thought I was haunted by Belphegor for a solid minute before I realised what it was

kinda loving it

for me as a Mephisto kinnie and stan it's so painful to see how people depreciate his friendship with Diavolo. when Mephisto starts adoring Dia everyone is babbling about how gay he is, but he was just raised to praise the young prince, his friendship is based on praising and I don't see anything gay there. it's even sad, knowing about their canon relationships. he wants to be noticed and doesn't wants to be abandoned. I hope people will stop this fetishism about making every male/male interaction in this game about being gay. friendship exists too.

I am having a brainrot about Beel

!!Spoilers from season 1!!

Beel sees himself as the protector of his family and loved ones. He used to be one of Lucifer's bodyguards if I am not mistaken and the angel the guards the gates of the Celestial Realm.

We know of the hurt he felt when he failed to protect Lilith and have her die before his eye. It's canon that not only does he blame himself but he also used to think that Belphie hated him for it.

Now imagine how he felt when he realized that Belphie was not in the human world but locked in the attic. He must have thought he failed as a protector ones again and to make the matters even worse, he had to go up against Lucifer too!! Another member of the family.

That lesson when Belphegor revealed himself to everyone was the lesson where Beel realize how much he failed in protecting his loved ones, the one thing he loves more than food.(In the unspoken feelings card is revealed that he thinks of his family 50% of the time while he thinks about food only 40% of the time)

And a few lessons later, MC dies at the hands of his own twin brother, failing once again to protect the ones important to him.

Beel has so much angst potential and I don't see it being talked about too often. There are so many scenarios where you can put him that would bring out parts of his character other than his love for food.

I wanna see fanfictions where he fails to protect MC and about all the mixed feelings that he would have about it. Him thinking he is not good enough for them because he couldn't shield from danger and that MC should be with someone that can protect them. What kind of protector is he if all his loved ones keep getting hurt.

I love Beel and I hate to see him suffering but he also has some really good angst potential outside of 'can't control my hunger/strenght so I might hurt them'.

You squirmed as someone shook you awake. Barbatos smiled as you groaned, trying to wiggle out of Diavolo’s iron grip on your waist. 

“Morning, Barbatos.” You said. 

“Good morning.” He said and gestured to the tray that was on the bedside table. “I’ve already brought you two breakfasts. Can I count on you to coax the young master out of bed?” 

“Yep. We’ll be down in a bit.” You said. Barbatos nodded and left the room. You turned to Daivolo whose face was scrunched up, pretending to be asleep. You kissed his forehead. He smiled but tried to hide it by snuggling into you. 

“C’mon, Dia.” You said, trying to wiggle your way out of his grip. Diavolo held on tighter. You finally resigned yourself to being stuck and changed tactics. You pulled him away just enough to get to his face and attacked. You started to smother him with your kisses. He laughed and tried halfheartedly  squirming away from you. You refused to let him. 

“You. Have. To. Get. Up.” You said, punctuating each word with another kiss. He groaned. 

“Fine. Fine.” Diavolo said. He sat up and hugged you. “Waking up next to you is the best thing I could ask for.”
