childe doesn't mind bubble baths, it's just that he's busy all the time and not at home because of his job. however, if he hears that you're having a bad day and in need of a self-care bubble bath, he's there at your service right away!

... but it's chaotic, that's for sure

there's no promise that you won't get soap in your eyes, and the water may or may not splash out of the bath tub, but childe's laughter and cheeriness makes up for everything

he tries anything he can to bring a smile to your face: giving himself a beard with soapy bubbles (and pouting when you say he can't grown one of his own), jokingly shaking the water droplets out of his hair everywhere to make you yelp in surprise, and taking some bubbles and putting it on the tip of your nose to call you rudolph. (yk, the red nose reindeer)

he will keep talking if you want something to fill in the silence. his whole goal is to distract you from any negativity and cheer you up in the meantime anyway (he also attempts to make animals shapes out of bubbles to impress you, but ends up failing every time)

if you let him, childe would love to hold your elbows in the palms of his hands to see if you have any scars on your arms. if you don't have any, he ends up just putting bubbles all over your arms and drawing random things out of them. if you do have scars on your arms, however, he kisses them all even if there are bubbles on them and just gives you a sweet goofy smile afterwards :'(

throws bubbles onto the bathroom wall to be a nuisance and to make you lightly scold him; seeing you sad makes him sad too, so just hearing you raise your voice a little bit in a not serious scold makes him happy! (even if that sounds weird in a way)

childe definitely steps out of the bathtub first to hold out your towel and give you big warm hug when you step into his embrace

he also demands offers to dry your hair and/or just yourself in general, and rushes to prepare all your clothes for you if it wasn't prepared already

but he also says that you guys don't have to dry yourselves off and just get a cold the next day... then he'll get to skip work and stay at home with you all day, right?

his joke earns him a playful flick to the forehead (well, if you can reach it)

all in all, the best person to take a bubble bath with after having a stressful day cause you really can't help the smile that makes its way to your face :)

scara doesn't take baths often (usually showers), but if he does take a bath it's probably a result of a stressful day with a need of a relaxful evening.

however... if he hears that you had a bad day? he goes straight home after work to get hot water running in the bath tub. (he tries to tell you to take a bath with him but in the end it just sounds like he's ordering you to hop in and wash up, you still get the message though TT)

he'll glare if he sees water go over the edge of the tub and onto the floor, but he doesn't do anything about it. he just sits in your presence and secretly hopes that will cheer you up (spoiler: it kinda does, soft scaramouche is really sweet)

he doesn't talk much, but the things he says are all related to asking if you're okay with things. for example, things like "is the water warm enough?" or "do you want to sit here instead?" or even "...do you want me to massage your shoulders?"

if you tease him for suddenly being nice, he just closes his mouth and glares at the wall for the rest of the bath time duration (but really, he wants to help you but doesn't really know how)

scaramouche just sits there and lets you do what you please, like decorating him in bubbles or attempting to shape his wet hair. it definitely cheers you up to see him not angry and just calm for once, his eyes closed from relaxing into your touch.

if he's really, really touched starved, he'll just reach over without a word and pull you into a back hug and hide his face in your hair (even if it's wet)

like childe, he steps out of the bath tub before you do. unlike childe, he grabs the towel without hesitation and (a bit roughly) picks you up and wraps you in it. he just claims that it wouldn't be good if you have gotten a cold, so you "better dry up or else"

xiao ×

in all honesty, he doesn't know how to cheer you up. xiao might be an adeptus that has lived around mortals for a long time, but you're the only mortal that makes confusing feelings thrive throughout his body fast and make his heart pound even faster.

he can be clueless, but he's definitely at least smart. he figures something relaxing should be able to bring your mood up, right? (he does doubt himself though)

the moment you return to your shared residence with xiao, you can hear the water running and him calling your name from the bathroom (how ironic since you're the one usually calling his name..)

he doesn't actually sit in the bath with you; instead, he sits outside the tub with your back facing to him from inside it. he also doesn't talk much with the belief that you'll need your own time and silence to heal.

