You value the expectations of others so much that you haven't taken the time to know what you really value. Your method of study is quite unique and non-traditional, and you are stifling and suppressing it in a rigid method. The best approach you can have right now is one where you are not so rigid. You're not doing things for the love of it, or what you learn. You're doing it so rigidly trying to meet the expectations of others that it rightly makes you feel unhappy, stuck, and even causes you to procrastinate.
