howdy!! its nice to see a new classpecting blog in this year of 2021 :D (and a really active one at that- but please try not to overwork yourself!) i'd love to hear your take on a knight of space! and maybe weapon ideas, perhaps nature or writing themed?

I love how you sent this and then I went dead for like 4 months or something. But thank you so much it means the world to me so sorry about the wait.

Knights are a neat class, described the ones who exploit their aspect as a weapon, as mentioned by Aradia. It's speculated that they may be the ones who serve their aspect or serve through their aspect for the betterment of others. Knights are always known to have some sort of mask, or fear of being wrong or a let down in some way. This is seen with Dave's cool kid persona to hide away at his insecurities, karkats anger and Grey scale palette to hide both his blood color and mask how deeply he truly cares for his friends, and latulas gamer girl persona to.. mask the fact she is nose blind? Or maybe it's to da with the fact she feels insignificant who KNOWS. Who am I to judge though. Moving on !!!! Knights also have a noted pattern of their session lacking what their aspect was. Dave's session was short on reckoning time, karkats session was full of betrayal and broken bonds despite his best efforts, and latulas session is described as "a series of bad decisions".

That last bit does not seem to bode well for a Knigjt of Space but all is not lost!!!!

Space!!!!! Space is all about creativity, it's about finding your own path, doing things YOUR way. Space players are very smart and calculated, but can be painfully aware of when it's time to let soemthing die and are not ones to dwell on absolutes. We see this alot with Jade early in the comic, very omnipotent about what's going to happen with the game na dbeing very.. nonchalant about the chaos that ensues around her. Kanaya too has a stronger sense of intuition, being a very smart and calculated Sylph even if she was meddlesome a little bit we still love her sobs. Space players. Unlike time players, don't have much care for the future. In the sense I mean they don't worry about it. They are very shoot now ask questions later, focused on living in the present and doesn't put alot of great thought or care into what might happen. Space is ever growing , in our real life. The universe is expanding and growing and so do Space players!!!

The inverse of a Knight of Space is a Rogue of Time!!! Both very interesting classes.

So! Let's tie this all up and fuse these bitch like it's monster high freaky fusion

Knights of Space start of with.. a deficit or flaw of some kind that they try to hide. They are extremely skilled at what they do I think. They are the Jack's of All trades, but they really think of themselves of Masters of None. They feel like they aren't good enough or don't do well with whatever project they are trying to complete. Artists are like this alot, but a Knight of Space might scrap a project because in the now it doesn't look where they want it to be without considering that maybe it'll look even better if they keep going. They constantly bounce from pr9ject to project, maybe they do the same thing for their various interests. Knights of Space develop very fast, they are quick and detailed workers, but Knights also tend to use their aspect without realizing their consequences. Maybe they rush the creation process or even take too long trying to perfect the genesis frog and fuck something up, ruining their session or maybe reality a little more wacky than what they wanted it to be. If it gets severe enough, like any artists; they may forfeit their own health for their art

Weapon time!

Knights have been seen primarily with bladed and sharp weapons l, though with Latula we can perhaps assume she has some similar to terezis staff sword thing!!

Space players tend to use Tactical / Close range, seen with kanayas Chainsaw and Jades rifle!

Writing Themed

- penkind, primarily a calligraphy ink pen with the metal tip could slice and dice and be a cool weapon, plus special moves using the ink ? That'd be cool! Maybe it could be uh. I forgot the word combined? Fused? With something nature themed to give it a pretty flowers and vines all around it!

Nature Themed

- Axekind, not inheritly nature themed but it is a blade and ties into the specific ranges space players death with

- Shovel, goes hand in hand with Axe
