so what im hearing is that u'll repeat ATYD tropes and personalities while having no idea where they're from which in this fandom leads to the characters being awful, cruel ppl that have nothing in common with either HP canon or ATYD canon so they might as well be ocs but that doesnt bring in the same social clout as using pre-made, already loved characters that u butcher

i’m not fully sure if i understand the question, but if you mean it in the ‘how should i go about things if i see an account that says minors don’t interact’ and in that case i either block the account (normally do that if it’s like, NSFW content) or i simply just scroll away. but also be aware that some people have different extremities of mdni, bc i know on tiktok many people have age limits in terms of duets but don’t care what age watches / likes their content. so you can also be aware of that

but overall i’d say that if you see an account that says MDNI (especially if it’s in their name) to completely ignore the content. and especially don’t go liking the posts or following them bc that’s invalidating their boundaries

(but also be aware of the guidelines for tumblr and that putting MDNI is not an excuse to break those guidelines, and report the people that break guidelines to keep tumblr a safe space!!)