xiao offers to wash your hair and when he does, he takes his time and tends to you with gentle hands. the feeling of his fingers carding through your hair and lightly massaging your scalp unsurprisingly soothes all your nerves, and it's difficult not to just melt into his touch. if the water gets too cold, he quickly drains it and replaces it with warmer water/any water at the temperature you want (but obviously he doesn't do it too much and wastes water)

not only that, he puts his hand against your forehead so none of the soap gets in your eyes while he soaks your hair with water to get out all the bubbles. xiao also silently offers to massage your shoulders by doing it once and looking over your shoulder to check your reaction, and his calloused hands still feel so relaxing rolling out all the tension off your back and neck

kisses the back of your head before getting up to get you a big towel to dry you off :( <3

he one-hundred percent asks if you're feeling better afterwards, even if there is hesitance evident in his voice. xiao hasn't been intimate with anyone else, especially mortals, so he wants to know if he can be a partner of yours that you're comfortable and happy with. he might need that a lot of reassurance from you that he is, but all in all also someone who will drop everything to go over to you and cheer you up :)

albedo: albedo enjoys your songs incredibly. he enjoys the love stories the most! but he doesn't mind hearing depressing stories; he just has a clear preference!! albedo appreciates those stories both fact and fiction; the stories that touch close to home are those based on your personal experiences, and he can only stare in awe as you sing of love, your dreams, heartbreak, or sadness. sing him sweet melodies of your relationship and how you're so happy together, and he's so whipped!

scaramouche: he may pretend like he's not interested, but he actually is. proof? well, he asks questions afterward! "why would they do such a thing? how stupid..." even if he does berate the story a bit. his favorite songs are those he can relate to, otherwise, he may be bored. sing him songs of battle, feeling torn between two conflicting ideals, kings and queens; royalty. he'll listen then. scaramouche likes when you praise him in your songs, so please do that.

xiao: he appreciates them so much! naturally, he's drawn to the darker stories. those of a couple who can not be, or someone losing something or someone so close to them they can't function properly, and the tragedies of life and death. he's not sure why he enjoys those stories, probably because he prefers realism, he despises sugarcoating with a passion! the love stories you share are probably your personal experiences with him, and he cannot lie, he does enjoy those quite a bit! <3

zhongli: he's a stickler for songs of the past! old tunes that remind him of the olden days, trying times where he and his people were able to pull through. he finds great pleasure in those kinds of stories told through song! of course, the triumphs should be remembered, and singing those stories of war, forbidden love, etc in the past is right up his alley. he also likes the realisticness of it all! but that doesn't mean he hates the fictional side, no. sing him words of myths, fairytales, he loves it all as long as it's your velvety voice. but, always, swimming in the nostalgia will always be his favorite type of song you sing for him.

"i'm a tad bit stressed, so i'm just going to sing alright? cool."

albedo: he doesn't mind at all! if singing is your way of releasing your worries, fear, and major stress factors in your life, go for it. he has his own form of outlet and ways to release stress, and this is yours! when you start randomly singing your worries and anxieties, you aren't doing it in hopes he'd fix all your problems, but he always offers a word of advice after, comfortably giving you the space to ask for help or not.

scaramouche: not cool. he's far too busy to sit here and listen to you sing about your worries, although he does care. he would snap at you first, but then he'd listen and try his best to ease your worries. when i say "best" i mean it, he does try. but he's not the most comforting guy, hence words that sounded like reassurances in his head turned into an annoyed tone when he actually said it aloud. if you're together, you know by now not to get offended by his harshness, because sometimes he truly does mean well and isn't trying to be rude. <3

xiao: he's heard every cause of stress in the books, so when he hears you ask him if it's okay to basically rant, he just nods and continues listening. xiao's heard all of the despair, sadness, frustrations, and anger known to man trust me. he's helped people too, so what kind of lover would be if he didn't offer his assistance to you? like scaramouche, his words of encouragement or reassurance come out a bit rougher than preferred, but unlike scaramouche, his walls do come down and he lets softer things be said; "i don't know why you've held this in for so long... but i will do everything in my power to assist you with these feelings."

zhongli: all ears! he even offers some helpful advice, always. his main goal is to listen to your songs, access the situation, analyze possible outcomes of solutions, and then help you reach that solution! you never wanted him to go out of his way over things little or big, but he does no matter the issue, small or big <3 he handles what you sing with the utmost care, trust me. and when he listens to your songs, especially those of confessions of stress, he will always look you in your eyes to let you know he's listening intently and will do whatever it takes to help you feel reassurance.

