakistanis as to why they never mob the streets of Pakistan and protest against their government when Pakistan backed terrorists gun down innocent civilians in India? Why they don’t flood the internet with slogans and hashtags saying “not in my name.”? You don’t even understand what being a Pakistani means in this day and age, everytime a Pakistani person buys some product made in that country and pays taxes to their government, they are funding the bullets that hit our men at the borders.
Indians and their soft hearts will never fail in dooming all of us every damned time! The history is rife with lessons but y’all never learn any and make sure we pay for it with everyone’s blood.
Literally has zero personality other than hating on Hinduism. It just shows that it's insecurity.
It is like something I read once. They think they'd be bullied or rejected for being a Hindu so they choose to do this. If that is the case with leftists/seculars, then they can't really call themselves that.
Today is Makar Sankranti, Sun enters the sign of Capricorn(Makar) today. And Sun begins its northward journey called Uttarayan, indicating warmer days are ahead.
In Awadh and Uttar Pradesh, we celebrate Makar Sankranti as Khichdi Parv. We prepare it with freshly harvested rice, adding some urad daal and sesame seeds, along with some seasonal veggies like cauliflower, peas, carrots and pepper.
Join me as I explore more about Awadhi culture, language, and traditions through Awadh ke Maati.
How did you celebrate Makar Sankranti today? Share your stories and let's celebrate together.
