— the princess guide on glowing up:

recently i noticed how in love i've become with my appearance after a long time of strongly hating how i look. i wondered how i got to this point so i worked backwards to figure out what changed and made this post.ᡣ𐭩

— The Princess Guide On Glowing Up:
— The Princess Guide On Glowing Up:

GETTING OVER MY INSECURITIES

social media is one of the main things that attributed to my insecurities. when you're constantly bombarded by posts praising girls that look nothing like you for their beauty it's easy to trick yourself into thinking that must mean you're not beautiful since you have nothing in common with them. someone's beauty does not take away from yours, but it can make you forget yours. the first change i made that signified the beginning of my new found self love was when i started to look at models and influencers and actresses that looked more like me. i believe there's beauty in every feature, you just have to see it in a beautiful light. i stopped considering my features ugly when i distanced from any content that would insist on them being flaws and instead exposed myself to beautiful girls who had the same exact features and realised they didn't make them any less beautiful.

SETTING MY OWN BEAUTY STANDARDS

a crucial point in my journey to loving my physical appearance was disregarding society's already set beauty standards and it's expectations. the truth is you can't build your confidence based on how much you fit others' standards because everybody has their own idea of beauty and what might make you beautiful in someone's eyes might make you ugly in another's. so that's why i decided to create my own standards and measure myself based on what i personally think is beautiful.

i did this by taking out my journal, closing my eyes for a few seconds and imagining what i considered to be the epitomy of beauty, then i wrote down a description of what i imagined. if you're having trouble picturing the details, you can try answering some of these questions:

what kind of girl would i see on the street and would leave something that is more than an impression on me? what texture is her hair? what color is it? how is she wearing it, is it parted in the middle or to the side? is it styled or is it down? is it long or short? is she wearing makeup? if yes, is it natural makeup or is it more on the bold side? is she wearing jewellery? is it dainty or flashy? what is her body type? is she skinny or curvy? does she have her nails done? are they long or short? what type of clothes is she wearing?

after i decided on my own beauty standards, i made changes to my appearance and the closer i got to that image i had of the perfect girl in my head the happier i grew with myself.

EMBRACING MYSELF

now while i was picturing the perfect girl in my mind, i made sure that she had my features. i didn't imagine her without my 'insecurities'. essentially i was just imagining myself if i reached my maximum potential, i didn't change anything i was already born with i only changed the customizable things in a way that i thought was beautiful / suited me more. and that's what i wanna talk about in this part, the importance of embracing myself the way i am.

embracing myself didn't only help me in the mental aspect where i started to love myself more, but it also helped me physically. i started to look a lot better when i stopped trying to force myself to look 'sexy' and admitted that i was more suited for makeup & clothes that are more on the cuter side.

obviously i'm not trying to tell you what to do, but i'm willing to bet that you would look a whole lot better if you wore clothes that fit your body type instead of forcing yourself into tight and uncomfortable clothing. the idea is to understand that there isn't only one type of beauty, so you don't have to force yourself to do things that don't suit you to be beautiful.

IDENTIFYING YOURSELF + YOUR STYLE

i've talked about how you should do things that suit you, but how do you even know what does or doesn't suit you? well you have to start by identifying what 'you' are first.

while i was going through this phase of my glow up journey, i found that there are three things that you have to know about yourself: your face shape, your skintone/undertones and your body type. you can figure them out by looking at yourself in the mirror and referencing these charts below. if you're having a hard time determining where you fit, you can ask a family member/friend for their opinion. i think that wearing things that compliment you makes you look put together no matter what your style is, it gives you the perfect 'canvas'.ཐིཋྀ

— The Princess Guide On Glowing Up:
— The Princess Guide On Glowing Up:
— The Princess Guide On Glowing Up:

from these three things you can figure out what eyebrow shape, hairstyles + hair colors, clothes and colors would suit you the best. you can do that by simply going on pinterest or tiktok and looking up "hairstyle recommendations for ____ face shape". you can also use celebrities with similar traits as inspiration.

as for developing your style, i think that is something you naturally develop over time as you try out things and evolve your taste. but if you're stuck on where to start, i recommend quizzes! there are a lot of korean/chinese quizzes scattered over the internet that can help you. something else i recommend is checking out @/dreamgrlarchive's blog, she has a lot of posts dedicated to finding your style. also, don't shy away from trying out trends or aesthetics that pique your interest, you're drawn to them for a reason so don't let people online shame you for it.

