These aren't really new OCs, but they're new to y'all, so here!
I hope you guys like them, I got inspired by a dream I had and I love my silly guys! It'll be fun to see who you think the main character is of the story (hint: It's not the 3rd person :3)
That's all I got, just wanted to post my silly guys on here! Hope you'll enjoy seeing more of them in the future!
P.S. The story doesn't have a name yet, but it has magic within it :3 (I love fantasy so fucking much, oh mah gawd)
Please stop and listen to our painful story and help me save the family 🇵🇸🇵🇸
Help me get my father and mother out and secure their lives
The story of my father and mother who suffered from illness and lived under the wall of a tent
“The tent was their only shelter. Its winter wall was made of threadbare fabric that did not protect them from the cold or summer heat. Inside, they were lying on a thin mattress, two defeated bodies suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure. They woke up every day to the sound of chronic pain and dreams. That relaxes with every breath.

So, my D&D group is planning an isekai campaign. If you don't know what an isekai is, it's where a character dies and is reincarnated into another world. There is a scene that happens with my character's little brother that's never going to happen in the campaign, so I thought I'd share it with you guys!

Elliot bounced on his toes at the train platform, excited to see his big sister. She had been away for a few days searching for colleges, but today she was finally coming home! He even wore his favorite sweater for the occasion. This 11-year-old boy was alone, however. His parents were too busy to greet their daughter, just like they were too busy to even help their son with schoolwork. But Elliot didn't care, it was their loss.
Suddenly, he heard a scream as well as sirens. Strange, usually the sirens weren't so close to the station. They always drove past the station before. Elliot looked around and noticed a group of people, as well as a train that was derailed. Surely that wasn't the train his big sister was on, right? He should probably check, just to make sure. There's no way it's her train.
So, Elliot hopped off the train platform and ran over to the crowd of people. He could barely see what was going on, since he was so small, but he weaved his way through the crowd to see first responders dragging out various bodies. It was horrific, people were throwing up at the sight, cursing under their breath, and overall just mortified. Who wouldn't be with a sight as disturbing as that?
That's when Elliot noticed a firefighter standing off to the side, barking orders at his team. He was holding someone in his arms like they were his bride. Elliot could barely make out who the person was, but he noticed and immediately recognized the limp arm he could see that had a black and purple glove with a unique design around the wrist.
No...
He rushed over to the firefighter, ignoring the people yelling at him to get back and that it was dangerous. The fire chief turned and his eyes widened as he watched the little boy running towards him.
"Kid, this area is off-limits! Please go back to where the crowd is!" He said. His voice was stern, but he was very clearly worried about the young boy.
With the fire chief turned around, Elliot could finally see the face of his fatally injured big sister. Tears began to well up in his eyes at the sight of his unconscious big sister.
"Th-That's my big sister your holding!" Elliot said, clearly trying to keep his composure. He'd never experienced the death of a loved one before.
"This is your sister, kid?" The fire chief said, gesturing to Elliot's sister with his head. Elliot nodded. "Don't worry, kid. She's still got a pulse, so we think she's going to make it. An ambulance is on its way, but where are your parents?"
"Th-They're both at work. I-I can give you their ph-phone numbers if you'd like," Elliot said, trying his best to stay calm.
"Alright, you can call them when we reach the hospital. What's your name, kid?"
"I-I'm Elliot Nickerson," Elliot said, grabbing the limp arm of his sister. "My big sister's name is Tara Nickerson. She's going to be okay, right?"
"Don't worry, Elliot, your sister will be okay," the fire chief said. The sound of ambulance sirens started to grow louder. "She's going to make it."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Elliot sat in the chair next to the hospital bed Tara was lying in, holding her hand, listening to the heart monitor making various beeps. His parents soon entered the room and took seats on the other side of the bed. His parents didn't say anything to Elliot. What could they even say? Their daughter was dancing on the line of life and death and their 11-year-old son had never experienced such a loss before.
Not too long after his parents arrived, Elliot looked up to see the doctor walk in. His face had a tired expression, but he also looked heartbroken. Elliot didn't understand why the doctor was sad. Tara was going to be okay, after all! Right?
"Are you two Mr. and Mrs. Nickerson?" The doctor asked, looking over at Elliot's parents.
"Yes, we are," his mother said. She looked like she was about to cry. Elliot had never seen his mother cry before. She was always so cold and stern.
"And you are...?" The doctor turned his attention to Elliot.
"I'm Tara's little brother," Elliot said quickly, sitting up straight in his seat.
"Well, unfortunately, we've done everything we could, but I don't think Miss Tara is going to make it," the doctor said with a solemn look in his eyes.
"Wh-What?" Elliot's father said quietly. Elliot never once heard his father yell, but that didn't mean his father was easy to please. It was quite the opposite. "Are you serious? There's no way to save her?"
