Whenever you guys go tries to shield your body by clinging to you more

Need an arm? No need got Venti’s to do all the tasks for you while he’s on your body

Need to walk? Have fun dragging weight

Need a bodyguard since someone’s harassing you? Venti will swoosh them away with his anemo powers

Sometimes he’ll just s t a r e,, not saying a single word, just staring at you while having the most dazed expression ever

After he snaps out of his little daydream he’ll start snuggling/showering you with affection,, if he’s feeling it he’ll even make you a small poem

“Sitting there with thy alluring presence, shall draw in many from distant lands! Their beauty only seen once! A blessing to thy eyes”

When Venti is out performing in front of the statue with crowds gathered around, he’ll keep a careful eye on those near you

Sometimes if he sees someone too close to you, not even talking to you, he’ll slowly dance/sway his way between you two, making room for himself

“Did you see Y/n today?” A random person asked another at the Angels Share

“Did I? Of course I did! It’s impossible not to when their beauty stands out from the crowd!”

“Hahaha! Good point”

Of course Venti gotta defend you- so he threw his lyre at one and chucked a bottle of dandelion wine towards another 🥰

Yeah- sooo he definitely got kicked out and got a lecture from Diluc about ruining his business and wasting his wine

Venti was later found that day chatting, drunk, with a dandelion in his hand acting as if they were having a full blown conversation

“Yes! I agree! Y/n was extra beautiful today! It’s like I can see the holy beam of light surrounding their body!”

“...”

“You know what friend! I think you and me will get along just fine! As long as you don’t make moves on my Y/n”

Little did Venti know that you were watching the scene since you went out to look for him

“Venti,,, what are you doing?”

“See friend! This is my lovely Y/n! A beauty! A charmer! Worthy to be an archon!”

“Who are you talking to???”

“Y/n! Kisses!” Than he tackled your body, landing in the soft grass as he started peppering your face with kisses

“Aren’t. You. So. Cute!” After each word he pressed a kiss on a different spot on your face, the last kiss lasting longer and on your lips

“Haha okay Venti, my charming deaf bard, let's go home now” not paying attention to the awe he was in at your beauty

Idk if I've talked about this before, but I saw someone post about why people who have been trying to shift for so long might not be shifting (this might not apply to everyone, but it really clicked with me). They only explained why, so I'm gonna talk about the solution I came up with.

They specifically said that it was not tough love, but psychological facts: it's possible that your mind registers shifting as a goal in THIS reality.

Think about that for a second. This is the part that really got me when I started to think about it. When you are here, in your CR, your goal is to shift, right? So what if our minds interprets that as a goal IN THIS REALITY, as simple as going to bed thinking "oh, I'm going to unload the dishwasher in the morning." Because shifting is just aligning with your DR self, and guess what?? Your goal in your DR is not to shift! That blew up my brain a little bit.

"But i want to shift" you know how everyone keeps saying "you are already in your DR"? I interpreted that for so long as motivation. It's not. It's the process. To align with your DR self, just like aligning with another person in your CR you have to have the same goals.

So your goal is no longer to shift. Stop thinking like that. Your goal IS NOT TO SHIFT. Waking up where you are meant to has never been a goal, but an expectation. Your goal is to wake up and go downstairs to have breakfast with your DR friends or family. Your goal is to wake up and get to class on time to ace that Defence Against The Dark Arts quiz you totally forgot to study for until the night before. Your goal is to wake up and win that Oscar, to break that curse, destroy the One Ring, you fucking name it babes.

I don't know if this is really dumb and obvious, but it wasn't for me before, so I really hope this post helps someone else too.

im just picturing dancing through the sky with venti. like youre sitting on top of the ruins of decarabians tower, and he does that whole 'do you trust me?' scene and when you take his hand, he leads you out, and he manipulates the wind and you two float out, and he chuckles when he sees how tightly youre gripping his hand, and says 'cmon, itll be alright! i wont letcha fall!', and you to dance together, swirling in the wind to a song just for the both of you.

head empty only venti knows jackshit about braiding, he just spawned in like that and uses magic to upkeep them. When he loses his gnosis he has to use his power sparingly, which means no more wasting magic on the braids. He's got to do them manually now. As stated before he has no idea how to fucking do this, so he asks the person he thinks knows braiding best to help him. Who is that person? Aether.

Two ways to go from here:

1. Soft aeventi where Aether teaches Venti how to braid his hair. Venti is clumsy at first so Aether braids his hair for him.

(Optional part 2- He ends up enjoying this so even after he learns how to braid his hair he comes back to Aether to do it each time)

2. Aether also knows jack shit about braiding hair. His hair is magically kept it place. He tried unbraiding it once but it just didnt???? Like it would not unbraid??? help

(Optional part 2- Venti is sad because he feels like a piece of his friend is gone now)

(Optional part 3- Aether comforts Venti about it, and eventually Venti gets used to having his hair down, and starts feeling more like his own person than an imposter)
