i hate how our generation has turned feelings into a weakness. how we tend to shut feelings out of our hearts once we start noticing their “symptoms”, as if they were a disease. how people break up because they’re afraid of going too far. what is so wrong about feeling, what is so wrong about loving with all of your heart? i feel so out of place in an era where loving means suffering.

Things I want to remember in 2018 1. Shameless people are everywhere. They will say what they have to say to get what they want out of you. Even if don’t mean it. Even if they know they don’t mean it. Shameless people will do what they have to, to get what they want out of you. They won’t care about your well being. They will not care about your loss. The thing is, their shameless-ness makes you feel ashamed if you don’t oblige with them. Because they are so persistent about what they want. But that’s just messed up. So be shameless when you have to deal with shameless people. Be shameless about the fact that your time, your life, you are only yours. Not in a selfish way. Only while dealing with such people. 2. Know your worth. No one will tell you your true worth because that will be a disadvantage. You being lost and confused and insecure is beneficial for them. You have to know your own worth. 3. Pick one thing. One thing you want to work on in this new year. I know there are so many things that need your time and energy. But pick one. And then dedicate time and energy to that. Everything but this is negotiable. Don’t stop working on this. You can have other things you’re working on too. But when situations arise in which you have to give up your time and focus to do something unanticipated, something unavoidable, cut down on those secondary things. But never on this one. Just one. 4. Sleep on it. Not to avoid it. Not to procrastinate. But to not be so overwhelmed. To not be so high on emotions. To not be irrational. To not make quick decisions that are reckless and rash and stupid. Sleep on it. 5. We keep thinking that we are getting older. I mean sure, we are. But being 20 is young. Being 25 is young. You’re a young adult until 32. Did you know that? Did you? I’m a 20 year old youth. And I’m not old. And I’m not going to be for a while. I know I have silver hair strands. And I know my idealism is…I won’t say it’s dying. I will say it’s altering. And that’s not a bad thing. But I’m young. And I don’t have to be dumb. I can give being young a new definition. But before, I should stop feeling so old. Being old isn’t a bad thing. Not at all. But it’s wrong to convince yourself that you’re something that you’re not. 6. Don’t follow other people. I know the thought of life after graduation seems very daunting and confusing but don’t look at others to do what they are doing. You have never liked crowds. Crowded places make you sick. Those paths are crowded and so worn out. And I know if you want to create your own, it will take time. Construction always takes time. It is a long term project but it will also provide long term benefits. And guess what? you can completely customize this path. Just like you like it.  7. What do we do about the people we hate? Endure.  When it is professional, we endure. Sometimes we have to quietly bear the annoyance and frustration in the present to be able to get what we want. But remember, when it’s personal we never endure! 8. Body.  I have given too much importance to my heart and soul. In that pursuit I have majorly neglected my body. For that, I am sorry. And because I know a genuine apology follows a corrective action, I will take that corrective action. I will make this right.

More or less from one day to the next, they forgot. It had been coming for years, even decades. A few had noticed, but named it something else. A new invention in the ever accelerating digital world. Some positive or unavoidable thing. Anything digital. Connected to development, innovation, progress… It's a win/win. Another much used term; guaranteed to hide the truth. But suddenly, one fine day, everybody on the planet had forgotten. Words. Letters. Sentences. How to write, speak, communicate. Apparently for no reason. They began all over. They had to. Some with 0'es and 1'es. Trying to reprogram languages. That failed, no surprise. Other started scratching in modern caves. In the beginning just almost indecipherable signs. In the 21st century, they began building pyramids again. It was a decision not really taken by any authority, but it was commonly very popular. It's hard to say if it was caused by lack of believable Gods; many had been worshipped with a huge amount of followers for hundreds if not thousands of years. So maybe it was a response, or rather result, of the increasing single high-rises. Usually placed where they would do most harm. In the sense of being extremely ugly, and at the same time standing so you couldn't get free of the sight. It was a new and very effective form of prisons. You had to either stay inside with curtains drawn, or simply walk around with your eyes closed very hard. To avoid being caught in that devastating ugliness. Maybe that was why. If there had to be those sky-scratching buildings, then why not give them a purpose? Put something inside. So it happened. New pyramids. Filled with whatever you wanted. Your dreams, your destiny, your future… Your freedom. At night they were lit with hope. From and for every single soul. Most about escaping the new high-rise prisons. To live with open eyes. Now we come to the central organs. Ha-ha; still not used to it? But this IS how we look inside. Please pre-vomit before lesson, young man. Otherwise consider change to some other line of studying. Like literature, where you safely can read about this. Without getting your fingers in it… And replace reality with something like 'soul'. And more fictive rubbish. Finished cleaning up yourself? Then let's continue. We clearly see the almost black structure that is bones, then in grey and greyish, tendons, intestines and other gutt-stuff. Whatever… The heart is seen as very bright, and is, as known even in literature, the muscle that keeps us alive. Though some fiction will tell you nonsense about the heart not only being a muscle! Ridiculous… Try stop that light, and the room goes all blank. A few seconds trying to remember, then *pling!*. Around that ticking bomb, literally, we see the rest of the organs in the upper torso: Different shapes and colours of fluffy stuff: Cotton! And THAT is where expressions like "being soft around the heart" comes from. Feel free to take some samples. They can be quite useful in many ways. I myself never buy any kind of cotton wool! You, young man, you can use some to remove those smelly stains, just dig in! Red just seems natural in autumn. But this red was alive. And not a very friendly creature. It peeled itself of and started attacking. With the very effective active red crane in overdrive. Swinging wildly as a fast forward movie. Motions and movements as fast as a Raptor with rabies. The little gathered group of humans was swallowed in one big sweep. In the fragment of a second. And then they were all red. Melting, literally, into that autumns somewhat rare more-red-than-ever months. Instantly becoming part of the natural decomposition. Rapidly decaying. And for the helpful worms to get into action, the frantic cranes threw around dirt and soil. So the bodies soon was unmarked graves. Some so taken by surprise, not expecting the process being in almost ridiculous at least grotesque uptempo speed. And ever accelerating. Beyond what is possible. Those few people turning up in lalaland to watch the red in action, was a buried bag of bones with no bag before their skulls could say "why red?" Indeed a good question. The answer was just a silent but frightening collective growl from all the spreading red. And cranes roaring up through the sky, leaving open wounds pouring out, of course, massive vomit of red. Red was soon the colour of the first flakes of snow; and even the wind was howling in red. A few months later the universe was monochrome.
