Gr 9 sketchbook assignments. Mainly hands.
Let me just add that I'm grateful they supplied us with sketchbooks for art, but I hate the paper. Idk what medium it's meant for but it has this certain texture that makes me cringe to draw w pencil on (I also hate the feeling of it as well). It's good for pen tho

CD Painting Event
September 13, 2023
I try harded for this event at uni by sketchin up concepts for it beforehand. I kept the CD hung up in my dorm thinking that I'd eventually finish it, but then I forgor to take it when I moved out 💀
Might redo it one day, the og had problems anyways. I wanted to have scales that were the CD backing so they'd be holographic, but their brushes were so shitty it wldve been impossible
Also ig I didn't take any pictures of the CD itself (the pic is 1 my roommate took 😭)

I started this wayyy before (around the alastor one), but I had problems with it for a while so I just left it alone until I practically finished it in one day. Ig something just clicked cos I didn't really change much, other than redo what little progress i'd made on the lineart

I think top left was created for a gr9 sketchbook assignment. Not 100% sure, though. The rest followed as me just wanting to explore the style and theme.

I really like this one. Fun to do and turned out well.
Locked in when I was inking (the 'sketch' was essentially just me drybrushing) (this goes for all of these inktober drawings tho) cos I was scared.
