hello robin
You CANNOT leave these tags out of this they're so funny oh my god
@ghostdoctor Ive always thought that Monoma and Aoyama have the MADDEST beef with each other bc of their shared frenchness
or like since Aoyama isnt canonly French (said by his classmates ie "dude ur not even french") monoma just gives him shit for it all the time.
Is there a mlp fandom on tumblr
Ayo ayo!! Today I bring to you another specimen to dissect with me :) Today? We're talking about One for all/All for one!
Canon showcases that you cannot have more than one quirk in your body without it causing some form of harm to you mentally/physically. This is showcased with the Nomus (there is probably some addition I'm missing to this seeing as I'm an anime only with the occasional spoiler thrown in there but for now this is all based on the anime). Nomus have more than one quirk -forcefully-and are barely capable of critical thinking/other qualities that separate [humans] from non-humans. This is due to the fact that they all had more than one quirk forced into them.
Now, how does this relate to One for all and All for one? Both of those quirks are quirks that give the user the ability to have more than one quirk at once. For All for one its the fact that the user can take multiple quirks and for One for all its the fact that the user can use other peoples quirks. Both quirks give the user more than one quirk than they were born with.
With the aforementioned fact that having more than one quirk forced into your body, All for one and One for all realistically should cause some form of brain damage.
TLDR: One for all and All for one should cause the user brain damage due to the fact that canon states that having more than one quirk forced into your body causes the user to revert to their animal brain.
sanji moodboard but it's just him having the mental stability of a stray wet cat
How did you get into Monodeku? Like, how'd you discover the ship? For me it was the fic better luck next time.
Better luck next time is SO GOOD UGH I think I've been through the entire midoriya/monoma and midoriya&monoma AO3 tags like 200 times
But!! I got into into monodeku through lovespelts (on Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr) art<3
They only have one (that I know of) piece of art of them but I saw it inn 2021 and I fell in LOVEE with them!!
If I remember right though allll the way back in like 2018 I saw monoma as a part of a random dekubowl post and I was like "huh they're kinda cute I guess" that was my first exposure to them!
Tysm for the ask<33 I love getting them so much
This analysis is actually gonna be on a ship! It's Celeste x Byakuya and Money Money Money by Abba! With that out of the way let's get into the analysis!
The first stanza “I work all night, I work all day, To pay the bills I have to pay, Ain't it sad? And still there never seems to be, A single penny left for me, That's too bad” is a line that represents Celeste. It being a reference to that fact that no matter how lucky Celeste is with gambling she’ll never have enough money to achieve her dreams. The following lines (‘In my dreams I have a plan, If I got me a wealthy man, I wouldn't have to work at all, I'd fool around and have a ball”) is a line to me that represents Celeste being in love with Byakuya and how he has all she could ever want.
The chorus, “Money, money, money, Must be funny, In the rich man's world, Money, money, money, Always sunny, In the rich man's world” to me isn’t so much a line to dissect to describe the relation between Celeste and Byakuya but is instead a line that represents how Celeste would behave around Byakuya (ex. The line that was mentioned could be a Celeste lovingly mocking Byakuya). The following line/second half of the chorus represents Celeste's’ dream and how with Byakuya's help she could achieve that.
The second verse, “A man like that is hard to find, But I can't get him off my mind, Ain't it sad? And if he happens to be free, I bet he wouldn't fancy me, That's too bad” is a line that shows how Celeste believes that Byakuya wouldn’t have an interest in her. The first half of the line (“A man like that is hard to find, But I can't get him off my mind, Ain't it sad?”) showcases how Byakuya is always on Celeste's mind.
The final line (that isn’t the chorus repeated) “So I must leave, I'll have to go, To Las Vegas or Monaco, And win a fortune in a game, My life will never be the same” is a line that represents again, how Celeste gambles for her fortune and that she would rather choose to continue gamboling and leave her feelings behind then deal with them.
I somehow came across your blog and it was a blast from the past! I used to be one of the original Monodeku fic writers (I think I unironically posted the first or second fic focused exclusively on them) and it’s so nice to see people who still like them! :D I haven’t been into BNHA in foreveeeer, I hope Monoma has gotten more screentime since then
I smiled sm when I read this!! Being noticed by one of the first monodeku ao3 authors is so fun!!
Monodeku is probably my favorite bnha ship <3 they're actually what got me to start posting on Tumblr!
I've read through their tag on AO3 so many times and all of the fics are good! Honestly I just think anything with monodeku is brilliant :)
And Monoma HAS gotten so much more screentime! Still not as much as I would like (I love monoma so much.) But he got a whole backstory scene and he plays a big part in more recent things!!