"confession through a song? sure why not!"

albedo: doesn't realize it's a confession... he mistakes your confession for a love story either fact or fiction, but not you admitting your love to him. he's probably caught up in the song if there seem to be overtly affectionate love interests, not realizing it's you who has those feelings for him and are admitting it... at the end of the day, the moral of the story is, you've gotta outright tell him!! say, "albedo, i have a crush on you!" or "did you not catch my song as a confession?" don't be scared, he totally has feelings for you too, he just needs to be told outright. afterward? he's very straightforward with his feelings too and will openly admit his love for you! <3

scaramouche: he may not notice it's a confession at first, but then when he processes what's being said, oh boy! beat red in the ears. he's sooo lucky his hair covers his ears or else, more embarrassment the gods are totally willing to spare! he's going to do one of two things; avoid this as long as he can, and pretend he never heard you express your feelings to him through song OR flat out call you out, using words such as, "idiot" and "stupid" or 'brat" claiming you've gotta be joking. but you're not... if he takes this route, he's definitely not rejecting you, no, he's just flat out making fun and teasing you because he can't possibly admit his true feelings, oh not the scaramouche!!

xiao: xiao isn't dumb, he understands what the "yearning" and "love" you mention are in your song, but he doesn't act on it at first and just continues listening to you sing. it's much easier to ignore the meaning of the words and enjoy the melodic sounds of your voice than confront this and his own feelings. so he does that for as long as he can. until he can't sleep... and he starts thinking of your sweet words while he's supposed to be sleeping. he won't admit he has feelings with words, but one way you can be sure is when he starts allowing you to call him alatus! after you ask zhongli about the meaning, plus why he's suddenly so determined you call him that, zhongli says he's never heard of anyone allowed to call xiao that, not even himself; meaning, the wise man has come to the conclusion xiao returns your feelings. which is true!

zhongli: he knows due to his wisdom and incredible intuition, and he's so flattered! he's always felt the same way, so to have you bravely admit your feelings to him through singing, it's perfect! he never saw you admitting how you felt, ever, mainly because after he told you his story and who exactly he was, he thought you wouldn't try because well... if you ever got together, he would long surpass you. growing attached was definitely not suitable if you wanted to be together for the rest of your life. though, after he confronts you about these feelings and admits he also feels the same way, he promises you he will figure out a way for you two to be together! whether he has to entirely shorten his lifespan and abandoned his status now as an adeptus, or seek help from celestia, or even baal, god of eternity; he will figure it out, he promises you wholeheartedly! <3

zhongli: the teachers assistant for the world history class. this man knows everything about every historical event. you swear it's like he's almost lived through all of it! which leads to your speculations of zhongli being a vampire. anyway, this man is very sweet and definitely gets unwanted flirtatious attention from his students. poor man just wants to talk about history </3

kaeya: the frat boy who's almost never at his frat house. honestly if he didn't tell you he was a frat boy you never could've guessed. kaeya is your typical "bad boy heart breaker" trope. and of course, his only soft spot is for you <3 what you find even more shocking is that he's a chemistry major. suddenly the stupid science pick up lines he leaves on post it notes for you to find make more sense.

albedo: ah yes, our studious straight A albedo. he's a double stem major with a minor in art. albedo has to be one of the most underrated students in your class. he's kind, smart, and very pretty. albedo is always willing to help you with your work and always does so with a gleaming smile! everyone loves albedo <3

diluc: oh. him. that guy. so diluc's like super rich, but humble about it. you won't even know this man is rich you didn't see him driving around campus in his 150,000 sports car. you've only heard from rumors that he's not one to talk to and should be ignored. so it wasn't until you were forced to talk to him though a project that you realized diluc is the most socially awkward dork you know! strangely, you very much like him for it.

