A thousand year old Mosque called Masjid Al-Asqa was also burning in Jerusalem at the same time btw. Watching all these old heritage buildings burn feels eerily like the end of the world
Like people are spreading misinformation about Norte Dame fire as it’s not burned down and only the roof was damaged. I hope y’all put all this energy into protecting and uplifting communities who might become backlash victims from all the anti Semitic and Islamaphobic conspiracy theories. Like I’m astonished at the amount of empathy y’all can have for buildings but not people.
I feel like she won't release an album so close after Reputation. She usually takes her sweet time. And the going on the road in less than year is so stressful. It's probably a single.
The entire fandom right now:
Scorpio. Good at both.
fuck every other personality test, reblog this with your sign and whether you were better at algebra or geometry
“As workers, most men in our culture (like working women) are controlled, dominated. Unlike working women, working men are fed daily a fantasy diet of male supremacy and power. In actuality, they have very little power, and they know it. Yet they do not rebel against the economic order or make revolution. They are socialized by ruling powers to accept their dehumanization and exploitation in the public world of work, and they are taught to expect that the private world, the world of home and intimate relationships, will restore to them their sense of power, which they equate with masculinity. They are taught that they will be able to rule in the home, to control and dominate, that this is the big payoff for their acceptance of an exploitative economic social order. By condoning and perpetuating male domination of women to prevent rebellion on the job, ruling male capitalists ensure that male violence will be expressed in the home and not in the work force.”

Same here. As long as the show doesn't become stupid, I am open to all possibilities.
Nick Scratch went to the bottom of the ocean to retrieve Sabrina’s father’s manifesto and I can’t even get a text back?? What kinda bull-
Brie Larson making sure a young girl had the chance to ask a question at the Avengers: Endgame press conference. (x)
You're so close, yet so far apart;
That bridge is the horizon of where ends meet and freedom starts,
Evenings eclipse in paper prints and coffee stains,
Rummaged bones and tiredness, crumbs of hardwork remain.
Headphones on, travelling long,
Rattling compartments - their church sermons.
Curated photos and thumb talks;
What could possibly go wrong?
Love materialises for fifteen minutes,
With renaissance sighs, for swollen lips.
Tokens of promises billed under "Laters, darling",
Lingering aftertaste of rubber burning.
Neon lights and clichéd fantasies -
Honestly, they're just trying to get on with it.
Youthful thought, is this what marks the young heart?
You're so close, yet so far apart.
Can someone tell me how to help LGBTQ people in Brunei without just telling me to boycott luxury hotels I already don’t go to??
Ben and Kent are the jewels.
I am binge watching Veep now and it's hilarious how the high ended ppl get mixed up with Selina and start becoming more humanly stupid and weird like Kent and Erickson.

Supernatural is ending. I don't have any feelings about it right now but when the last episode come out, it will be like taking a bullet to my heart.
Supernatural is the first fandom I got into. Sam and Dean were my first TV show love. I was introduced to this show through my best friend who I have become lot closer to since six years ago. So thank you to Supernatural and everyone who worked in it. I am looking forward to new characters Jensen and Jared and Misha will take on in the future.
I feel like this is a whole Asian culture thing. My dad and I argue on this all the time and he doesn't get it.
I’m not saying he would win, but like….I get it
You guys it's Holi here in India so double the festivities!
A quick reminder because I very nearly forgot myself, but house pride week is coming up y’all
House pride week is just a fun chance to show off your love for your hogwarts house and the parts of your personality it represents so it’d be great to get lots of people involved by:
wearing your house colours
sharing your art
posting love for your fellow house members
or anything else you fancy
If you want to get involved, use the relevant #housepride tag (e.g. #slytherinpride) and I’ll be sharing people’s selfies, art, etc for a celebration of each of the houses on the relevant blog
(and yes I’ll try and post a reminder the day before so we don’t forget haha)
Hasan singing "tum pass Aaye" added ten years to my life and cleared my skin.
And we still keep feeling that 72 years later.
in this last episode of patriot act when hasan was like “INDIA WON, NO PAKISTAN WON, NO INDIA WON. i’m like ‘nah dude. the british won.’” I FELT THAT IN MY BONES
During this terrifying time of seeing the rise of alt-right terrorism, we must all channel the courageous spirit of that teen who egged Fraser Anning’s ugly racist noggin.
You fucking legend. Keep up the good work.
I want to live my life the way Villanelle lives in Killing Eve. She lives in Paris, in a wonderful apartment with some really fashionable clothes. She is ferally Bi and gets off killing people. That's the dream life baby.

I need honest reviews about Captain Marvel. I am gonna go watch it anyway but still.
Nolite Te Bastardes Carborundum.
Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaid's Tale".
Today is International Women’s Day. And while it is a day to celebrate women and their achievements, this day started as a protest, and it’s important to remember that.
To remember why we need an IWD.
For all the women who have died because they didn’t have access to contraception, or abortion, or medical care.
For all the women who live without access to sanitary products, because they can’t afford them or they’re not available or for cultural reasons.
For the women who are raped for trying to escape war, as payment or as punishment.
For the women who are abused and told their word means nothing, their experiences mean nothing, their lives are worth less than their attackers’.
For the women who, rather than facing a pay gap, are not allowed to work at all, or to drive a car, or to own a home.
For the women who are little more than property, cattle, who cannot make their own choices or live their own lives.
For the girls who are killed before they are born, or as babies, because they had the misfortune to be born without a penis.
For the women who had their children stolen away from them, and were never given anything back.
For the women unfairly imprisoned.
For the women told they’re not woman enough to be counted a woman, for trans women who don’t fit gender stereotypes, who don’t pass, and for those who do.
The women who have a voice, white women in western countries - it’s our job to speak up for those who can’t be heard. Today is a day for protest, not for muffins and ribbons and empty promises from men in power.
Men of the world need to be more like Jake Peralta
