It was nothing but,
Shadow's breeze,
That hung above our heads,
In sheer of time's freeze,
Crept along the slanted walls,
Till' it threw its storm,
There was a silent crawl,
Then a raging brawl.
Guided By Stars by The Hen
Those pinpoints of light,
That shine through the night,
Magnificent twilight, along with the waning moon,
I hope that peace is coming soon.
If all is lost, all is gone,
Never be swallowed,
By the haunting shadows.
The stars are there,
To guide you,
Among unknown terrain,
For eternal time.
I watch,
As the future comes to pass,
Life has changed,
For all of us.
Those we left behind,
In our years of the past,
We miss, and we wish,
To see them one last time.
Reach for the stars,
For your dreams,
For your wishes.
Grasp and cherish what,
Defines the endless galaxy,
And the everlasting of memories,
That lies in our hearts.
Soar through the sky,
And find what you wish,
Speak and ask,
The stars and stars,
For they will guide you,
And bring your mind and soul,
To forever rest,
And forever harmony.
Guided by stars,
I walk down my path,
And seek afar.
The wishes,
That have been cast by the shooting beauty,
Be true,
With the moonlight and the twilight,
In sync,
Always there to guide our lives.
Please, I beg you, I’m sorry.
Trying to please those around me,
Trying to ask for nothing more than freedom,
Trying to please you, just saying please,
Please, forgive me.
I tried to hide from you,
I tried to run,
I tried to ignore the darkening skies,
But now you caught me,
And put me into chains,
Forcing me to follow your reign,
So I please you,
I bring you what you ask,
No matter how hard the task,
Even if you slap me,
The red mark on my face,
Deep and cutting,
Though I don’t cry,
I never really asked for pity,
I only ask you,
To forgive me.
Please, please, please,
Just let me go,
Stop taunting me,
Stop forcing me,
Stop killing me,
Stop hurting me,
Stop tearing me,
All I ask for,
Is to be free,
And I will please.
Please, forgive me,
Please, release me,
Please, let my soul,
Go.
I wonder why I see a fire,
Burning in the water.
Maybe we’re just waiting for the hope,
That lingers with the fresh scent of the rain,
But it’s so hard to cope,
With the desolations of ash,
Falling in flurries,
So seamless,
Gentle,
The marking of a new day,
In barren pain.
The rain,
Clear, faint droplets,
That make a resounding splatter,
Soaking the ashen ground,
Like a serenade,
The harmony of the wind,
The whispering leaves,
And the rippling rain,
A song so pure,
So graceful,
That overpower,
The stinging pain.
It seemed so lifeless,
Hopeless,
Useless,
When there was no sound,
Amidst the smokey haze,
Just the Earth in it’s silent stance,
Like time itself was in a trance,
When the first rain,
Hit the ground,
The skies crying out,
Their sorrow,
And the uncertainty of tomorrow.
Then, so strange,
There was a calm yet sudden change,
When the clouds bellowed,
Their last thunder,
And moved on,
The illumination of the sun,
Unseen for so long,
And if you listened,
Ever so carefully,
You could hear the soft singing,
From the birds beyond.
Horizons by TheHen
The sun’s setting,
The mix of memories,
Intertwined with the warm colors,
Through sunrise and sunset,
Through the rising tide,
We ride,
Along the horizons.
Horizons are where land and sky merge,
Where the possibilities emerge,
There is not one horizon,
But infinite horizons.
Look afar,
And watch the gliding seagulls,
As they twist and turn and soar,
Along the horizons.
We see one line,
But maybe it’s just too fine,
Because beyond the horizon,
Lies unknown hope and faith.
We are mortal,
With lives that can die,
And fade away,
But if you wish,
If you try,
We can fly,
Along the horizons.
Our faces,
Pelted with the crashing waves,
And the howling wind,
But the horizons,
So beautiful,
The sunrise and set,
Illuminate the skies into something more.
The tears that leak from our eyes,
Not sorrow,
But joy,
The smiles that will be true,
After the sight,
It’s nothing like we’ve seen before,
Like the magnificent stars and endless skies,
But, something, just something more.
The blinding light,
It erases the night,
Horizons,
Are more than what meets the eye,
Like the glowing speck of life,
Yet so vast,
We feel like crying,
With smiles of the newfound unknown.
Walk along the shores,
And watch afar,
Beyond the seas and depths,
Beyond the shadows and people,
Our delight like the brightest light,
Stride through and try,
To fly above the skies,
Along the horizons.