thoma: unintentional teachers pet. all of the professors love thoma. i mean, who doesn't love thoma? having a bad day? thoma to the rescue! he's always there for you, rain or shine. he majors in zoology and is president of the cooking club! he also seems to attract a ton of unwanted attention from his fellow peers, but in reality all his heart longs for is yours.

kazuha: mmm yes. another one apart of liberal arts. kazuha is a music major and probably one of the easiest going guys you have ever met. he writes you weekly poems that you collect over time and put in a shoebox you spent hours decorating. you'd never tell kazuha that obviously.

childe: the epitome of frat boy chad. childe did not come to college to study, he came to party his life away. what enrages your the most is childe's natural smooth talking skills. this loser can talk any professor out of failing him. but what you can't seem to wrap your head around is his pristine grades. how can someone get wasted on a monday night but still ace their exam!!

y/n sat on the floor of their bathroom as they stared at their body in the mirror, a few stray tears escaping their eyes. it was a bad habit of theirs to check their body and make mental notes on the areas that they could lose weight in. they sometimes even went as far as to plan how they would lose said weight, only for them to forget within the span of three days. they only did this when they knew eijirou would be gone for a while, fearing what he would say if he saw them like this. he was big on positivity and it’d kill him if he saw his significant other sitting on the floor, having less than positive thoughts about themselves.

‘another twelve pounds. what happened to wanting to lose weight, y/n?’ they thought to themselves.

y/n was so caught up in their thoughts that they didn’t hear the front door open and they didn’t hear when he called out for them twice. that’s how kirishima found them staring off into the mirror with a wet face and frown, quickly putting two and two together. he stepped behind y/n, snapping them out of their thoughts when they saw his figure in the mirror. they grabbed his their discarded shirt and quickly pulled it on before turning to look at him.

“i thought you’d be home late,” y/n said, embarrassed as they stood up and walked to the sink, hoping to wash their tear stricken face. before they could reach the porcelain appliance, eijirou pulled them towards him.

“i’m glad i came home early. otherwise, you would’ve been left completely alone with your thoughts. i’m sorry i wasn’t here,” kirishima mumbled, disappointed in himself for not noticing how you felt.

“it’s not your fault, eiji. i didn’t want you to worry,” they mumbled into the crook of his neck as they felt fresh tears pool in their eyes. this is exactly what they didn’t want. kirishima had his own bad habit of blaming himself for things that he couldn’t control. y/n didn’t want to add additional stress on top of his hero duties and figured that this was something that they could handle on their own. this isn’t how they wanted him to find out if he ever did.

“are you hungry? i bought us dinner on my way home from the agency. i noticed that you didn’t write anything on the calendar about dinner for today and figured i could bring something home,” he asked as he pulled back enough to see his lover’s face. he noticed the new tears and brushed them away only for more to come. “it’s alright, love. let it out. i’m here for you.”

“i’m so sorry,” y/n sniffled as they cried harder. kirishima rubbed their back as he led them back into the bedroom.

“i just… i don’t feel beautiful, eiji. i know that you call me beautiful or gorgeous, but i can’t bring myself to feel that way. i feel like i embarrass you when we’re seen in public. i’m not slim like those pro-heroines and i’m definitely not as beautiful. i gained twelve pounds whilst on a diet. i love my complexion, but the beauty standards here insult it. i try so hard… just to not receive good results. i just want to feel pretty, eiji. i want to feel pretty so bad,” y/n sobbed as they confessed their worries to him.

eijirou was lost for words. he never imagined that his usually upbeat significant other felt like this. he never would’ve suspected them being insecure or body conscious because he knew they were beautiful. his friends and co-workers even recognized y/n as gorgeous externally, so their doubts were surprising.

“can you look at me, darling?” he asked softly. he didn’t want to force them to do anything. he was elated when y/n met his gaze. “you’re absolutely beautiful. inside and out. i didn’t know you felt like this because in my eyes, and many others, you’re stunning. i know my words aren’t enough to soothe your worries, but i meant it when i said you are the most attractive person i’ve ever laid my eyes on. ‘m not just saying that because i’m your man, but because it’s true. there aren't enough words to express how beautiful you are.”

there was a short silence between the two before kirishima leaned in and kissed y/n’s lips. “please let me show you how beautiful you are,” he requested, planting soft but meaningful kisses on their face.

you’d come over and say i looked lovely.