The doctor lightly shook his head. "Her heartbeat is too slow and she's lost so much blood from such fatal injuries. There's no way we can save her."
Elliot felt tears well up in his eyes once again. He looked back at his sister, who looked so peaceful, and quietly began to sob. The doctor said something about letting the family be there, for the 19-year-old girl's last few moments, but Elliot didn't fully make out what the doctor said before he left.
"T-Tara... p-please," Elliot pleaded in-between sobs. "You h-have to live for me. Y-You promised th-that you'd live a long life with me! You p-promised that you'd come to my high school graduation! You promised me! Please, Tara!"
The young boy sobbed and soon, the heart monitor made one slow, but steady, long beep, indicating that Tara was gone. Elliot's sobs grew louder as he heard the sound of the monitor and he laid his head on top of his sister's chest, which was no longer rising or falling from breathing.
"DON'T LEAVE ME!!" he shouted before he just gave up and sobbed loudly.
Elliot's parents looked at each other, tears falling from their own eyes watching their daughter pass and their son break down in tears. They looked into each other's eyes with a knowing look that said that they would be better parents for their son, in hopes that they wouldn't lose him too.
Elliot didn't want to leave Tara's side, but his parents couldn't let him stay there, so his father picked him up and he screamed and cried as his father carried him out of the room and away from his big sister.
The car ride home was silent, even with the sounds of Elliot's quiet sniffles. Maybe it was his fault that his sister was gone. He had touched her after she came home from school that one day when she had to stay behind in her history class and she yelled at him to not touch her. Her eyes were wide when she yelled at him.
There was also that time when her best friend was murdered and she cut off a lot of her hair. He tried to tell her that he liked her long hair, but she snapped at him and said that he wouldn't understand. He must've pushed her over the edge, so therefore it was his fault, right?
Then why did she hug him after he convinced her not to jump? Why did she teach him how to braid hair and then braid a part of his hair with a soft smile? Why did she always go out of her way to help him with homework, despite having her own homework to do? Was it truly because he was a bad brother? No, no he was a good brother, he truly was. But maybe this was the universe's punishment for him not being good enough.
Elliot didn't know the answer. But he knew that it wasn't fair that his sister was gone.
He never wore his favorite sweater again after that day.
That moment when Runt from JRWI Wonderlust suddenly becomes way too relatable and it causes you to remember something that happened to you 7 or 8 years ago-
Context under cut, tw/cw for bullying, manipulation, and a toxic relationship if you want to know the context
This was something that happened in 6th grade, which was obviously a long time ago for me now, but that scene with Runt yelling at WD for lying made me remember this moment that I had nearly forgotten about. Again, this happened a while ago, so bear with me because I may not remember all the details.
There was this boy I had been friends with since elementary school, his name was Nic. He was in my last two classes of the day in 6th grade, which were history and math. In my history class, he treated me like a friend, because I was his friend, and for some time in my math class, he treated me like a friend then too.
However, my math teacher switched up the seating arrangements and had me sit next to a girl, with Nic and another boy behind me. The girl and the boy didn't treat me very well. They were both bullies to me and would say horrible things about me whenever they got the chance. And Nic joined them. He was suddenly not my friend anymore, but also still was at the same time.
That shit hurt, especially since I hadn't done anything to anyone. The biggest thing that the girl and boy would tell me is that my breath smells or I smell in general. And that hurt, because no matter how hard I tried, it was never enough to get them to stop and I felt trapped. I don't remember if I ended up moving seats to get away from them or if I put up with it until the teacher changed the seating chart again.
It was genuinely the most confusing experience for me because outside of math class, Nic was still my childhood friend, until we stepped foot in math class. It was so frustrating and confusing and to this day, I still don't understand why he did that to me. I haven't spoken to him or seen him since high school, and I didn't really talk to him during high school either. But yeah.
God, middle school was such a shitty time for me.
Do you want to have philosophical conversations or perhaps talk about fictional characters?" What! Whatever. I will just follow you back and stare at your blog with my big beautiful brown eyes.
That's pretty much it :3
Nevermind, we had a storm in our area that caused a power outage, so the Ren Faire was closed. BUT, I STILL GOT A CROWN, SO I'M HAPPY!! We stopped by the mall to cure our lack of Ren Faire and it was so much fun :3
We're gonna try and go in October, so I'll still get to go to the Ren Faire!
Going to the Ren Faire this weekend, hopefully, I'll get some cool stuff for my A!Aimsey cosplay (specifically a crown and a sword).
If not, I will be sad /hj
(P.S. If you wanna see my A!Aimsey cosplay, I post my cosplays on TikTok, which is linked in my linktree. I also cosplay OCs and Squiggles and all of my cosplays are closet cosplays, so they're not very good, but I still have fun with it)
