No tengo pensado dedicarme al dibujo, porque estoy estudiando una carrera en la universidad. Eso significa que solo puedo dibujar en mis ratos libres, y de lo que más me quejo en este blog es del poco tiempo que tengo para dibujar 😆, la gente ya estará harta de leerlo.

I don't plan to dedicate myself to drawing, because I'm studying a degree at university. That means I can only draw in my spare time, and what I complain most about in this blog is the little time I have to draw 😆 people will be sick of reading it by now.

Esto no quiere decir que jamás vaya a aceptar peticiones. Si soy sincera, soy novata en esto de subir dibujos a sitios web, así que he tenido que buscar información sobre qué son las comisiones😅. Según he entendido, las comisiones son para recibir un pago por un dibujo a petición (y yo considero que no tengo un nivel de dibujo como para que alguien me pague por ellos).

This doesn't mean that I'll never accept requests. To be honest, I'm new to uploading drawings to websites, so I had to look for information about what commissions are😅. As I have understood, commissions are to get paid for a drawing on demand (and I consider that I don't have a level of drawing that someone would pay me for them).

Si alguien quiere hacer una petición de un dibujo (lo que se llama request, si no me equivoco), yo no tengo problema, pero hay que considerar lo que he dicho antes. En este momento me viene muy mal, así que preferiría esperar al verano. Espero que no sea una molestia. (Podéis pedir antes, pero tardaré bastante en acabarlo)

If someone wants to make a request for a drawing, I have no problem, but you have to consider what I said before. At the moment it's very inconvenient for me, so I'd rather wait for the summer. I hope it won't be a bother. (You can request earlier, but it will take me a long time to finish it)

Hoy estaba ordenando los dibujos cuando encontré una carpeta con dibujos, algunos de hace varios años (unos 5 o 6, cuando yo tenía 13 😆), y pensé que sería buena idea crearme otro tumblr dedicado a fanarts random.

Today I was organising my drawings when I found a folder with other drawings, most of them from several years ago (about 5 or 6, when I was 13 😆), and I thought it would be a good idea to create another tumblr dedicated to random fanart.

Voy a empezar subiendo, con una frecuencia de un post a la semana, algunos de esos dibujos antiguos (los que estén decentes) y quizás continúe con dibujos que haga ahora. En ese Tumblr no subiré Star Trek porque ya lo subo en este.

I'm going to start uploading, with a frequency of one post per week, some of those old drawings (the ones that are decent) and maybe continue with drawings I do now. On that Tumblr I won't upload Star Trek because I already upload it on this one.

Algunos de los fandoms de los que he dibujado son: Marvel (no tengo muchos), Piratas del Caribe (tampoco hay muchos), Pokemon, Minecraft Story Mode (si no lo conocéis, os sugiero que juguéis a ese juego, porque la historia es genial) y una historia que me he inventado, que empecé hace 3 o 4 años, que se llama Vida de Señores Oscuros (tengo hecha ya toda la historia, dibujados todos los personajes, la línea temporal... Quiero saber si es una historia que a la gente le puede gustar. El género es fantasía, aventura y acción. Es como una mezcla entre futuro y Edad Media).

Some of the fandoms I've drawn are: Marvel (I don't have many fanart), Pirates of the Caribbean (there aren't many either), Pokemon, Minecraft Story Mode (if you don't know it, I suggest you play that game, because the story is great) and a story I made up, which I started 3 or 4 years ago, called Life of Dark Lords (I have already made the whole story, drawn all the characters, the timeline.... Just because I create that secondary account doesn't mean that I'm going to stop uploading what I have planned on this account, after all, this is the "main account" for a reason. If I have to leave one, it will be the other one.

Es una canción de Mägo de Oz (metal). Es una balada (me encantan las baladas) que canta alguien (en mi mente Spock), que acaba de morir. Dice que estaba enamorado cuando vivía, pero nunca se atrevió a decírselo a quien amaba (en este caso Bones). Cuando canta se dirige a aquellos con quienes vivía (la tripulación del Enterprise) en algunos versos, y en la inmensa mayoría a aquella persona especial (Bones)

It's a song by Mägo de Oz (metal). It's a ballad (I love ballads) sung by someone (in my mind Spock), who has just died. He says he was in love when he was alive, but never dared to tell the one he loved (in this case Bones). When he sings he addresses those he lived with (the crew of the Enterprise) in some verses, and in the vast majority to that special person (Bones)

El título Desde mi cielo claramente refleja que su cielo es distinto al que normalmente se piensa. Cielo se entiende al lugar donde se va cuando se muere en el cristianismo, donde te espera Dios. Pero su cielo es distinto. Su cielo es la mente de McCoy. Desde allí les cuida y guía. Desde allí, dirige esta canción, les habla, sobre todo a Bones.

The title From my Heaven clearly reflects that his heaven is different from what is normally thought of. Heaven is understood as the place where you go when you die in Christianity, where God awaits you. But his heaven is different. His heaven is McCoy's mind. From there he watches over them and guides them. From there, he directs this song, he speaks to them, especially to Bones.

I'm going to translate into English the parts I like the most. I have to say that the song won me over from the melody of the beginning with the piano, and every time I listen to it (especially that same melody later in the song but now with an electric guitar), it breaks my heart. It's an intentionally sad song and I can feel it (even more if you think about Spock's death and the rest of the crew suffering his loss) 🥺

Voy a traducir al inglés las partes que más me gustan. He de decir que la canción me ganó desde la melodía del principio con el piano, y cada vez que la escucho (especialmente esa misma melodía más adelante en la canción pero ahora con una guitarra eléctrica), me parte el corazón. Es una canción intencionadamente triste y yo lo puedo sentir (más aún si piensas en la muerte de Spock y al resto de la tripulación sufriendo su pérdida) 🥺

He buscado referencias de personas bailando para dibujar esto. Me he fijado más en bailes españoles, concretamente flamencos.

I have looked for references of people dancing to draw this. I have focused more on Spanish dances, concretelly flamenco.

Ups, es la primera vez que Spock baila en serio y ha pisado a McCoy, pero Bones no se ha molestado (bastante que el vulcaniano ha aceptado su propuesta)

Oops, this is the first time Spock has danced seriously and stepped on McCoy's toes, but Bones didn't mind (enough that the Vulcan accepted his proposal)

Me gusta hacer escenas largas, con espacios intermedios entre diálogos, porque así la historia no queda tan acelerada y forzada. He aquí el principio:

Este es el primer dibujo que hice en el ordenador con la tableta gráfica de mi hermana. Fue un dibujo rápido, casi un boceto. Tan solo quería probar cómo iba el programa de dibujo.

This is the first drawing I did on the computer with my sister's graphic tablet. It was a quick drawing, almost a sketch. I just wanted to test how the drawing program worked.

Tengo que aprender a usar esa tableta y dejar de hacer un mogollón de líneas, pero por algo se empieza.

I have to learn how to use that tablet and stop making a lot of lines, but that's a start.

Estoy sorprendida por la calidad de las imágenes. Aún no sé cómo funciona lo de los píxeles y quizás me haya pasado con la resolución (tengo que decir que es la calidad que viene por defecto).

I am surprised by the quality of the images. I still don't know how the pixel thing works and I may have overdone it with the resolution (I have to say that this is the default quality).