“i don’t wanna have sex tonight,” y/n said, hesitating in case they disappointed him.

“sex isn’t on my mind tonight. i just want to worship you like you deserve. if you don’t want me to, i won’t and i’ll just hold you,” he tightened his hold to show y/n that it was truly up to them and that they were in control.

“go ahead. i’d like it if you helped me.”

at their approval, kirishima re-situated himself between their legs before pushing their shirt up above their chest. he looked up y/n to receive their consent once more before placing a few kisses on their collarbone. he moved slowly, traveling to their sternum and down further to the pudge on their stomach. y/n hummed at the feeling of his hands running over their body.

“i wish you knew how beautiful you are. if you need my help in any way, please come to me. you can always lean on me, love. it hurt to see you closed off in the bathroom, judging your gorgeous body,” as he whispered, he left longer kisses on a more intimate place of their body. he hoped that through his actions, he would be able to convey his feelings.

he ran his hands over their plush thighs, massaging them slightly as he looked down at the beautiful human being under him. his motions soothed their body and some of their insecurities, showing them how beautiful they truly were. washing their sorrows away when he left those lingering kisses.

he ceased his motions when he reached their face once more. he maintained eye contact until y/n closed their eyes with a small smile. he pressed barely there kisses along their cheek bones and on their forehead. he took their face between his large hands and kisses their soft lips with enough emotion to bring them to tears.

“thank you, eiji,” y/n said, wrapping their arms around him, cuddling deeper into him.

“of course, doll.”

todoroki touya isn’t a despicable man.

at least, you don’t think he is.

not as he gently holds your hand in his, applying rubbing alcohol with a cotton ball to make sure your cut doesn’t get infected — wrapping it in a bandage, making sure it isn’t too incredibly tight.

“ya gotta be more careful,” he starts, looks up at you with such tenderness you want to be drowned in all of his love. “or what will ya do when i’m not ‘round?”

“it was an accident, i’m always careful.”

“obviously not careful enough.”

you rest your head against his chest, sigh. the sound of his beating heart blends with the sound of rain and you look down at the way touya still holds onto your hand — softly, lovingly.

todoroki touya is a good lover, you think.

and not only because he bandages your hand, but because he makes you feel safe in the wee hours of the night — when there’s thunder, when you have a nightmare. because he feeds you cantaloupe on hot summer days out on your balcony, because you feel him pour his love into your heart and soul as he holds you by the waist as you shower.

you stare up at him, sheepish smile on your face. “then you’ll have to stay with me forever, huh?” you lean back again, wrap your arms around his neck.

“yeah,” he caresses your cheek with his thumb and you feel that tender love again. “i guess so.”

it’s quiet — todoroki touya doesn’t think he deserves your sweet loving, thinks he doesn’t deserve to wake up next to you every morning.

and as if you feel his silent doubts and worries, you smile, kiss him. “i love you.”

because todoroki touya deserves the universe, not the cruel world. he deserves the moon and the stars and every flower plucked by your hands (because, you think, you’d like to give every single one to him).

his breath catches in his throat. “i love you, too.”

todoroki touya isn’t a despicable man.

at least, you don’t think he is.

not when he’s handed you his heart on a silver platter and not when he treats you with such gentleness.