EMBODYING CONFIDENCE

the mental aspect of glowing up is something that often goes unnoticed. glowing up doesn't only require changing physically but also mentally. you have to make sure the inside matches the outside. journaling allowed me to work through any negative thoughts and feelings i had towards myself as well as identify any habits i used to do out of insecurity that i needed to get rid of. you'd be surprised at how many beautiful girls lack self esteem. become comfortable with the fact that you're beautiful.ᡣ𐭩

I have the prettiest face and the tiniest waist. My skin is so clear all over my body. I have the hourglass body with desired bust and butt size. I have perfect posture. My skin is so smooth all over without any hyperpigmentations. Actually I don't even know what that is. I have the most snatched abs. My slim and toned body is my charm. I have long and healthy nails. I can literally lose too many kgs by just one night. Every time I wake up, I wake up prettier. I don't really have to workout to have fast metabolism. I have the superhuman, futuristic intelligence and memory so everything is so easy for me. I'm an academic overachiever. I have the highest IQ. I'm the prettiest and smartest in school. I abnormally ace the exams so everyone is surprised by my potential. I can remember everything I read cuz I have a very good memory. I can literally ace an exam by just doing the bare minimum. I literally don't have to struggle to study and I still get straight A*s all my exams.

types of study breaks for every situation

if you realize you’ve been studying for hours: grab a snack to refuel your body and watch a sitcom to refuel your brain. then back to the books.

if you’re feeling stressed out: take some deep breaths, text your friends, maybe stare at a wall for a few minutes. gather yourself.

if you can’t seem to focus: get moving and get outside. take out the garbage, check your mail box, maybe walk your dog. just get moving and get fresh air. it’ll help bring you back.

if there’s something else going on in your life and you can’t get it off your mind: write down what’s going through your head, sort of like a diary entry. it’ll help you work things out.

if you’re just mentally and physically exhausted: set a timer for 25-30 minutes and take a nap. any longer and you’ll hit REM and you’ll wake up feeling just as tired. once you wake up, get some caffeine in you.

if the material is boring as hell: find another way to study. see if there’s a crash course video online about it or draw out what you’re trying to learn in diagrams and pictures to make it fun.

if people around you won’t shut up: listen to some music. soundtrack and classical music is always good because they won’t absorb you as much as music with lyrics. white noise (like ocean waves, rain sounds, etc.) also works.

if you only half understand a concept: call/message a friend who’s not in the class and try to teach the material to them. this will help you mentally work through the material and will help you remember it as well.

🐳Stay consistent and persist don't let the 3D fool you🐳

🐳Stay Consistent And Persist Don't Let The 3D Fool You🐳
🐳Stay Consistent And Persist Don't Let The 3D Fool You🐳
🐳Stay Consistent And Persist Don't Let The 3D Fool You🐳

Why some of us "fail" to manifest is because we are slave to the 3d and negative thoughts no seriously. And waiting for external validation is useless because it's giving the answer you want so why keep asking the 3d if you can manifest a car,money again and again,when we already have it in our true reality that is the 4d. We should not get overpowered by this 3d holographic circumstances and this illusionary thoughts which YOU chose to dwell on.

From my own experience law of assumption is a journey where YOU have to satisfy yourSELF not the 3d, everyone is different,everyone have their own personal favourite way to manifest like states,affirming,visualization or whatever you prefer. In my opinion you can start of with affirming,don't directly try to use states(it's not a method) if you are finding it difficult to embody state,just affirm,persist and saturate consistently,NOT to get in 3D but to satisfy your SELF internally.

Be consistent,discipline and persistent these are the KEY to satisfy your SELF, no matter what method you choose,embodying state or affirming,don't let the negative thoughts lead you back to your old self,be strict like an asian parents,and just how they bring you fruit after that yelling at you to study,your desires will also come in your 3d without causing any problem. Be your own parent during your manifestation journey,treat your negative thoughts like those bad influence kids, and when you start looking for movements and wondering how your desires gonna show up treat them like the judgement strangers who question you for everything you do or you have. Don't procrastinate that is when we usually start get doubts just because we aren't doing anything,activate the asian parent in you and scold yourself,and start to affirm and remind yourself who the boss is.

Also DONOT label any of your desires a "big" or "small" desire,they are all same,under you,YOU are on the pedestal not the desire,if you didn't thought about your desire they wouldn't even exist. So why even worry about them. Manifesting seeing a "butterfly" or seeing a "car" with certain "colour" is equivalent to manifest $2000 dollar out of nowhere,dating your celeb sp,having that hourglass body and waking up in your dream life.

