Gr9 mixed media piece (with 4+ medias min) I ended up doing instead of the eyes. Took mixed media a bit too literally and ended up not utilizing the most fun part of mixed media - that is, using all of the media simultaneously. It's cute seeing how the style slightly changes according to the specific medium, though.

Sequential hermaphroditism (called dichogamy in botany) is a type of hermaphroditism that occurs in many fish, gastropods, and plants. Sequential hermaphroditism occurs when the individual changes its sex at some point in its life.[1] In particular, a sequential hermaphrodite produces eggs (female gametes) and sperm (male gametes) at different stages in life.[2] Species that can undergo these changes from one sex to another do so as a normal event within their reproductive cycle that is usually cued by either social structure or the achievement of a certain age or size.[3]

This was supposed to be a themed trilogy, but I, like always, did not really have a theme in mind. I was kind of going for 'where art and technology/science meet' but it was really shoehorned. This was going to be a beautiful piece symbolizing medicine w elements of the staff of asclepius w the snake and her arm.
Making this was really, really annoying. I hadn't done a multi canvas piece since the cardinal (which was five years prior) so the idea was I go all out for this one (bad idea, never got finished). I did really like the style and the overall composition of the piece, but there's a 0.00001% chance I ever go back to this because of how big of a task it'd be.
First of all, making the wooden frame just to hold the canvases in the right position was terrible. I made the spacing smaller because I didn't want to lose details, but because it was so thin it broke 24/7. Don't even talk to me about the nailing/gluing process.... horrible.
Painting it was also a feat, because it took up so much space and I had to dance around the pieces constantly.
I got it to a place where it was finished enough, and then I was done with it.
(also I changed the position of the legs in the painting to make it more anatomically correct, but it ruined the silhouette)
The canvases still exist in my house, but the frame is long gone.

In favour of keeping the actual creation date in chronological order, the prompt days are now out of order 🤠👍👍(I'm keeping it as consistent as I can, just that day 14 is gonna be out of place >_<)
This one turned out way bettwe than I thought it would. It's not great, I just had very very very low expectations for it.

I don't remember painting this at all, really. Just vague impressions. I actually like the painting, but ig I didn't like it back then cos I put that huge tear in the middle.
Idky I took the canvas off of its wooden skeleton for this painting.

I think top left was created for a gr9 sketchbook assignment. Not 100% sure, though. The rest followed as me just wanting to explore the style and theme.

Kept on imagining an aggressive little murder family when I listened to this song so I drew it.
Wanted to make it very shapely and give each person a distinct body type. Did it p well

Just some fanart. Played around with different line weights for the fore/mid/background. Morgo was done with a brush and india ink for the thickest lines, misfortune with a pen and the bg has no lineart.
The quote was a paper addition that could be removed/added