Second Chances; Oikawa is the high school sweetheart who you broke up with because he was too obsessed with volleyball. He’s the one you’d always wondered ‘what if.’ What if you have stayed together and sorted through your differences? What if you were patient and tried to understand his point of view? What if he was the one that got away? Thoughts of him come and go, but nothing sticks until you are on vacation in Argentina. It could have just been a passer-by, a stranger that caught your eye in a crowd, but your heart was telling you something else. It was telling you to double-check who he was. And at that moment everything was in slow motion. He too looks back, chocolate brown eyes engulfed in awe and surprise. ✧ IWAIZUMI HAJIME ​​✧

Drunk Confession; Iwaizumi is the loner you met in college who was very unapproachable with a stoic and intimidating expression wasn’t something you intended to break with small talk. But once you were assigned to work in a group project with him, you knew you had to uncover the person underneath the solemn face. Things go a lot better than expected and it doesn’t take long before you’re both seeking out each other’s company. You started to sit in class beside each other, study silently in the library together, and treat each other to caffiene when spirits were low. It’s not until after finals that you decide to both celebrate by going out for drinks together. You know you’re drunk but your heart begins to race uncontrollably. He takes a deep breath, then turns with caution and fear in his eyes. “I like you… like more than a friend,” he says and you think you’ve misheard him but his embarrassed expression tells you otherwise. “I like you too,” you reply with a smile.

✧ HANAMAKI TAKAHIRO ​​✧

Fake Dating; Hanamaki is the new co-worker who talks to you too much. He’s the one that always gets you in trouble and you tell him you’re going to kill him if he gets you fired - he holds you to it. One day he asks you to do him a favor, though you don’t owe him anything, he somehow ropes you in pretending you’re his girlfriend when his best friend visits him at work. His best friend teases him and asks him how he could ever score a catch like you and you can only think of unkind words to say, so you bite your tongue. But the hoax doesn’t stop there. Of course, his best friend invites you both out for drinks. You think you can excuse yourself then Hanamaki answers for you. The extreme frustration boiling inside you almost unleashes until he offers to pay for you. Your fake relationship lasts longer than anticipated until the point you don’t despise his company. After a couple of months, he invites you to a festival. You dress up in a beautiful yukata which makes Hanamaki speechless at first sight. The evening is filled with vibrant lights and delicious food. Near the end, you decide to watch the fireworks. You feel your heart drop into your stomach as you both gaze up at the sky. Suddenly you can feel his hand touch yours and electricity courses through you. Somehow you want to stay like this forever.

✧ MATSUKAWA ISSEI ​​✧

Unresolved Sexual Tension; Matsukawa is your friend you have always been overly flirty towards. It’s like a game, enjoying the banter that overcomes between the two of you while softly touching his arm and in return, he shoots you one of his smug smiles, basically knocking the air out of your lungs. The flirting never fizzles but evolves into tension every time you see each other. His eyes were a lot softer, his gaze always falling to your lips and he knew that you knew he was obviously looking. Not in the same innocent way he used to look through – there was more desire behind those eyes than friendship. And you wanted more, but whenever he got too close, you’d get scared making up some sort of excuse to be out of reach or revert eye contact while changing the subject. You didn’t fear getting hurt, but feared that going a step further wouldn’t match what you’d imagined. So the two of you lingered between just friends to what could be more. Until one night. You spent the evening out with friends, they wanted to go clubbing, you wanted to spend the night in, you were outvoted. You tried to give the plans a chance, dressing up in a dangerous dress you’d never wear otherwise – perfectly accentuating your most glorious assets, unsure if you were confident enough to pull it off. But you wore it and joined with your friends. The night was so agonizingly boring, you were texting Matsukawa the entire time, both trying to plot your escape. Finally, a ploy was devised for him to pick you up as an emergency. You didn’t think it’d work, but your friends didn’t seem to mind that you were being taken away by a tall dark, handsome man. He helps you get home safe, standing in your doorway as you thank him for his courageous act of service. You both gaze for a moment too long at each other. He’s about to take off, but you don’t wish him to go, so you ask him if he would like to come in. He looks at you in surprise seeing the needy look in your eyes that he so undoubtedly makes him fall further every time. And he says yes, crossing into the threshold.

On one hand he likes to be the best and in the other he loves seeing you happy and he likes eating your food

He'd likely challenge you cooking competitions and the rest of the class likes it because then they get to eat the food the two of you cook

Bakugou would also love to cook with you especially if you teach him new recipes that he can make

He would demand that your classmates judge who's food is better and would probably yell at them if they say yours is even if it's true

Just give him some kisses (in private of course) and he'll be back to his normal self in no time