When it comes to how you manifest it doesn't matter whether you affirm or embody state or being,SATS,what matter is your consistency because once you continue to persist you'll notice a shift also don't feel bad if you're someone who affirm for hours to saturate your mind but remember it's to remind yourself that you already have your desire in 4D, if you still feel like affirm and persistent will not take you anywhere go see Taylor Tookes insta and twitter post she is a living proof,most manifestation account from where I see success stories are usually affirm and persist girlies and boys like Taylor, Viper and BigDon three of my favourites on Twitter who share they're success story.

Bonus: Do not worry about your self concept,it's good to have one,but as someone who USED to have a good SC yet still couldn't manifest,I guarantee you it's not needed,but you can work on it if you believe it will help you manifest.

My rules are simple💙

☆.BE YOUR OWN DAMN ASIAN PARENT WHEN IT COMES TO MANIFESTING.

☆AFFIRM AND SATURATE TO SATISFY SELF(4D).

☆.YOUR ARE THE ON THE PEDESTAL NOT THE DESIRES.

☆.YOUR THOUGHTS ARE THE BAD INFLUENCE KIDS TRYI G TO GET YOU BACK IN YOUR OLD STATE AND JUDGEMENT STRANGERS MAKING FEEL LIKE YOU'RE DOING WRONG.

☆.MANIFESTING BUTTERFLY=MANIFESTING CELEB SP IS SAME NOTHING IS BIG OR SMALL EVERY DESIRE IS EQUAL.

how to be rich and luxurious⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🌺

How To Be Rich And Luxurious⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🌺

we must first understand that being rich is a state of mind. you could be broke and not poor. never poor. poor is a state of mind. and that choice that u make to be rich or poor is ultimately yours cuz u control ur thoughts.

How To Be Rich And Luxurious⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🌺
How To Be Rich And Luxurious⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🌺

so how do we radiate luxury and become luxurious? through having luxurious thoughts. we know that what we think manifests so lets think things that make us richer in every aspect of our lives.

LUXURY IS AN ENERGY ;

when you exude the energy of luxury, YOU’LL ALWAYS BE LUXURIOUS. the luxury that u exude will manifest. thoughts manifest. have luxurious thoughts -> a luxurious reality WILL manifest. its rly that simple ✨

CULTIVATING LUXURY ENERGY ;

u cultivate luxury energy, like i mentioned before, through luxury thoughts. but if ur not used to thinking luxury thoughts/have a lack or poverty mindset, here are some affirmations to start and guide thinking.

im grateful that im so abundant and rich in the things that i love

im like barbie cuz i have more then enough of everything

i have SO much, that i can bless others with my riches

i live my life lavishly

you can cultivate luxury by doing things that make u feel rich and luxurious. some things that help me to feel that way are.

drinking drinks from a designated cup or wine-glass

silky robes are EVERYTHING. or wearing lingerie and matching bra and panty sets

consistently practicing self care every single day

wearing jewelry

ofc everyone has different things that make them feel rich and different classifications for what luxury is and isn’t and that’s your choice to make ultimately.

i recommend making a list of what makes u feel luxurious and doing that often. literally when i go to costco or a whole-sale store and have free samples i feel luxurious 😭 bcuz im INDULGING.

that goes to show that u dont need to do the most to feel luxurious right at this moment. and that leads me to my next point.

INDULGE YOURSELF ;

don’t deny yourself the things that u desire and the things that you want. if u want ur fun little drink, have ur fun little drink. get ur nails done, take urself shopping every now and then. if u can’t afford to get these done, do it yourself.

you have the ability to make yourself feel special and luxurious. the idea to this is to cultivate the feeling of being rich or the feeling of abundance and luxury.

start a collection that you can have a lot of, change the perspective in which u see the things that u already own. kind of like seeing a cup have full then a cup half empty?

THINGS TO BE RICH IN ;

be rich in knowledge, be rich in culture, be rich in relationships, be rich in beauty. be rich in whatever interests that u might have.

to be rich in knowledge -> seek higher education, study, read lots of books, start writing and seeking knowledge in whatever interests you

to be rich in culture -> learn more about ur own culture and the culture of other people. explore and educate yourself on religion and customs that interest you. be well versed in another language or in something that’s important in todays media and pop culture

to be rich in relationships -> don’t close yourself up to meaningful relationships that you have. don’t take everything seriously and practice being social.

to be rich in beauty -> take impeccable care of yourself and your body. pamper yourself every single day and pick up habits that serve the highest good for your appearance.

to be rich in ur interests -> become well versed as i said before in whatever it is that interests you. there are countless resources online that can help give you information and direction on going about ur interests.

