They broke up several years ago because George finished college in the states and had to go back home to the UK. It was less of a mutual decision to break up and more George panicking and dumping Dream over a phone call in the summer following George’s graduation.

Now that it’s been years, and George is back working a job in the US, he’s mildly horrified to find out that Dream works for the same company as he does, in the same building, in the same office. In the end, it's a case of realising that a lot of things might change, but the important parts stay the same.

okay okay HEAR ME OUT ON THIS ONE. I love this fic because even though there's angst, and past conflict, they've both aged and matured and (I think) handle the situation very well!! I love how the author has written this because it feels very real; even though you still love someone, time matters, and things don't just immediately click back into place. cute fumbling and slightly awkward encounters ensue but the ending is worth it :) a lovely fic by the amazing @didntstand check out their other fics too!!

Turns out, he was wrong. Turns out, there is another person on earth. He grins too much and wheezes like a tea kettle, but there's another person.

okay this fic is definitely a more graphic fic rec of mine, but is SO worth the read. post-zombie apocalypse, George and Dream are some of the last alive. It's definitely one of those fics where the world is ending so the characters resort to humor to cope LMAO its so good. make sure to read the tags, but don't let the MCD tag deter you PLS. I don't want to spoil anything but,,, everyone ends up together and happy and (kind of) alive in the end so :) READ IT its one of the first fics I read in this fandom! if you love dystopian style world building then this is for you

another dnf Gods!au that I just LOVE so much. the way George is generally apathetic and just Chillin with immortality and Dream is so endearing and just wants to get to know him because he's pretty. its so wholesome and it has a part 2 that's just as good. 100/10 amazing read pls. written by the crazy talented @yourlazykitkat !

@sfdsds They indeed use the leftover sawdust like material and mix it with riverclay and use it to cover the floors and walls of the inner rooms of their nests. The entranceway does not have this because it might get wet when it rains and then it would just be an absolute muddy mess. The wood clay along with providing extra insulation makes it so the Pygmies wont get splinters from the floor.

In Fact we have news! the Pygmies Nest has been completed! so you can see the new rooms :)

We have seen the entrance area before. but as many of you might have noticed there is in fact some some tunnels branching off into other rooms! The tunnel on the left farthest from the rocks leads to the personal nesting areas.

The Dust Pygmy appears to be sleeping on his recently finished bed :) We should leave before we disturb his rest.

Moving onto the Pygmy Horror's room we can see he is finishing up making his bed!

The Pygmy nightmare is resting in his chambers as well! @topazshadowwolf It seems That This species do in fact enjoy decorating their nests! This Nightmare seems very pleased with his gem :) this knowledge will be valuable in understanding the behaviors of these particular species of Pygmy!

This is The Cross Pygmy's nest area. He seems to be elsewhere at the moment however.

Hmmm it seems the Killer Pygmy's nest room is vacant as well. I wonder where he might have gone?

To continue our little tour we need to return to the entrance area in order to go into the tunnel on the right, closest to the stones. This tunnel leads to the storage area and extra rooms!

Here is an extra room. it will most likely be a Gang meetingplace and hangout area. It seems we have also located the Cross Pygmy! He seems to be checking on the woodclay to make sure it is dry. Though still no sign of the Killer Pygmy? Hmm well we will continue the tour through the lower tunnel. This tunnel leads to the storage area for food and such

!? oh! it seems our little sneaky thief is snitching berries before mealtime! what a little troublemaker :) It seems the storage is already stocked with food. This is a sign of a good and healthy Gang of Pygmies :D This nest will likely be expanded and decorated as the Pygmies continue to make themselves feel more and more at home.

we should leave the Gang to their business now. I wonder what we will witness next in the lives of these incredible little creatures :)

i keep seeing misinformation about this, so: queerplatonic relationships do not have a set definition. the name comes from the idea that it's "queering" the platonic relationship, tailoring it to the individual relationships' own desires. it isn't necessarily romance lite, but it also isn't necessarily whatever definition you want to impose on it. the point of queering the platonic relationship is to break away from strict allonormative views on friendship, romance, and sex, not to make a new categorical box to fit in.

the answer to "what is a qpr?" is "whatever you want it to be." sometimes that is romance lite. sometimes it's a deeply committed friendship. sometimes it's friends who have a sexual relationship. sometimes it's based on an entirely different mode of attraction. sometimes it's fluid and impossible to put into words. it's whatever you want it to be. it's queer.
