DO NOT DO THIS!!!
If a website has a paywall, like New York Times, DO NOT use the ctrl+A shortcut then the ctrl+c shortcut as fast as you can because then you may accidentally copy the entire article before the paywall comes up. And definitely don't do ctrl+v into the next google doc or whatever you open because then you will accidentally paste the entire article into a google doc or something!!!! I repeat DO NOT do this because it is piracy which is absolutely totally wrong!!!

Muriel bjd campaign ends tomorrow, 10/5!
Good morning! I wanted to share the project update from my Muriel bjd Kickstarter here in case any of you all are following along!
The campaign is coming to a close. I saw a few people had added multiple Muriels and, with all the color options available, I thought I'd increase the add-on quantity from 2 to 3 for the doll categories. Each doll add-on should have a maximum quantity of 3 now, so if you have been wanting to add an extra doll or two, you can! This way, you can get CMYK if you want (or any other color combo).
I've been printing my first official Muriel dolls. First, I'll finish printing the mini I'm working on, and then I will do a big version testing the other dye type. I plan to use these two as my instructional video Muriels for the kits! We'll go through assembly on each one and I'll show it using common household tools (with the option of some other things you can buy to make it faster/easier). Hopefully this will make it more accessible for those of you who aren't experienced in ball-jointed dolls (but are about to be...lol)
I thought I'd share some art of Muriel here, as some of you probably haven't seen it. It's fun looking back on these drawings and seeing how she and her misprints evolved.
Please let me know if you have any questions before the campaign ends! I will still be updating here after the campaign ends and sharing progress photos of the dolls; expect some fun printer build plate photos and lots of fun colors (unless yall order the same thing… lol).

11 days to go!
There are 11 days left for my Muriel Kickstarter! Things have been relatively quiet lately but I have made some more photo mock-ups of the different color options to use for the backer surveys. That way, people can more easily compare the color choices when it's the same edited photo.
I posted an update yesterday with more photos and a picture of the magnets; take a look if you want!

It's very unproductive to sit around waiting for people to guess what you want from them just to then get upset when they don't guess it.
If you care a lot about your birthday being celebrated, let your friends know that it's happening a couple weeks in advance and make it clear that you would like to plan something fun with them.
If you want your friends to gush about your latest achievement, make sure to let them all know that you did this or that cool thing.
If someone's joke is hurting your feelings, you can and should go "hey, could you please not joke about my appearance? It's a bit hurtful and I'd rather you went at something else."
If you miss someone, don't be afraid to reach out and let them know you'd love to catch up with them when they have the time!
If you're upset about something, try to have a constructive conversation about it instead of holding a grudge in silence.
You will get so much further if you make a serious attempt to exchange hints and grudges with conversation and communication!

Muriel Magnet Time
Fresh off the printer are some Muriel head magnets! Cyan and Magenta have been blushed and I plan to do the blushing for Yellow and Key tonight.
These are a reward tier and an add-on in my Kickstarter! (please note the magnet add-on tier does include two magnets like the regular reward tier but doesn't say so in the description; I can't edit it lol).
New Muriel Colors Unlocked!
I have made some more examples of the stretch goal colors! They are called Grapefruit, Mulberry, and Lime.
These will be available for any of the dolls (both kit and assembled).
My Muriel ball-jointed doll Kickstarter runs till October 5th! You can support the project here. This is the only time I'm planning to sell these online.
