For context, this was a thought spiral I had about people hating the star wars sequel trilogy. Saying it's a plot knock off of the og3 but with 'woke', when the point is exactly to repeat the plot. It's literally history repeating itself. I thought that was obvious.

When people hate on modern remakes of old shows and movies, that now have female/queer/poc/disability representation, it always blows my mind that that's the thing you choose to focus on. Especially when the show has always had a political message that you just missed and now you blame 'wokeism' for pointing it out by using minority groups.

Cause for me that's the best way to prevent the erasure of classical literature and media. Like, we still have facism and racism and horrible workers rights and a high cost of living, but we also happen to have iphones.

There's a fake article doing the rounds, of Prost supposedly saying norris is useless, and I so badly wish it was true but alas. Also people should really know better on what is real/fake.
