I like men in the same way I like when people smoke. So cool, so aesthetic, so badass, but if you come near me I'll kill you or myself.
I'm already giddy about tomorrow's start. Cause who is lando gonna cover, Max or Oscar? Either way, it's gonna be a fight!
I want a grill the grid ep where they are doing would you rather BUT the questions are personalised for each driver.
ask charles: would you rather have childhood friend, pierre gasly, OR childhood rival, max verstappen, as a teammate.
ask max: would you rather apologise to stroll for calling him a slur OR apologise to ocon for pushing him after their incident.
ask lewis: would you rather have a shit car and a good teammate e.g. george, valterri etc. OR have a great car but have nico be your teammate again.
I'm thinking of more! I think this would be a good type of chaos. Like I can definitely imagine their reactions.
Very george response to the penalty and darth toto coming in to assure george, daddy isn't mad.
I think Yuki can break the curse of the redbull seat since he falls in the commonality of redbull drivers that have won. Successful redbull drivers need atleast 1 of 3 things:
1. Have a single digit racing number. (Seb, Danny, Max)
2. Have a two digit number that is a double/repetition. (Max, Checo)
3. Be Australian. (Webber, Danny)
Yuki is no. 22
when I just got into F1 I was really confused when people said forza ferrari. I just thought we were imitating italians saying "for the ferrari" in english
I know I lose my shit everytime quali goes bad for max, but the result is always the best fucking racing we've every seen.
Is this the first time Max's teammate will be younger than him? Cause I'm excited for the dynamics of Max having to parent yet another grid child.
The thing is... mental health has always been a problem in sports, especially in such an elite sport as f1. Drivers suffer and cope in different ways and it's important to bring attention to the fact that they are people and can see online hate etc.
But it's funny how no one cared about it untill norris. (he is 100% valid in his experience and emotions, and I'm glad hes talking about it) but THE FANS never actually gave a shit before.
For years jokes (and assumptions) have been made about verstappen's childhood and relationship with kelly in a very negative way, and no one gave a shit.
Hamilton has been the butt of homophobic and racist jokes for years, and no one gave a shit. Checo, Zhou, Albon and Tsunoda have all been subjected to the racism of this sport and its fans.
Leclerc has faced loss in the most devastating way and had to share that with the world, and no one gave a shit. Gasly and Ocon both lost a friend and had to see it be used as a media piece again and again.
Sargeant's treatment from williams was absolutely disgusting, not the firing part, the shit vowles said and how he was treated in general.
Past drivers like rosberg, button, webber have said how they struggled with the pressure. This is still relevant to current drivers.
The weight limit the drivers have to adhere to adding to disordered eating and definitely body image issues. Still fucking relevant.
SO... if we are gonna talk drivers' mental health, it's gotta be as whole. Fans can't pick and choose when mental health issues are relevant to a driver's performance or not. And it does not excuse bad behaviour on or off track.
This is coming from a genuine place, as I have been struggling with depression and anxiety for years. We as fans have a responsibility to also make the sport safe and enjoyable for drivers and fans alike.
