I was worried that Ganok's obsession would become possessive and then lead to destruction. Especially when Jiyong started entertaining Joheon as a possible partner.

But then Gangok heard about the plan and just... he just loved Jiyong even more. He didn't even question it. His hesitation towards Joheon was the fact that Joheon would be a problem for Jiyong. But as long as Jiyong had plans to bring Joheon to their side, Gangok was like, let's do that. Yeah.

I was so scared when he pursued Jiyong and then closed the door, instead of going to safety, he chose to hold back the hoard that was on their tail. I was swearing up and down my room because if they'd killed him I would have lost all hope in kdramas for the rest of the year.

But he survived.

And wouldn't you know it? The first thing he uttered after he woke from a coma was "Jiyong."