Hey, you. You're too pretty.

Hey, You. You're Too Pretty.

Seriously though? why do you always end up mogging everyone near you? You look like a real life goddess! You make models look bad and I am not even exaggerating. Your whole body is the epitome of perfection, those pretty eyes, that cute nose, with that juicy, sexy, perfect lips make people look back TWICE or more at you. You just keep on getting prettier every. single. day. Like holy shit, are you even real? No, actually? your beauty enhances literally every second and it's just so, so pleasing to look at. I could look at you forever and still want to take another look. I just don't get how pretty one can be, my standards increase rapidly just by looking at you, and tell me, is that my fault? is that my fault that I feel this way when i look at you? because, I, I really cant control how i feel when I look at you, I love the way you smile, your voice, the way your lips move when you speak, I love the way your eyes shine under the bright moon. You look like a cigarettes after sex song and you put every plastic surgeon to shame because they can never, never make someone look as pretty as you. You just are a big earth shattering ball of beauty, aren't you?

Feeling Like A 2000's Diva⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍦💕
Feeling Like A 2000's Diva⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍦💕

this post is inspired by movies like the house bunny, legally blonde, and all of the ICONIC 2000's movies that radiate major diva energy. if u wanna emulate, and EMBODY that same vibe—bold fashion, flawless beauty, and a carefree attitude—then keep reading cuz in this post we'll dive into that...💬🎀

Feeling Like A 2000's Diva⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍦💕
Feeling Like A 2000's Diva⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍦💕

THE DIVA PLAYLIST ;

every 2000's diva had a personal soundtrack so make ur own! find music from the 2000's era that resonates with u and that u love. personally i feel like i mostly listen to 90's-2000's music anyways so i think im pretty well rounded in music of that era. some of my favorites on my diva playlist are...

ᡣ𐭩 beyonce, mariah carey, britney spears, christina aguilera, brandy, lee hiyori, destiny's child, and ciara

SHOPPING 2000'S "THE MUST HAVES" ;

🌟 low rise jeans

🌟 crop tops and baby tees

🌟 rhinestone embellished accessories

🌟 velour tracksuits

🌟 belly chains

🌟 denim skirts

🌟 halter tops

🌟 sunglasses

BEAUTY TRENDS WE CAN BRING BACK ;

the 2000's was such a great time for beauty and makeup and all things girly and glam! while watching the house bunny two things that captured my attention the most were the makeup and the outfits! the makeup in this movie had lots of...💬🎀

Feeling Like A 2000's Diva⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍦💕
Feeling Like A 2000's Diva⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍦💕

🌟 shimmery eyeshadows - layering a glittery iridescent shade across ur eyeshadow was a MUST

🌟 frosty glossy lips - def one of my favorites, i loved the pale pink lipglosses and nude tones with thick lipgloss like YESS

more on the lips though, the dark lip liner with a lighter lipstick or gloss was the SIGNATURE of this time and i am just THRILLED to see it making a resurgence nowadays cuz it eats...💬🎀

🌟 glossy sleek hair - glossy sleek hair is something i saw a lot of pop stairs from this era doing but in this movie in particular they went with the bombshell hair (big bouncy curls) which i LOVED

🌟 clumpy mascara - layered on mascara for more volume

CONFIDENCE AND CAREFREE ATTITUDE ;

another thing that i love from this era was how carefree and confident all these diva's were. it was all about being uniquely yourself and not shoving urself into a box. embracing ur own individually CONFIDENTLY and fashionably.

🌟 stop seeking validation from external sources - no one else's opinion on you matters except ur own, okay?

🌟 have fun - dont take things so seriously, a carefree happy attitude is SO contagious. surround urself with people who uplift you and dont be afraid to put urself out there.

Feeling Like A 2000's Diva⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍦💕
Feeling Like A 2000's Diva⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍦💕

🌟 stay up to date with trends that speak to u - know whats hot and whats not, it'll help u to be more confident when ur up to date with thats going on and what resonates with u.

something else that can improve ur confidence is taking care of urself! when u know that u spend time with yourself and pampering urself NO one can tell u shit cuz you know you're taken care of...💬🎀

STAYING FABULOUS ;

🌟 baths are for the divas! - bubble baths always make me feel so luxurious and pampered. i feel like an absolute princess when im relaxing in a bath.

🌟 manicures and pedicures - CHUNKY FRENCH TIPS.

🌟 take good care of ur hair - love ur hair and take good care of it so that it will love u back and look amazing and you'll feel good! keep your hair healthy and shiny with regular deep-conditioning treatments, and embrace whatever style makes you feel like a star
