i raise you the idea of charles—post first class, once the students leave and the teachers are conscripted, becoming so lonely and desperate for something to keep him going before hank develops the serum—staying up late at night with cerebro to look for erik's mind when he sleeps.

because i'm under the assumption that erik wouldn't wear this thing to bed, nor would he essentially wear it all the time. but charles seeks him out after a few months of radio silence and slips into his dreams to find someone to keep him company. the general nature of dreams is that even the good ones, unless you write them down immediately, dissolve from your memory when you wake up.

so maybe erik's under the impression that he misses charles so much that he's dreaming. and charles is chasing a fix he can't have by staying up later and later and holding onto old, better times in erik's subconscious.

but charles stops taking up a corner of erik's mind once he gets arrested. so even that speck of warmth is robbed from erik in clinical, sanitized solitary—meanwhile charles has finally gotten a hold of hank's serum and he's realized he can't keep pining after someone who can't even bring himself to stay by his side. who stole his family and chooses violence over it like it's nothing.

so he trades his powers to sleep.

I'll try to keep this short, but I'm alive and safe. There is no threat of harm upon my person, either by myself or others. Sorry it took so long to state that. While I considered this move for long time, my execution of it was hastily done and poorly planned.

I have no plans to restore my blog to its former state at present. To the three collabs I was a part of at the time of closing my blog + Discord, you may take this post as a formal withdrawal notice.

The only explanation I can provide at this time is that I desired freedom and healing, and this is part of that process.

I wanted to ask what is the right way to pronounce Aziraphale's name. In Hebrew, it's written "Azir'fa'el". I checked other languages that I'm familiar with, and in Spanish it's written "Azirafel", and in Japanese it's written "Azirafe-l" (the - symbolizing elongated pronunciation). I would love it if you could respond, Ene.
