studio ghibli + nature scenario
“Arren! Life without death is not life. Refuse death, and you refuse life as well. Listen to me Arren. No man nor anything in this world lives forever. But only to us is it given to know that we must die. And that is a precious gift. This life that is our torment and our treasure dus not endure. It is a wave on the sea. Would you force the sea to grow still, to save one wave? To save yourself?”

TALES OF EARTHSEA - A forgotten Studio Ghibli/Miyazaki Film
OutofMelodies – I recently just watched this movie and was captivated. Not only by the art and the beautiful music, which was a lot different compared to the previous movies, but also the characters. The main character is nothing like I’ve ever seen in movies Ghibli’s produced. Usually, they are the heroic, humble and good nature. But, the main boy in this film constantly battles his demons, his anger and loses plenty of times. What really shocked me was how -dark- this movie was despite how their other films are [taking Grave of the Fireflies off of the list of course] There are a lot of adult themes here. Everyone always talks about “Howl’s Moving Castle” or “Spirited Away.” But seriously, give this movie a try. In my opinion, it isn’t as powerfully moving like Princess Mononoke or Castle in the sky, but it is a GREAT movie nonetheless.
Also, if you haven’t seen Princess Mononoke, check it out too.
This movie was directed by Miyazaki’s son.
I’m reading The Secret Garden. The illustrations inside by Charles Robinson are so lovely!
Favorite ships: Therru x Arren
Elena Of Avalor | 1x06: Elena tells a not-so-funny joke. Gabe is so done.
“It’s not a disguise, it’s magic.” Howl’s Moving Castle (2004) Directed by Hayao Miyazaki
Scamander Brothers and Goldstein Sisters Paralells
The worried younger siblings (Newt and Queenie) when they find out their older siblings (Theseus and Tina) was captured and sentenced to death
The younger siblings (Newt and Queenie) try to save their older siblings (Theseus and Tina) from execution with their ability (Newt: Magizoologist knowledge; Queenie: Legilimency)
Bonus:
The differences only on Goldstein sisters scene are very emotional 😭🥺 but Scamander Brothers are very comic relief 😆
Following those behind-the-scenes shake-ups, Waterston has revealed fans can expect more "surprises" on screen when the movie hits cinemas next year – with one twist actually surprising her.
"I never really know what I'm supposed to say or not say," she told Empire.
"But yes, I can confirm there will be surprises. I just thought of one, in fact. It surprised me!
"I think that's about as far as I can go."
