They last forever or until they rust and you decide you don't want to contaminate your food with metal anymore. I have one that is extremely rusty and is at least 15 years old

Okay but will you be able to remember that you already bought it? Because apparently I can't.

Petting a street cat. Helping an old woman that dropped her bag in the bus. Complimenting a Haredi girl with a really cute handmade bow. Asking an Arab girl for directions, and her explaining in extreme detail. Pulling a random boy from the road before he will get run over. Translating between the English speaking lady that wants to buy coffee and the Hebrew seller that can't understand a word of English. Crying, and a Haredi woman comforting you without knowing who you are or what is going on. Helping a family of tourists to get to the old city. Helping to comfort a kid in a bomb shelter in a neighborhood that isn't yours. Street libraries. Helping a woman in Central Station pay with her phone for the metro. Benched with names of people who loved this city. Decorated pavement that someone made years ago and somehow stayed intact. People who aren't always nice, but are always kind.

Yes yes yes!!! And they aren't developing the side characters, so no one can slap him in the face and tell him to talk to somebody. We NEED more side characters? The bank dude? I NEED to see him talking to Mat about his feeling or something. Heather? Matt just fucking tell her you are daredevil it ain't that hard. The lawyer woman? I don't even know her name because we never hear from her. How is it I feel more connected to Fisk's assistant (the dude) then to ANY OTHER SIDE CHARACTER??? He isn't even good but he is the only character we get to know other than Matt. Use the Ayala girl!! Use Frank Castle! Or hell, any other defender. ANYONE!!! PLEASE

I think one of the reasons I miss Foggy and Karen is Matt has no one to really talk to in this season (not even a priest!). His relationships with his work and life partners are both new (and feel undercooked, especially as both are based on a high degree of deception), and his interactions with Cherry are limited.

I get to some degree this is deliberate - Matt is untethered in the same way Fisk, partially estranged from Vanessa, is and they both revert to old ways. But it does feel like we are more removed from Matt than ever and I miss the old dynamic.

My brother is sleeping on the sofa and it's the funniest thing.

He looks like this:

My Brother Is Sleeping On The Sofa And It's The Funniest Thing.

One pillow over his head and one on his butt. He looks like he is sleeping backwards

Update: he is now hugging the pillow that was on his butt, but his face is still completely covered by the other pillow

This is the reality we live in. Also I had been in the same bomb shelter FOUR TIMES and it's not even in my neighborhood, I just had weird luck I guess. I now know all the people living there. I know the mom with her two years old baby. The teen that 'doesn't want to stay the full ten minutes in the shelter' and 'after you hear the boom you can go outside' and his parents begging him to come inside and not get hit by fragments. The three five years old boys that love playing cards and their parents that love watching them smile. The girl with the giant brown dog and her brother that likes to make stupid jokes she say she hate but obviously secretly love. The four years old boy that cries when you hear the rockets and his parents that put his favorite snack in these so he'll feel better. The parents with the mentally disabled girl that doesn't understand why she has to be there, and her parents that hug her and make her feel as comfortable as possible while forcing her to stay for her safety. The man who knows how to tell if a rocket was hit in the air by the iron dome or hit the ground by sound, and makes everyone feel a bit better when they know no one was hurt, because it was in the air. The woman who just works in this apartment building and doesn't really know anyone, but learns to know them with me, and smiles.

I'm low-key studying ceramics (if I keep going like this, I'll have a ceramic degree in 30 years. So really low-key. 3 hours a week) so the ceramics wait for me in a damp, warm bag for a week. Naturally I have seen more mold than in all of my like combined, and I now know there are different smells to different molds. I mainly interact with white fluffy mold and green flat mold, and the green one smells like the first rain of the year. Amazing. The white one is disgusting and I hate it (even though it's really nice to touch). So I wonder if you can also taste the difference.

One of the bummers of being a super taster is how Big mold tastes. And because I can taste it before it’s actually sprouting I’m often disbelieved. Like, sorry restaurant. I know I’ve gotten this sandwich before and I know your cucumber is usually fresh, but today it’s moldy. I understand you can’t see the mold. But I swear. It’s there.

Tonight we had hot dogs and we picked up the buns today. Unfortunately neither of us realized the best by date was also today. The first bun I had was fine but I hit corruption midway down the second bun. I just ate the hotdog bun less, but we had to scrap the rest of the bag.
